Small store and selection but still incredibly yummy. If you have never been you must try! The chocolate is amazing!

As a fan of chocolate I wanted to try this brand to see how it ranks among my favorites. Their chocolate bars are very good and I highly recommend them. A bit pricey like Swiss and Italian chocolates.

Très bonne glace et produits du chocolat. Parfait pour ramener des souvenirs aux collègues ou faire des cadeaux à vos proches. Leur glace trempée dans du chocolat fondu est juste exceptionnelle! Attention à la taille car ça devient vite énorme.

Friendly staff, the cashier we had made sure we had the vegan dip to go with our vegan soft serve. The kooky version we had (intense 72%) was soo good! Even with the JFL crowds, the line didn't take too long.

Was recommended to visit by a friend - and glad we took his advice! Delicious ice cream dipped in delicious chocolate, what more is there to say? Aside from the fact that you can also buy chocolate bars, fondue, candy, of course.

Expensive but exceptionally delectable chocolate. What should have been an amazing memory turned bad when others were able to enjoy their desserts but since we didn't actually sit down before "closing" we were told to leave and eat it outside on a bench in the rain.  Another couple exited the store after eating their's inside at the exact same time we finished outside in the rain. $30 for two desserts and asked to leave.

If you want RUDEST SERVICE POSSIBLE IN MONTREAL, look no further. After you order your ice cream and dip toppings, you have to wait in the area so that you can see the servers dip them in chocolate and toppings so it looks cool. Well I decided the take some pictures of the process, and Leia (the server in the picture) looks at me and says, "You need my permission to take photos! " Then I'm like, "That's strange for tourist trap but ok I won't take them". Guess the photos are not special enough for me to ask permission like Im asking for her blessing. Then she looks at me and says, "Could you pull your mask above your nose? " in obvious retaliation. My mask was on my nose, but I pulled it way up and ask asked "Is this high enough for you? I have my vaccine booster proof if you'd like to validate. " She turned her back to me and said nothing. Wow what an experience! I'm not sure if it was that time of the month, but she was obviously looking for confrontation. I don't care how good any ice cream is or how good this business is/isn't, it just wasn't worth a fight with Leia. Sure takes the flavor out after such an experience. Wish her the best in her customer service journey.

Maybe I made the wrong choice of ice cream.but I needed to take off its non crunchy chocolate layer.

Excellent sorbet à la framboise. Le format bébé est définitivement un bon choix sinon ça commence à tomber sur le coeur. Remarquez que je l’ai pris avec enrobage de chocolat noir. Le chocolat était très épais à mon avis ce qui a fait que le tout était très sucré d’où pourquoi le plus petit format est l’idéal.

Emplacement au cœur du quartier des spectacles! Service amicale, le staff propose des choix selon nos goûts, ce que j’ai bien apprécié.

Very disappointed lately with Chocolats Favoris, it was the only place that I could eat an ice cream but not anymore.
Ice cream now is all Whipped Cream so many calories for no taste at all, dipping is so thick you could see the containers that don’t have the right temperature to keep chocolate warm and smother.

Yummy ice cream, cool flavors. Lots of fun. Ice cream was melting from the beginning and was very messy, but overall enjoyable. Sour candy dip didn't taste much like sour candy save for the few pieces of candy on it.

Still worth adding to your itinerary

Ice cream is basic, cone is.store bought, tastes like paper.but if you like really thick chocolate dip then it’s for you— don’t order large tho it’s really sweet and almost the size of a complete meal.

Oh what can I say, just go. Every trip to Montreal has to include three things. Lunch at Schwartz’s, bagels at Fairmount and ice cream at Chocolats Favoris. It does not matter what you get it is amazing. Go for the Tanzanian 75% dark chocolate if you are into that. Sizes are big, so keep that in mind. Every time I order the small and regret it. I will make sure I get the baby next time. ️

Great experience in this ice cream shop, great thick chocolate coating, lots of options, tasty cream, I am happy we don't have this shop where I live!

Toujours des desserts excellents. Il y a souvent une file d'attente mais qui passe assez rapidement.

It’s clean, looks amazing and the staff are very friendly. The products are mouth watering and choosing can become difficult if you don’t know what you want! I had a strawberry smoothie. It was good but average.

This is considered one of my best ice-cream and chocolate destinations in Montreal.

They have a various selections of ice-cream flavors, icing, fondue, chocolate bars, fine chocolate, coated delights, crunchy treats, and sorbets.

This location is very clean and the staff are very nice and welcoming.

The Dip actually makes a really thick shell around the ice cream more than any of the other ice cream places in the city. It almost not like you re eating ice cream with a coating.but an ice cream cone shaped chocolate bar with ice cream inside. Bravo.

The staff was very friendly. The soft serve ice cream was fairly mediocre, and coated in a thick layer of chocolate.

Leur chocolats chaud un vrai délice dommage que le service est froid non chaleureux le sourire c'est gratuit surtout en temps de fête

Toujours un plaisir de se gater. La boutique est très bien organisée pour être conforme aux mesures sanitaires.

Je sais pas qu'es tu voudrais de plus dans la vie que de la crème glacée trop cher pi beaucoup trop de chocolat. Btw la meilleure saveur c'est biscuit et crème. Si tu prends autre chose te CRISSEMENT une mauvaise personne. J'ai vu Pierre Lapointe avec Gilbert Lauzon juste en face? Complot? À toi de voir mon chaton.

4/5 car c'est une chaîne et rien ne m'a particulièrement accroché, donc pas d'expérience unique.

We really enjoyed the experience, however the chocolate dip was too thick and extremely sweet. We ended up tossing out half our cone. Do NOT trying the cotton candy dipped, it is so overboard sweet and will make you feel like puking. Their sizes are amazing for price you pay! However The baby size cone is the way to go if you really want to enjoy! The environment was awesome, except for the lack of indoor seating! Overall this place is awesome, the ice cream was good and plain which kinda off set the sweetness of the chocolate!

I will start with the venue, it is clean and has a few tables in and out of premises for clients to enjoy their ice creams. Decoration of the place is quite cute resembling a candy factory style. They also sell their own brand of treats and chocolate dip trademark. The concept of ice cream is quite innovative: vanilla, strawberry or chocolate ice cream dipped into a sauce of your choosing from the many flavours available. I will say if you are a chocolate lover you must definitely try all chocolate dip flavours for your ice cream. However, milk chocolate itself is very sweet to my taste so that you get sickly sweet quite fast which by the way I only ordered the baby size. Speaking of the vanilla ice cream, it was very generic did not have anything special neither in taste nor texture. Anyway, if you are visiting Montreal it is worth to try this place and be your own judge.

I took the small format of ice cream and I wasn't able to finish although it was sooo tasty.
The service is excellent, a bit expensive but it worth it. Thus I will come back and for sure I recommend

None of us could eat our ice cream. I was dying to have some ice cream and we decided this place looked the best in the area but unless you can handle a huge, overwhelming amount of sweetness I wouldn’t go here.

We got the dipped ice creams and the dip was so thick and rich one bite was too much. I decided to try and just eat the ice cream but the shell was so thick it ended up a mess and the vanilla ice cream was not the best so I decided not to waste the calories trying to eat it. All three of us threw our ice creams away. Maybe lots of people like this but it was way too much for me and my group.

I can’t describe how much I love this place, they always have great service and very tasty desserts.

I had no idea what I was getting into when I order one of their icecream cones. It was delicious! You have to visit this place.

Bon choix d’enrobages de qualité le chocolat noir 75% Tanzanie est très bon. Le choix de l base est un peu réduit (vanille chocolat ou bleuet) mais bon juste un peu trop sucré. La version mini me semble suffisante pour terminer un repas sans être ecoeuré. Le service est très agréable et courtois même en période de rush ce qui est rare! Une bonne adresse!

Dipping comes with too much frozen chocolate. I was not able to eat them all. Store has a very nice design and nicely packaged chocolates as well.

This is how you treat your customers?

Since i discovered this place I would normally go with my family at least twice a week when we walk home from Downtown. Last Saturday as usual, I went to the Complex Desjardins location but this time I had the absolute worst service. I order a dipped ice cream in a cup and simply asked to have strawberries on the side for my toddler to eat. This is the same as their dipped Sunday ice cream but I was told it’s impossible although I order this EVERY WEEK. I can tell the girl at the cash was new, so she inquired with a woman who seemed to be a manager and this woman told her with a lack of caring “it’s not possible” and that “they may have made a mistake in the past”. So I offered to pay any extra for strawberries on the side and she still refused although they sell 2 similar products with strawberries? ! The manager then went on to share my order with another employee (who had nothing to do with the situation) with such an attitude on her face all RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I understand it was a busy time of day but no one took the patience to offer me any alternatives. It was quite frustrating and embarrassing as I brought my sister there to try the ice cream place I always rave about. Never again will I return there. My husband and I have each spent close to $300 at this place this year alone! I thought it was a great business and I love their products but I’m so done! Paying customers deserve a quality service. They totally lost a loyal customer.

Had dark chocolate dipped vanilla cone with hazelnuts and Nutella like drizzle. It was very delicious but rather sweet. I got a petit (small) size and it was actually too big. My family liked theirs too but my wife thought her's (cookies and cream) was way too sweet. The chocolate dipped layer is really thick. The place is very clean considering all of the people eating and dripping ice cream in the store.

Great summer pit stop for soft serve ice cream dipped in melted chocolate. Soft serve wasn’t exceptional (really sweet/too creamy, didn’t taste like vanilla ice cream) but really enjoyed their selection of chocolate flavors - dark, dulce de leche, orange, coffee, etc.

Très bonne expérience, de temps à autre c'est un plaisir pour moi d'aller me prendre une petite glace enrobée de chocolat, elles sont vraiment délicieuses: par contre je prend toujours la version "baby" qui est largement suffisante pour satisfaire une envie de chocolat et de dessert. Aussi je prend la version avec un enrobage simple, car rien que celle-ci est déjà très sucrée. Avec les rajouts, ça frise à l'écoeurement, beaucoup trop de sucre! Au final, une glace enrobée oui, mais avec modération

Le prix est raisonnable, les cornets sont bons. Ne pas sous-estimer la grosseur des formats! Les "petits" cornets sont loin d'être petit (à moins d'avoir un grand appétit).

I also agree that the vanilla ice cream is mediocre at best. It is no different than any McDonald or Costco ice cream per se, gross and lack of texture. Our stomachs somehow did not feel well after a mini cone. Sorbets are too sweet. Dark Chocolate dip is fine but I’ve had better elsewhere. White chocolate dip way too sweet.

Wow. Crowded but they know what they are doing and moves fast.
You can select some of there options or choose your soft serve and then fondue and then additional toppings. They really pile the ice cream high on those cones so even the small is really quite a lot of ice cream, plus it's very rich. But so deliciousssssss
