Their food was really good, but Service is where they shined. The young lady serving us upstairs, she was amazing. She sensed our needs and assisted us numerous times throughout our Brunch with a kind Smile and a great attitude. Kudos on hiring her

The food is absolutely delicious you can come here with family, friends, coworkers since the atmosphere is suitable for everyone and the service is really amazing the workers are all extremely nice and easy to talk to and everyone there is really welcoming.

"Our evening out as a group of 15 quickly turned disappointing due to the restaurant's disorganization. From mixed-up orders and delayed service to receiving dishes that didn't match our orders, frustration mounted. The kebabs arrived undercooked, and while they were eventually replaced, this added to our growing dissatisfaction. The final straw was the chef's disrespectful attitude and aggressive language (specially toward ladies!) as we were leaving. Such unwelcoming treatment, coupled with the culinary mishaps, completely ruined our night. A regrettable experience, what should have been an enjoyable gathering.

The food is simply THE BEST
The service however, could be improved! And the atmosphere, they need to keep it clean! We were met by a cockroach and the table was sticky

This is my favourite Arabic/Iranian restaurant. Whenever I want to go somewhere nice and enjoy the
food, THIS IS IT. Love the kababs, salad and lentil soup. And salads dressing is to die for

We went there Wednesday night
The food was really good but the service was terrible!
The waiter didn’t check our table to make sure everything is fine! And he forgot our drinks.

Food is good but when u pay the bill and add tips, it doesn’t show at the total in the receipt of the bill.

BE CAREFUL! We got food poisoning of a kebab dish through Uber Eats. Not only the food arrived stale and cold, the kebabs meat were probably uncooked and/or rotten covered up with spices. We will avoid shopping from here and recommend you to be to very careful!

Pire place pour manger, je suis allé en date, j'ai eu honte avec le service et la bouff périmer on a pas manger nos plats (même si j'ai payé) honnêtement je me suis fait avoir avec les fakes avis déconseiller.

We got takeout from here during our trip to Montreal and absolutely loved it! Food was delicious, I got the mixed kabob and husband got the mixed shawarma and we both enjoyed our meals very much. Great halal place, I'd highly recommend it. It's pricey but worth it.

Ça fait trois fois que je commande chez Château Kabab sur Uber eats une commande simple assiette viande patate et riz, rien d’extra, rien de compliqué et on ne met jamais de patates dans l’assiette. Quand je les appelle pour leur dire qu’ils se sont trompés, ils offrent aucune alternative pour réparer l’erreur. Très déçue.

I have tried better food at different Persian restaurants in Montréal when I spent a couple days during the weekends. There is only one reason that I am giving this review and that is the waiter who took care of our table so professionally with patience. Soroush was our waiter and did a great job when we spent an hour at Chateau kabab. I have never received such an amazing customer service in my entire life. Thank you Soroush and keep up the good work!

Worst customer service ever. Unprofessional staff at the front counters and after a wait of 15 mins for order, all I get is “we are out of chicken would you like beef? It's delicious”

Ordered the family meal on Uber eats. Worst quality dish I've ever had. Meat portions are low, barely any flavor, dry and salty

Food was overall very tasty. Had the Mixed Grill platter and well worth the money. They hummus was delicious, and so was the garlic sauce. The meat skewers and grilled chicken kebabs were great, but the chicken koobideh could be a little more flavourful. Will definitely come here again!

We ordered chicken and at the middle of eating it, we noticed some chickens are totally raw. After we told them, they apologized and just said next time let us know sooner then we cook it again for you and they didn't handle it as we expected or we saw in other restaurants before.

The restaurant messed up my order, I ordered 1 chicken shawarma and 1 beef shawarma without salad and both came with salad after 15 minutes! After the wait they brought both chicken instead of one of each and both with salad. When I told the waitress about the mistake she was super nice and tried to fix it as soon as possible, the customer service from the waitress was great and that's why I gave them 2 stars, otherwise they deserve only 1. They tried to save some face by giving me some fries which was weird but they tried to fix a bit.

Amazing kebabs! Super friendly staff who always checked in on us even though they were busy serving large groups and it was a hectic night for them.
The mixed platters come with soup, rice, fries, salad, hummus and pita!

Don’t recommend. They sat us at a table and then 15 min later came and said oops this table is reserved I had to get the menu myself took them another 20min to take the order

Quality of the meat not good, not well cooked, missing the real taste, taste only spices and salt.

Best Irani restaurant. Price was a little high, but it didn't bother because the food was awesome, tasty, the portion was perfect, you don't feel hungry.

Update: It’s one day past and I have Diarrhea. The kebabs didn’t look normal. Probably rotten meat. Horrible.btw, regarding your comment: it’s up to you how you present your business, no where on Uber Eats to say I should ask for these. Anyways, I highly recommend against unprofessional unhygienic restaurants. Customers risk their health ordering from this place!

Just Awful. Ordered by Uber, last time visited 2 years ago. Slow preparation, no sumac, no butter, no onion, no parsley, salty and dry lamb kebab, cold low-quality rice, almost-uncooked half tomato, only thing good, a fair portion salad. Less quality yet more expensive compared to the one on Atwater St. I order regularly. Apparently results of ownership change. Anyways, I won’t bother in the near future. Thanks!

DO NOT GO HERE, THEY SCAMMED ME! My order was supposed to cost 55$ but they charged me 90$. I asked the guy to put the receipt in my bag and he didn’t, cause he knew he scammed me: (So disappointed and the rice was dry and the meat was so tough and hard to chew. You guys should be ashamed of stealing from tourists and unknowing people, especially as Muslims!

Was visiting from out of town and they wouldn't let us dine in after 10pm. Not very nice and other places were allowing it. Went by almost an hour later and people were still dining in.

Used to be on of our favorite places however
now it has become awful. The food quality has dropped significantly. It was served to us cold and was practically tasteless. Some of the kabob skewers were even burnt. The service was horrible as well, they were clearly accepting more customers then they could handle so the service was very messy, they brought our cutlery much later than the food. They even charged us 10% tip without asking for any permission (we didn't even want to pay them any tip because we had an awful time there).
Do not waste your time and money here.

I really wish I could give 0 stars. When you come and sit in a resturant you dont just come for the food especially if your visiting. We arrived to the resturant around 10pm and sat down ordered around 10: 30 waiting for the employees to clean the tables which is fine its a rush, first come first serve for tables.

After taking another 30 mins just to take the order, the employee kept coming back with bad news, saying no fries, no kabobs (really?), no whole menu items we asked for, and that he would give us replacements for it. The replacement from chicken dishes was beef dishes (some of us were allergic to red meat caused us to have limited food to eat). The replacement to the fries were garlic potatoes (soggy and disgusting no one was able to eat it).

We waited another hour and Instead of being served seperate dinner plates per persons order we got served our meats in a plate and then were given plain white rice in another (not how the dishes were shown or described on the menu or given to other customers in the resturant)

This seems so bizaare but please look at the attached pictures.

Though we were dissapointed we just wanted to leave and get the night over with, an employee comes up to eat and he took the effort to buold himself a dinner plate like how they were suppose to give to our party, after seeing this it really broke us and showed that they just did not want to put in the effort to create different plates for us and instead throw them all together.

I understand places can run out of certain food, but main dishes during a saturday night just seemed like such surreal news, and they do not have any excuse to be making our dishes so poorly and taking 1hour+ to serve it.if you were looking for a good reliable food place to eat at while travelling to Montreal please look else where, the reviews seem to show its a hit or miss and I got the miss and though they got $200 out of me they will never get my money again.

2 hours wasted and the mood for the night ruined.left most of the food as its not what we ordered and were just handed random food they felt was convenient for them.

Feel sorry for the employees who try to make this a good place to be ruined by chefs who cant do their job. Do better.

We arrived at the restaurant at ~10pm 2 hours before closing and it took them over an hour to bring us our food. Most of the food wasn’t even prepared to order as they “ran out”? ! Not only that, the food they did bring us was prepped with no effort

If you are looking for an authentic kebab taste; then this is the place to go. Good food, family environment, excellent service, and mouthwatering food.

The most greatest thing for me was that they were fast and they made the kabab on the charcoal. I got mix koobideh here, the taste was good but the rice was not tasty.the soup was delicious which was aside and free.

Very bad experience, don’t waste your money. I ordered twice but they serve barely warm food. Dry chicken and side sauce was horrible

We were fan of this place, but now it is completely worthless with a rude manager. Last time they missed items in our order and one of the food was cold and not looking fresh. When we complained about this, manager ignored and said it is impossible! Really, do not waste your money here!

Don't try it. It is terrible. Don't waste your money and your time.
I ordered 2 times. Both 2 times was WRONG. The 2nd time they overcharged me. Once I went there and I explained in a very polite and calm way, the manager (cashier) started shouting and responding in the most rude and aggressive way. I just left.

Placed online order with uber, they forgot to send drink and the food was cold. I called but the manager was very unresponsive. I was the fan of here before, but now not recommneding at all. Very disappointed with the service and The quality has dropped dramatically. Do not waste your money.

Affordable Iraqi Style kebabs and a favorite of mine for over 15 years. Don't forget to get a Tannour over bread, you'll love it.

Complete garbage. Ordered 3 things. They messed up 2 of 3. Wow! Really. How hard is it to put garlic sauce on garlic potatoes! Too hard! How hard is it to put a pita on the plate? Too hard! Wow

Plain rice with kabobs, like seriously. They need to upgrade their rice. It’s plain white, no flavour, no tomato sauce to eat with. Their kabobs are really good. Try them with pita wraps but not with rice

Once my fav place in Montreal now offers mediocre food. Burger meat was so disgusting I had to spit it out. Fries tasted one week old. Their skewers are nothing compared to what they used to be. Yes, support restaurants but how when I have to throw 30 dollar worth food.

Family plater was excellent and they allowed us to substitute for Iraqi kebab. The chicken kebab was also well done. The lentil soup was delicious. Service was great.

Best kebab restaurant in North America and the whole continent. It’s just delicious and sizzle under your teeth. If I visit Canada again then having a fullfilling meal there would the reason. The owner of the shop is a great guy and very friendly and I can still remember his face
