CIBC Branch (Cash at ATM only)

Ça fait plus de 6 mois que leur porte est défectueuse et qu'on ne peut pas accéder au guichet automatique en dehors des heures d'ouvertures. C'est un manque de respect total envers les clients. Depuis 6 mois on doit faire plus d'un demi kilomètres pour aller à la succursale la plus proche uniquement pour utiliser le guichet.

Been having very horrible experience with this bank. Did not write me a proper draft for my money - tried to even have audacity to blame me for loosing it (rather than admitting they simply were incompetent) - and now taking 1 month. ONE MONTH.to try to get 400$ back. Imagine if it was even more money. Warning anyone who banks here.proceed with caution & keep tabs on your $$ because they do hope you will forget / give up and they keep it for themselves. Customer service NEVER calls back ether - 1 returned call out of 10. The amount of time lost from work, money lost, and stress caused due to their lack of organization / honesty shouldn't be a thing. You work for your money - not for a bank to steal from you? This isn't a charity case.

Had extremely negative experience with CIBC so far. After I deposited a 10k check through mobile app they have put an enormous 50k hold on my account which is significantly more than the total balance of my account. This effectively blocked all funds including those which were in my account before I deposited the check. Don't keep your money in their checking accounts.

Turns out that in the 21st century they actually process mobile check deposits manually and someone put a 50k hold on the wrong account. They refused to correct the problem over the phone and when I came to this branch they lied to me that they don't know who has put this hold and I have to go to the branch where account was opened. Eventually, I had to spend several hours and go to the other part of the city to resolve this issue. No compensation for the wasted time from CIBC.

This location has no tellers. This isnt an exaggeration, like actually no tellers. Big open space where the teller desks were, not under renovation just no tellers. What's the point of having a physical location? Why do I have a cibc account?

It says branch with ATM, but there is no ATM! If the bank is closed, you're on your own, unbelievable!

It is located just outside Square-Victoria Metro and though rather small the staff are friendly and keep things moving at a tolerable speed.
