I was visiting Montreal and she was the most welcoming and nice sales person I've met here. They also have a variety of smoked meat, which is amazing

Awesome place: the meat is very tasty and delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, in a nutshell: if you like East European cuisine on particular, and great taste of a good meat in general, this place is for you.

They have many traditional romanian products, including branza de burduf and slanina.

I've been going there for years. Today, I went to see them, because the ham my wife bought wasn't good (it had turned). My wife had come straight home from the store. The owner's attitude was that she forgot it in the car, and that was it. It's perhaps the attitude that took me aback. Too bad. I won't going back. Ever. Their stuff is good, but nobody's perfect and with an attitude like that, I'm not going to encourage them, nor tell the world what a great place it is, since it's owned by someone who doesn't respect his clients. Very disappointed.

The meats products are all prepared and smoked on site. Wonderful quality at reasonable prices. If you are into choucroute garnie, this is tops for sausages, smoke hocks, and heads of cabbage direct from the brine barrel. And try the smoked ham. To die for.
