Cinéma Princess

Je vais beaucoup au cinéma et là, c'est une vraie déception. Le bâtiment est un peu vieillot, mais ça, ce n'est pas de leur faute. En revanche, les salles devraient être remise à neuf. Les sièges sont petits et si vous avez des gens qui s'assoient devant vous, c'est foutu, vous ne verrez 1/3 du film. Quand on y est allé, le ménage de la séance d'avant n'avait pas été effectué. Les employés, ne prennent ni le temps de ramasser les pop-corns et les boissons, ni le temps de fermer les portes quand une nouvelle séance commence. Je regardais Hunger Games avec la musique de Dust. D'autant plus que le son était excessivement élevé. Sur des scènes d'actions je devais me boucher les oreilles! Je peux comprendre que certaines salles ne peuvent pas se moderniser, mais alors il faut ajuster le prix. Pour deux billets, j'ai payé $28. Pour le même prix, on avait des fauteuils américains qui peuvent s'allonger et un son incroyable.

Petite salle de cinéma. Pas vraiment insonorisé puisque nous pouvons entendre le film qui est visionné dans la salle adjacente. Le restaurant (snack bar) est dispendieux. 10,00$ pour une bouteille d'eau et un petit sac de bonbons. Plusieurs salles, plusieurs films, français et anglais.

I live near Cowansville, but we usually go to the theatre in Granby cause it’s bigger, so this is my first time coming here, cause Gran turismo was only playing in English in Granby for 1 day and very late, but Cowansville has it for many days straight and not too late, so that’s nice, and I must say I was not disappointed. It’s a small place but very cute, and the 2 employees there were just as nice as in Granby. The seats are surprisingly more comfortable. Went to see MI7 in Granby, and halfway in I started having a sore butt lol.but here this movie lasted over 2 hours and I was so into it, and I came out my butt feeling even better than before as if I had sat in a massage chair Idk about the other rooms in the theatre but we were in room #1, which I think might be the biggest based on reviews I read but the room was bigger than I expected for a small town of 15k population. Reminds me of my childhood theatre in Cochrane Alberta. Also idk what the reviews are on about, the service was great, the place was clean, the sound was spot on (we went to see Gran turismo so ofc we would notice if the sound wasn’t great cause a lot of car sounds and they were perfect, and it’s the best movie I have ever seen lol) and we did not hear other movies playing in the other rooms. Maybe all those bad reviews were from people who used other rooms, but we were in #1, which stands for 1st class, so no complaints here So, do I still think it’s worth more driving 20 minutes to Granby? Yes I do. But if they don’t have the movie you want in English on the time that you want, definitely try this theatre if it’s the closest one from where you live

A lil worn down and old, but our go to cinema for movies in English! We always prebook our tickets. Unfortunately the seats are not very wide and very snug tho:/

Small theater with a total of four rooms but service was amazing and the seats were very comfortable. Love that they have english movie options, definitely harder to find in the surrounding area. Will definitely be coming back!

First time there. Excellent experience. Everything a local cinéma needs. Support your local cinéma and give this old school theatre a try.
