Nice spot for Portuguese style brunch, we liked the food although it can use some more seasoning. They have a variety of vegan and Gluten free options, our waiter was super nice and accommodating. The place and the vintage vibes are nice, but they have a single bathroom and it can use some tidiness. Would definitely recommend if you’re ever around the area.

The Seafood stew was a joke. There was one grain of rice 0 shrimp 1 piece of calamari and 2 pieces of mussels. (The mussles tasted like salt water) all nestled in a huge bowl of canned tomato soup. Even the bread was not good.

A tiny, eclectic cafe with a great vintage vibe. Good service - very happy with how flexible and quick our server was. The food was very good although the common consensus was that it was lacking in seasoning. Their single bathroom could also use a serious clean and tidy up. Definitely worth a try though!

As someone from south India, I absolutely loved the food here. I tried the breakfast variant foodavec viande, it was a really good, it was a bigger portion and I had a full tummy! I would really suggest this place if you are visting Montreal. The price too wasnt expensive!

Nourriture absolument délicieuse et savoureuse. L’option végane que j’ai pu manger était un délice pour les papilles. Les autres personnes qui m’accompagnaient ont également adoré leurs plats. Une belle adresse victime de son succès. Le service a été rapide et très agréable. On reviendra!

Service was excellent. Portions just the right amount. Homemade chipotle sauce was great. We got the chorizo breakfast platter and the breakfast sandwich.

Wonderful little hidden gem! If you want to try a different taste, this spot is the place. The Portuguese breakfast was amazing, the presentation, the taste, the cortado.everything was great. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are on a street in Porto.

Amazing little spot with excellent service and delicious crepes! The natas were delicious as well. The staff accommodated our party of 5 wonderfully and were incredibly friendly. Excellent!

Delicious food all around! You have to try the hot sauce! We asked our waitress and she says it's made in house and they wish they can bottle it. Hopefully some day in the near future, they will! We wanted to try a place that's not your typical eggs benedict/French toast and this menu delivers just that! There was a short wait but the food is worth it! Would love to come back to try other things on the menu! Love that they have lots of vegan/vegetarian options as well!

The atmosphere is incredibly amazing. This is going to be one of my favourite places to go whenever I visit Montreal for sure. We tried the breakfast sandwich with turkey and cheddar. 5/5

Food was okay, but they didn’t want to seat me as I was alone, pretty much insisted I do takeout even though there was seating available. Cool looking place but not a good atmosphere from staff. Food isn’t worth it.

One of the many restaurants that makes me so happy to be alive. Every time someone comes to visit we go to chez Jose if not for a brunch to get a pastel de nata. Went here with my friend once and he said that the ones in Portugal are better but like ok duh like it’s not gonna be better than Lisbon so I guess if you’re expecting them to be better than Lisbon don’t go here but last I checked we weren’t in Lisbon so WHATEVER anyways the veggie sandwich changed my life but recently have been into the omelets.

The food was great but the service was abysmal. I have never received such hostile service in my life. I was greeted by a big angry man, that seemed to act like the owner of the place but im not sure if he is. He kept staring me down and was very selective of where I could sit even though the restaurant was almost empty. I was in disbelief the entire time i was there. At some point, an old lady sitting a few tables across from me needed help with directions. He prevented me from talking to her and guided me back to my table. While this was a few years ago i feel compelled to write a review after passing by the cafe earlier because the experience stayed with me. I hope that guy is not the owner and no longer works there.

I had a wonderful chorizo ​​sandwich, but without being peppered. If you like pepper I think you will like it.

I came here with my friend because
I heard it was a cool place for queermarginalized people. Then during our meal, the owner (or manager?) started making very transphobic comments, and then later on through out my meal he made a racist joke about someone on the street! The staff seemed quite uncomfortable yet no one spoke up to him. Will not be coming back and would not recommend this restaurant to bipoc/queer folks!
