Nous y sommes allés un samedi soir en gros groupe pour l’anniversaire d’un ami. L’ambiance était bien, mais le service était extrêmement long. Personne de notre groupe a reçu sa nourriture en même temps, alors certains mangeaient leurs entrées alors que d’autres n’avaient pas reçu leurs premiers drinks. On penserait que si on dépensait beaucoup on aurait eu un meilleur service, mais pas du tout, on venait à peine nous voir dans ma section de groupe et il fallait tout le temps que j’accoste le serveur pour commander, mais ce n’était pas toujours évident. Il fallait toujours que j’accoste le serveur et c’était jamais lui qui venais nous voir pour commander ou nous demander si tout était beau.
Mon amie a commandé la salade verte, et comme vous pouvez le voir sur la photo, c’est littéralement juste des morceaux de salade. Pour 16$, c’est ridicule. Ou encore un extra de sauce au poivre pour 8$.
Les huîtres étaient excellentes, et les pâtes au homard étaient bonnes, mais dans l’ensemble je dirais que la nourriture est correcte pour le prix.
Bref, j’imagine qu’ils étaient clairement understaff pour servir notre groupe, mais avec la lenteur du service et la nourriture qui était bonne sans plus, je ne recommande pas plus d’y aller.
Peut-être l’expérience serait différente si vous y allez à 2 personnes, mais bon, je comprend que le restaurant est un classique montréalais, mais malheureusement je n’y retournerais pas.

The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the staff was nice even though in a place that charge this much you would expect a bit of synchronism when serving a large group and that one table will not be at the dessert while the other still hasn't received their starters.
They try to be a high quality restaurant even if the food is barely average but they charge an insane amount.
Same thing with drinks, low quality high price.
If you have a cigar lounge in your restaurant please use decent ventilation so that the clients don't smell the cigar smoke on the first floor while eating.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Out of the tremendous restaurants in Montreal, going there would be wasting your money.

I was pretty disappointed with my experience here. I reserved weeks ahead for a Saturday night in their cigar lounge. The day of my reservation, I called to make sure all is good and I got the confirmation.

My friends show up first, early, for the reservation, and the restaurant tells them there's no such reservation. Once I get there I ask them how my reservation disappeared when I had called earlier in the day with no issue. An employee goes up to check the cigar lounge and after about 5 minutes, he comes back and says that they were able to make space for us. I again ask what happened to my reservation, if they found it, and he says they had it but there wasn't room, that other guests had arrived and they just gave our reservation away. We were never late for our reservation so I don't know why they didn't honor it. We were crammed in and it was quite uncomfortable until other guests eventually started leaving.

The service was very slow from the waitress. It took 30 minutes for us to get our drinks that we ordered. We would have liked to order multiple rounds of drinks but because the waitress never came back to check on us, we only had one round.

We had also bought cigars. The waitress brought out the box of cigars and listed each one and their price. It was a little suspicious that they had ones marked Behike but priced at $120. Once the waitress left, another guest sitting next to us commented on the price of the Behikes, also stating it was suspicious how cheap they were and thinking that maybe they are fake. Maybe the waitress got the wrong price?

Either way, I'm pretty unimpressed and disappointed with my night here. Do not recommend and would not return.

C'était génial! Jy ai fêté mon anniversaire tout le personnel était là pour chanter. La nourriture est tres bonne je recommande!

En fin d'après-midi aujourd'hui 19 nov (23) avec ma soeur, nous sommes allés pour Montréal à table, nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Augustin qui c'est occupé de nous. Tout les plats étaient réellement excellent, un très beau menu en passant. Le service 5* de Augustin a l'écoute et très gentil. J'y retourne très bientôt pour essayer le menu à la carte avec mon époux.

Un grand Merci à cliff pour nous avoir effectuer un service impeccable pour fêter les 20 ans de mon frère. Un agréable moment passé à Montréal.

Les serveuses toutes en mini short, ce qui ne représente tellement pas la France, le vieux patron qui les tient par la taille, on a tout compris… Une attente extrêmement longue. Très cher pour la qualité, rien ne nous a plus. On ne te propose même pas si tu veux un autre verre de vin, pourtant, au prix du verre, ça serait rentable pour eux… un verre d’eau, il fait le demander et ne comptez surtout pas que l’on passe à votre table vous demander si tout va bien! Vous voulez un bon restaurant français sans tout ce tralala inutile? Allez manger au tire-bouchon à Laval.

Venus avec des amis pour déjeuner. Nous avons étés servies par Daniel et Cliff, le service était excellent de l'entrée jusqu'aux desserts. Une bonne découverte d'une véritable brasserie française à Montreal

It was a beautiful experience to try the tasting menu for Montreal a table.
The crab cake with avocado, cod fritters and the foie gras were the highlights for us.

This is the first restaurant we tried, and the good experience has us looking forward to the rest of the week. It feels like the drive from Waterloo was worth it.

Super service par Martin, comme d’habitude! Excellent menu dans le cadre de l’événement Mtl à table. Légèrement bruyant… il y a du monde, c’est tant mieux!

The location is great, the service is good but it's pricey and the quality doesn't match the price.
