Chelow BBQ - Persian Restaurant Montreal

Went with my family, the food was amazing, their kabab and chicken were cooked very nicely on charcoal. The hospitality was great and their prices are very good.
Recommend the place highly for dining or for take outs.

I called on the phone to come pick up a meal for me and my family, communication was great. I came in 35 minutes later and everything was ready. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are immediately greeted by the most amazing staff. They are friendly and funny yet professional. Two of the staff helped me put the food in my car since I had a couple of boxes. I thanked them and then left to go home. In conclusion, the food was amazing, not expensive and quick to make. I’m definitely coming back and I would suggest it to people who love food!

We love Chelow BBQ! Everything is delicious, their meat is cooked to perfection, the mirza is to die for, their potatoes are the best (they really are), the owners are really nice! We are huge fans and come by regularly! Keep up the great work!

The service is accurate as always and fast, friendly and respectful staff, very delicious food.i recommend it.

The Kabab was okay but the filet mignon and the chicken were not good at all.
The filet mignon was hard and was missing taste the chicken just tasted like saffron. The potatoes needed a bit more flavour had to add more sumac to them.

Good food and very friendly attitude toward customers and non-customers. While I was waiting for my take out, a teenager came in asking if she could charge her phone. The owner unplugged something to make space for her phone chager.
I've tried their kebabs (safran chicken, koobideh, filet) twice which was consistently great. I had tried their stews during the pandemic when they only had delivery, the stews were amazong. But haven't tried the stews since they opened this new place.

My second time at this divine little restaurant. Today I ordered the chicken and filet mignon combo which came with rice and a grilled tomato………Superb.

Food was average, the quality of the meat (Koubideh) was very poor, tasted more like flour than meat, and the rice was dry.
The cleanness of the restaurant was not there, I ordered take out and once I arrived the gentleman working there was wearing a tank top with shorts that were literally falling down! His underwear was completely out, both workers looked extremely tired and sweaty, and out of energy. Not a good image for the restaurant at all. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Great food and amazing service, not much saffron on the chicken but still very good.
The only issue was that young kid on the grill, he couldn’t keep his grill hot and kept cooking meat and leave it on the side then cook same meat again …

My friend Recommended this beautiful Persian restaurant I went there for the first time today. I absolutely loved the decorations. I ordered the mix plate and the jujeh plate the best Persian Kababs ever it was cooked with perfection and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I Tried Cheatu kabab before and everything tasted old. This beautiful restaurent is the best quality food and fresh. The owner Mohsen cooks with passion and fresh daily meat. I also tried their dessert Homade Persian rice pudding. I recommend this restaurent without any hesitations.

Friendly staff who offered me complimentary tea while I waited. Food is made to order and can take a bit of time but we'll worth the wait. Will be back to try everything on the menu

Got take out, the beef was very good, the chicken was overcooked. Our favorite was the mirza, fasted like the Arab baba ghanoush but with a Persian twist. They yogurt drink was not our favorite, it's basically ayran with soda.

It was a pleasure meeting the owner. Mr. Mohsen is friendly and very welcoming. I tried their Koobideh, I was impressed by taste and quality. With me, they just gained another loyal customer!

Mohsen is a great owner, great customer service and he shares the same first name as me as well lol. It’s not the reason why I’m giving them 5 stars. The reason is that their sandwiches were delicious. I don’t need to say more. Go try it!
