When we move out, it charge us more than $4000 bc of carpet replace and other unreasonable fee bc we are students. It takes 6 moths to noticed us, and we lost everything about the apartment at that time so we have no choice but to pay this bill. Watch out if you are students! Especially if you are international students!

I have lived here for almost 5 years. The janitors are very friendly and keep the whole building clean and like new. If you have any trouble, they will help you immediately. Carole, in particular, has helped me a lot over the years. I think this is a place you would call home.

I stayed at chateau lincoln for 8 years.
I can say that i had the best experience during my stay. The staff are super nice and very friendly it is very close from downtown montreal and public transportation

I lived at the Chateau Lincoln for 5 years and it was the best apartment building in the area. What differentiates this building from the others is how clean it is and how professional is the management.

I have lived here for two years. Overall it’s a really good apartment in this community. The size of room is decent. Decor in the building looks new. Elevator, laundry room, lounge all pretty clean. Maintenance request answered fast. A room for shopping packages is great, which many buildings don’t offer. You get outdoor swimming pool and indoor small gym with great view. Dépanneur at the front door. Parking space is enough on the street for most of the time. It’s close to metro, bus, groceries, campus, shopping centre, Mont Royal…. IMO, 1950 has the best location. The losing one star is because the construction in the opposite side…it often starts making noise at 5: 45am in the summer…

The management tries to trick you into renewing expensive lease. My husband and I live in chateau Lincoln and they renewed our lease (which was with promotion) without giving prior notice or reminder to a price higher than the current price of apartments. And now they are not willing to help us resolve the matter.

I have lived in 7 places in Montreal and this is the best building I've lived in, I love it so much that I RENEWED my lease XD (ikr), usually I'd move in to a building and regret it a month in and either try to lease transfer or wait out my lease to move out. This place is so clean, safe and despite a few construction sounds in the morning, it's really quiet throughout the day.

They have a lot of washers and driers that are cleaned daily at the top floor, so you never have to wait your turn and they're card operated, no more coins.

Just watch out for some tenants that don't wear a mask in public spaces, I try my best to avoid sharing the elevator with them.

The front desk is friendly and helpful anytime you need them, the janitors and security are always there in case anything happens, which luckily is rare. I've never seen a cockroach, rat, spider or bedbug! Which is saying a lot for a building downtown, whatever they're doing in this building they need to keep it that way, it's so rare to find a place this perfect.

Overall nice place, I haven't seen bed bugs or roaches, stuff do bug inspection once in a while.but they sometimes do rennovation 7 or 8 in the morning, a bit annoying. There are neighbours that party often (during covid it is quieter). The pipes are old and makes some noise. 3.5 out of 5.

First of all!
Make sure you TAKE and KEEP a copy of every monthly payment you make, the owner has tendency to blame people for not paying their rent when it’s time for them to leave.
It has happened to multiple people I know, and I myself was blamed (thank god I kept all the receipts) some people I know didn’t have the receipts and ended up paying for months they have already payed for I find that to be dishonest.
The Appartments are ok (if renovated) however I still find the prices to be hight compared to the quality (bathroom super small)
The furnished Apartement are all IKEA.
Another thing you should expect is a constant visit to the unit more than needed if you ask me.
Another thing if you decide to leave, make sure you tell them 6 months in advance as they have tendency not to remind you intentionally to renew your contract.

I am staying here with my husband for 1 year and my experience is awesome.people are very polite and helpful:)

All Chinese tenants smoke all the time, you can't breathe.avoid this building because.the manager is an old bored woman who can't handle it and does nothing.
08 May 2021 19:02
Chateau Lincoln is a real mess!
Noisy, Smoky, filthy. Chinese tenets smoke all the time especially at nights, some of the floors has cockroaches.rent price is higher than the same apartments in Montreal, too expensive without any benefit.

5 stars? No way! They recently placed an ad for a doorman, from 5pm-
5am. 12 hour shifts 4 days Thurs-Sunday. $14.00 dollars an hour. Unbelievable! How cheap they are. I'm sure their apartments are a very expensive. Typical of these people, always looking for cheap labour.

5 stars my, &% (^% (%) %%) SS

No problem. Location itself is worth the price. Quiet tenants, clean common areas, nice flooring, family owned business and Carole in the office is just so polite, patient and responsive. She's a great asset to Chateau Lincoln for sure. That being said, I enjoyed my stay at Chateau Lincoln. Take care guys.

There are too many restrictions that are really annoying with big headache. They tell you those restrictions after you sign the contract and after moving in the building which is unprofessional. The tenant should be aware of those restrictions before signing the contract not after. They ask for 2 months rent in advance which is illegal here in Quebec. I was in the apartment 407 and I bought new furniture when I moved in, and there were cockroaches in the kitchen, and although they brought the exterminator many times, the issue was not fully solved when I left the building.

I lived at this location for 2 months last winter and have my next reservation ready for 2020. I wanted to share a positive review. I hope it might help.

First, I'm used to travel for business and I don't have much tolerance when it comes to bad night's sleep. I would give a B+ for the building's sound insulation and A+ for noise control (especially after 9: 00 PM). They patrol every floor and ask people to lower the volume and parties are not tolerated. Yes, Montreal is a party city. But if you plan to bring the party to your unit, you gonna be kicked out. I didn't see guests with alcoholic beverages in common areas either.

The building was renovated a couple of years ago and I enjoy the modern furniture and decor. Kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook. Housekeepers keep the place spotlessly clean. Shower water is super hot (as hot as I like it). Internet speed is okay. Cable TV = 25-30 channels. If you drive your own car to Montreal like I do (I live in NYC), I must say their indoor parking is safe with good surveillance. The lobby is steps to food and downtown attractions (it's 3 minutes away from Ste-Catherine, Maisonneuve, Fort, or Sherbrooke Streets). Enjoy.

Great stay for my sister from the UK and visiting our family here in Montreal. I wanted her to have the best experience during her visit and I was a bit worried when came the time for me to find a short term rental. But everything is as advertised and Internet (being important for her as she has to keep working remotely) is super fast and stable. I suspect they provide optic fiber of something like that. So well, thanks for not disappointing me.

Ok. Stayed there for 2 months and I have some comments: My unit was a bit smaller than I thought it would be and the decoration was minimal. But the apartment and the common areas were clean. 24/24H security has no tolerance when it comes to noise. So, no party animals here. Safe parking spots. Washing and dryer machines are in a great condition. Comfortable mattress (looks brand new to me) and hotel quality sheets and pillows. Fast internet and no down time 60 days straight. The lady at the front desk is lovely (her name is Carole). I took some pictures (of the apartment, not of the lady!).

I don't know about the other units but in mine (8th floor) I enjoyed the views from my windows. Montreal is such a nice city. I read an entire book sitting on the balcony. Nobody ever wants to leave Montreal.

Needed a place to stay for a while (I'm a Montrealer but windows, balcony, flooring and kitchen cabinets were being replaced or redone at my place). I visited several short-term rentals in downtown and selected this one for the price only but I must admit it came as a very pleasant surprise. My one bedroom apartment was clean like really clean. The housekeepers really do a good job there (bathroom, oven, microwave, utensils, etc.). Round-the-clock surveillance on all floors and security guards respond to any noise complaint in less than 3 minutes. The gym has basic equipments but almost nobody uses it, so it's quiet. They have a sauna too (didn't try it but I checked and it's clean as hell and smells real good). On my side, I preferred swimming in the pool every day (perfect water filtration, no waste or hair to be found, great maintenance). I think they don't mention it on their website but they have a small convenience store on the main floor if you feel like a snack or need other personal items. Housekeepers only come once a week but the ladies are really kind and hardworking workers. A $10 tip does the trick if you think you need extra cleaning during the week. The Lincoln is not a luxury place but considering the price and the quality of the management, a 5-star review is appropriate here.
21 June 2019 22:20
Brand new flooring, super clean apartment, and well organized kitchen (small but fairly better than a kitchenette). And I really enjoyed the quality of the mattress during my stay. It's also a secure building with a security guard on duty. On the other hand, you must know that the advertised pool is only available during summer time. And Chateau Lincoln is not the cheapest place to stay in Downtown Montreal. But my unit had great sound insulation and I could work on my laptop 24/24 7/7 without any particular noise/interference. So it's a 5 stars on my side. Thanks.

J'apprécie mon séjour ici durant les inondations (je fais actuellement partie des évacués forcés à Montréal). Très content de la propreté de mon unité actuellement ici et de ma proximité avec le downtown. C'est lumineux et tranquille. Je vous recommande.

Not the cheapest place in downtown Montreal but located on a quiet and very safe street. Decent sound insulation and clean.
Thanx guys. See you again in September.

Great location in the heart of the city next to Guy Concordia metro station. Quiet, clean, well furnished and designed rooms, big laundry room, super friendly staff, would totally recommend students and families to rent here. Rooms are reasonably priced too.
