My parents went to Chenoys today and some older waiter tried to F O R C E them to tip more than they wanted. A TIP is for GOOD SERVICE! You can't force people to tip more than they want, especially trying to take advantage of elderly people. You up your prices to ridiculous levels and than you harass "easy targets" to tip more than they want. I tell you this place has gone down the drain. It used to be a West Island haven, now it's turned into an overpriced piece of.

Expensive. Disappointment.

$29 + tip.for a handful of soggy fries, and a poorly sliced jumbo sandwich. Bread was soaked, fries undercooked and small portion. This place has lost a step.

Food was delicious for all 5 of us. The service was very good and friendly. The restaurant needs one very big redecoration. It looks stuck in the 90's and overly well used.

It was my first time at this restaurant. The place was quite spacious. The server was very attentive. They had a large variety of dishes to choose from. I had a spinach omelet. It came with potatoes, whole-wheat toast and a small bowl of fruits. It was the perfect portion size for me. In regards to the cost, I believe it's quite reasonable.

DONT GO! Went to Chenoys tonight 11/05/2023 as I convinced my friends… ordered 1 Mynokos plate 1 Cajun burger plate and 1 Gargantua burger plate! The Gargantua plate came back with uncooked pink minced meet with blood on the bun. I told the waiter if it’s possible to cook the meet a little bit more as the meet was uncooked. He insisted that it’s not uncooked it’s just fresh and juicy. I had to do the second cut cutting the burger in four and all the inside was red pinky… I called him again so he took the plate back to the cook and he returned and said, our cook says that if he brings me another burger then the meet will be the same uncooked meet, meanwhile my friends burger was fully cooked! He says either you take the same burger or change your order to something else! Worst service I have ever had specially in West Island! Then the waiter says to me if you want go and speak with the cook maybe he will do something for you? !? ! NEVER am I or anyone I know will step foot in that restaurant!

Great service, food is a hit or miss in my opinion. Smoke meat is delicious here, fries not so much, they taste like they're the frozen kind. Milkshakes are rich and thick, very tasty indeed.

Bathroom are in desperate need of update, 2 of the woman's washrooms are broken not to mention there is no handicap washroom.

The cheesecake is still as good from as it was in the 90s. The smoke meat sandwich are the best on the west island.love love love! Our waitress was also very polite and attentive

Si vous allez là-bas, prenez juste un smoke meat sandwish. C’est juste ça qui fait du sens! TOUT goûtait le repas congelé: frite, légumes, riz. Tu demandes de remplacer les frites par la poutine tu as genre 7 petits grains de fromage avec une cuillerée de sauce. Une joke pour 30$ le plat. Serveuse sympathique mais lente.

I am always served very well, chenoys is one of the best authentic Montreal restaurant for their smoke meet and poutine. The manager Sandy is very attentive to her staff and costumers. It's always my go to place for confort food.

I had a great experience eating at chenoy's today. The smoked meat plate was amazing and the cheesecake was so fresh! Sandra, the manager, took great care of our table and made sure we were served exceptionally.

Food is decent. Smoke meat sandwich was good and lasagna as well. Don't take the filet mignon, it was rubbery and didn't taste good. However, the reason I cannot give higher than 2 stars is that throughout the meal most cooks and waiters (not Jenna) were either not wearing masks or not wearing it properly. Honestly, how can you be this disrespectful of your customers. It's appaling.

I love working at chenoys the staff is unbelievable the food is great and my boss and family are so amazing I love working but being part of the staff is like family

They're operating a second restaurant under the same address (poutine west) under ubereats only!
They're selling 4 jumbo hot dogs for 20$ and they're the same size as regular ones the food is more expensive than what they sell under chenoys and was really disappointed in the food they're also scammers because the restaurant doesn't exist

The food is overpriced for how the food tastes.we asked for lean smoked meat (no fat) we had a lot of fat.the rice is bland and flavourless.the fries were pretty good.paid 29.95$ for the 'delicieux' plate (not sure if thats the exact price and correct spelling) and i only ate the fries and chicken along with the tzatziki sauce it comes with.i had one piece of smoked meat and it felt slimy so i didnt eat more.the bread wasn't that good either.overall i rate this place a 3/10 and i probably wont be returning.also to add there was only 2 workers. 1 waitress and 1 cook im not sure if thats how it normally is but both workers seemed tired and overworked.they were both super nice however.i left the restaurant still hungry after my family paid over 100$ and none of us finished our food.

One of the most traditional restaurants of the west Island. Don't miss the smoke meat fried rice, the Oscar Burger and the Vanilla Heaven cake. Always open for take-out or dine-in

Shared the Mykos platter, 2 lamb chops, chicken brochette, huge smoked meat sandwich, fries, coleslaw, pickle and tzatziki! Great place anytime but fantastic when its late and mist other eateries are closed. Covid-19 protocols in place so service was a little slow but that's just about everywhere.

There food is disgusting they always mess up on Uber eat orders and forget stuff also on Uber eat there food is one of the most expensive for nothing

Huge portions of delicious food! I had the trio, which comes with a smoked meat sandwich, ribs, chicken wings, coleslaw, and fries. It’s around 25$ for an enormous platter. The personal pizzas are around 20$ and enormous as well. My father had the smoked meat pizza and it looked absolutely delicious. The smoked meat is tender and flavourful.
Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant has a fun mid-20th century diner vibe to it. I’ll definitely be back.

One of my favourite Montreal style smoked meat on the planet! Always load up on my way back to Toronto. And don't look at the cheesecakes if you can't resist temptation.
