Chauffage Pierrefonds' customer service is top-notch. They saved our Christmas by performing a miracle repair at my father's house, hours before the Christmas shut-down. After the holidays, they reached out to us to inquire if all was well. Needless to say, we ordered a new gas furnace from them and delivery & installation were quick & efficient. Thank you to Jean (miracle worker) and Corey for excellent service.
You cannot go wrong if you hire this company.

Had a technician come and change a thermostat he complained all the time he was here about a hot water tank in his way- left the furnace room on a mess and a week after his visit my ac died

J’ai fait installer chez moi un système de chauffage au gaz naturel & thermopompe Lennox par Chauffage Pierrefonds, à l’été 2018. J’ai aussi pris un contrat de service comportant 2 visites annuelles. Le thermostat qu’ils m’ont installé n’intègre pas les commandes de chauffage et de climatisation. Au printemps et à l’automne, il me faut faire moi-même les changements selon les aléas de la température… Cela protège semble-t-il les systèmes? Mon système antérieur, doté d’un thermostat Aube intégrait pourtant déjà les 2 systèmes et ma thermopompe a duré 17 ans…
Lors des visites sous contrats de service, je note, à l’occasion, des temps de service plus long dont on me facture l’excédent. Cela m’apparaissait questionnable mais les montants n’étaient pas exorbitants. En avril, au dernier verglas, ma thermopompe a cédé après 4 ans à peine. Je vais voir le gérant de service et lui-demande un estimé des réparations. Il ne veut pas le faire mais m’affirme que cela ne dépassera jamais 1500$. Il me mentionne aussi que l’intervention est plus efficace quand le technicien est accompagné d’un aide de service. Ils vont donc venir à deux. Le technicien y passe la journée pour me dire à la fin qu’il n’a pu réparer la thermopompe, qu’il doit revenir, et que le gérant de service va me rappeler. Aucun signe de vie du gérant. Je rappelle quelques jours après. Le technicien ne vient que 2 semaines plus tard. Le technicien me présente une facture de près de 3000$ pour la réparation. Lennox ne couvre que les pièces. Je vais voir le gérant de service pour obtenir des explications et lui exprimer ma frustation. Il n’a pas le temps et me dit qu’il a d’autres choses plus importantes à faire que de me parler. Je demande à quelqu’un d’autre les coordonnées du service après ventes chez Lennox pour voir ce qu’ils peuvent faire. Après 3 appels et 3 semaines d’attente aucun signe de vie de la part de Lennox, non plus.
Au final, j’ai perdu toute confiance en Chauffage Pierrefonds et vais faire appel à une autre compagnie pour l’entretien de mon système. J’en comprends que Lennox ne m’aidera pas non plus. Si c’était à refaire, je choisirais aussi une autre marque.

Purchased our Lennox Gas Furnace & AC in 2016. Today the Furnace stopped working. I called Pierrefonds Chauffauge for a service call. I was told that as I did not have a maintenance contract they could not provide service. The person I spoke to said they are like DOCTORS, and as such only provide service to those who have the maintenance contract with them. Be aware that if you purchase a product from this company YOU MUST agree to their maintenance agreement of a few hundred dollars a year, otherwise they will not provide any service to you. I am putting a formal complaint in to GazMetro Plus who referred them.

Extremely unprofessional. My elderly father, who has serious health issues, called the company to repair the air conditioner that they had installed. After multiple efforts to receive service, my father was able to speak to the owner of the company. Our situation was met with a complete lack of understanding and compassion, and the owner advised us to look elsewhere for service. I strongly recommend you avoid this company.

Great service and installation was done in a very professional manner. Corey helped me choose the right product and made me feel comfortable with the purchase. He was always there to answer my questions and ensured proper follow up when needed. Installation team was efficient and responded to my questions during setup. They worked hard to ensure the proper setup was done. The whole team met my expectations and I would not hesitate to deal with them again.

I bought the house wherein Lennox air conditioner and heating furnace was installed by dealer. Last year i approached the dealer for quote to inspect the machine as it was not cooling enough. They refuse to entertain the call and said we are very busy and not taking any new customer. It's just 8 years old machine and stopped working. I called other technician and they mentioned there may be leak in the coil inside or outside. Now cost to replace the coils is almost 70% of buying new machine. These machine suppose to run 15 years. That's what happen when work is done by unproffesional team. It has cost me new machine.

I have been using them for 2 years already for different services (maintenance, new thermopompe and new furnace). Last week, my furnace failed (it was 24 years old). They came quickly to diagnose the issue and recommended different alternatives. I decided to go for a new furnace.
The attention I received from their staff has always been great, from their maintenance personel, sales and installation team. But last week was an emergency and I would say their response time was the most valuable to me. They lend me some heaters and came to perform the job in no time. I really appreciate all the follow up from the momemt of the problem, during and after the installation to make sure things are in order. In moments like this, is when you truly appreciate to have a provider like them.

Called James on Sunday at 9: 00am because there was no heat in the house and he was here by noon and fixed furnace within 20 minutes. He is always courteous and efficient.

Very Good heating repair company for my Lennox electric furnace
Called for service on my Lennox electric furnace because I was very pleased with their repairmen in the past and still am.they are very knowledgable and know what they are doing and have always use them in the past
But now unfortunately they wont come to your home now unless you have a service contract with them due to covid: (
And they are not accepting any new service contracts even if you had a central air conditioning installed by them (which I did) and they have serviced my lennox furnace before when I had problems.but they wont come now.due to covid.unless i had a service contract in the past.
I said i would take the service contract so they would come but it was declined.again due to covid: (
Some days you just cant win.

Still I think they are a very good company to service your furnace.and.and i understand how they wish to limit their employees exposure to covid.
Hopefully in the future I will be able to again make use of their great service department when the covid situation goes away

About 15 years ago I purchased and got installed the following units from Pierrefonds Heating.
Natural Gaz furnace, Natural Gas water heater and a Central AC unit. I never got a service contact with them as Gaz met plus was offering this with the installation of new units back them.
Throughout the years I called on Pierrefonds Heating to do some minor service to my AC unit and was very satisfied with the level of service.
A few days ago, I called them to get an estimate on putting my AC unit on brackets or having it moved to the side of the house.
Up until this point I was satisfied with their service and professionalism, they had me as a customer for my next change over when ever that would have been.
HOWEVER, FOR THE SERVICE I WAS ASKING I WAS ANSWERED BY THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT THEY WOULD NOT DO THIS FOR ME BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THEM, AND THIS IS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
I FOUND THIS ANSWER UNACCEPTABLE AND FELT THAT THIS SHOULD BE RATED AS EXTREMELY NEGATIVE.
I WOULD APPRECIATE A RESPONSE FROM THE OWNERSHIP OF THE COMPANY TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THEY WOULD TAKE THIS DIRECTION WITH A SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

I've been a long time customer of Pierrefonds heating and found their customer service and maintenance service to be the best in the business. I bought 2 Lennox products from them 20 years ago and with annual maintenance services they perform like new. The whole team is as professional as it gets!

We have been a customer for a long time. Purchased a new furnace a few years ago and before that a maintenance customer on our old furnace. Salesman was great, however the service technicians and service manager are not professional. Out of many technicians I would say one was decent. Our air conditioner has just died in this heat wave and we had a very rude and messy technician come to our house (he was condescending and folded back a piece of a metal panel on the furnace and bent it back in place leaving the screws and duct tape detached) he left saying there was nothing he could do and that someone would get back to us. Day later, spoke with service manager to express my frustration and anger with the service call and he too was just as rude, refusing to speak with my partner and told me that he would only get the service report tomorrow due to covid (because they can’t touch the paper?) and said that he would only then call me back when he’s ready, have a nice day and hung up on me. Business must be good to treat people like that, covid or not. This is one client you won’t have anymore.

For your future client you should mention in the sales pitch that if you do not get a service contract with you you will not fix the furnace in the future. Because I do not have a service contract you can not come before January. For you to think that you can justify by saying we asked if you wanted a service contract and you said no. Future buyers beware. Basically if you do not pay for the rest of your life they don't want to here from you. I highly recommend that people go else where to buy a new furnace.

Le 18 septembre 2019 j'ai fait installé un système complet (Fournaise au Gaz ainsi qu'une Thermopompe). Réellement j'ai rarement vu une équipe de techniciens aussi compétents dans ma vie. C'est vraiment une équipe du tonnerre. En plus ils sont très minutieux lors de l'installation et le nettoyage de ma salle de fournaise était impeccable.

Pierrefonds Chauffage really came through for us today. Our AC unit quit yesterday. We no longer had a service contract with them, but they managed to get someone out to us quickly and even though it was an old unit, the technician was able to do the repair at a very reasonable cost. Very honest and nice technician. Many thanks.

Very satisfied! I selected Pierrefonds heating after meeting with several contractors and having received a recommendation from a family member to work with them. Most contractors were not willing to redesign my ductwork as it made their lives easier simply not to. However Pierrefonds Heating rose the the challenge! They redesigned it to a very satisfactory result, at a reasonable price! They also replaced my air conditioner and furnace with a new furnace and heat pump, installed and cleaned everything up in a one day turnaround. Everything was completed in an exceptional way! While the installation crew was very polite and professional, Pierrefonds heating really shined in their pre-sale and pre-installation support, answering every mundane question and always getting back to me very quickly. Ray and Real were a joy to work with and I would highly recommend their services to anyone I know.

A new furnace and heat pump system was installed a few years ago. The system was installed as we were moving into our new home so I unfortunately wasn't there to supervise the work.

This is the second time within 1 month that there has been a water leak into our home. First time we were very surprised but thought it might be a fluke. Then last night a lot more water came in. I gutted the insulation on our basement wall. Found out the water was coming in from the joint between where the electrical wiring / conduits go from inside the house to outside.

I investigated this further by inspecting outside. The devil is in the details.

The house used to have an external oil tank (we switched from oil to all electric) and to save themselves a big 5 minutes of work they just reused the old hole the oil tank was using (very close to the ground so as to be level with the bottom of the oil tank). Combining that with a poor caulking job leads to the aforementioned water infiltration and damage.

My point is that a conscientious and caring company / employees would have known right away that a hole that low could be problematic. Instead of doing the right thing (masonry bit + 5 minutes of rotary hammer), they opted to save themselves the trouble. And now we get to the live with the substantial repercussions.

My advice is find a company that treats your house like its their house and doesn't just try to minimize the amount of time spent fulfilling a contract.

Good pre-sale attention, very good installation crew, but lousy post-sale support. Extremely disappointed with the 2 post-sale interactions with this company after very recently buying a furnace from them. In this day and age, such poor attitude and adversarial post-sale encounters are surprising and unacceptable. They can (and most likely will) make all the excuses they want, but a persistent "cant' do" attitude just doesn't cut it.

Il n'y a rien a dire, Pierrefonds Chauffage est une compagnie serieuse avec des techniciens tres competents. Mais mefiez-vous tout de meme du monsieur qui s'occupe des contrats d'entretien, il vous racroche au nez et n'hesite pas a canceller votre contrat des que vous lui posez une question. J'ai eu la mauvaise surprise de me faire racrocher dessus pour lui avoir pose une question au moment ou j'ai voulu renouveler mes contrats d'entretien.

Called them a couple of years ago for quotes. They came and seemed nice. We decided to keep our current heat pump and furnace a while longer but were prepared to go thru this company when the time came for a new furnace and heat pump. Well the heat pump broke on the evening of Saturday, December 1st, 2018 and the emergency furnace heat was not working well either, so the house was pretty cold. We waited throughout the weekend and I called Pierrefonds heating on Monday morning several times only to get recordings. They stated that they give repair priorities to existing customers, which is understandable. I left a detailed message explaining that the house was cold and could someone please let me know if they could give me an appointment. I didn't expect them to come that day but figured I could get an appointment. What the recording should have said was that if you are only a potential new customer, you shouldn't bother leaving a message as they will NEVER call you back and don't really need your business. It is now, December 17 and we are in the process of purchasing a new heat pump and will NOT be buying from them. It seems to me that service should be of utmost concern not only for your existing clients but any potential new clients as well. No one wants to buy a furnace or heat pump from a company that won't even take a minute to return a phone call when the client needs heat.

The worst! Terrible customer service, terrible prices. They came out to fix a furnace of ours a couple of years ago and made the situation worse by breaking the circuit board. Refused to admit their mistake and take ownership. I ended up replacing the circuit board myself and had the furnace up and running problem free for years since my DIY repair. If I let them try to repair it a second time they probably would have broken something else. 2 repairmen were extremely rude and even the person on the phone at the office was terrible. Avoid this company!

We just had a Mitsubishi AC installed in our master bed room to complement our central heat pump-air conditioning system by Chauffage Pierrefonds. Everything went well, good installers, job well done and on time, no surprises. Very satisfied. Chauffage Pierrefonds was the only company around who was able to provide a Mitsubishi AC.

We finally got some warm weather and I had the opportunity to try out the Mitsubishi AC. I have to say that I don't regret it at all.it is the absolute quietest unit that I have ever experienced.it is a dream for a light sleeper.
Highly recommended.
