Tom Pugliese for the incredible customer service. His incredible taste and patience with helping me choose the perfect stone for my new kitchen countertops and backsplash was immeasurable. The stone got installed today and it is perfection. The installers arrived perfectly on time and their eye for detail and pride of their work was so appreciated. So thank you Tom for making dreams come true. You are an incredible professional who made picking the right stone a truly fun and memorable experience.

Le service était médiocre avec la vendeuse qui ne retournait pas nos appels et messages vocals. Leur politique d’échantillon de 2po x 2po et que ça soit impossible de retourner les échantillon pleine grandeur serait à réviser alors que toutes les autre compagnie l’offre. Notre échantillon avait les 4 coins brisés et la tuile était irrécupérable. Désolé mais je n’ai pas été satisfait.

This place is amazing. Honest sales people, decent prices, large variety, beautiful showroom, excellent lighting, many resources to look at. They have products for both inside and outside. Toilets, tubs, sinks, faucets and tile for everything. I don't know about installation.

Mauvaise expérience. J'ai rénové ma salle de bain et ma cuisine en 2013 et j'ai acheté de la céramique pour ma douche et des tuiles pour le plancher de ma cuisine en mettant pas mal d'argent. Avec le temps je dois refaire ma douche car la céramique et très abimée et les tuiles de ma cuisine commencent a se dégrader malgré toutes les précautions que j'ai prises pour les entretenir. J'ai envoyé laissé des messages et fait parvenir des photos, mais je n'ai jamais eu de retour.

Nous avions deux salles de bain à refaire et cherchions un endroit où trouver tout ce dont nous avions besoin.quelle belle expérience chez Ciot! Maria Forcillo nous a servi de façon attentionné avec d'excellents conseils. Elle connait très bien les différents produits disponibles et est en mesure de nous guider dans nos choix. Et pour le ramassage, le service était courtois et efficace. Ma commande pour la céramique était prête pour le lendemain. Un client entièrement satisfait!

We recently undertook a renovation project including namely a wet bar, washroom and fireplace. Ciot has undoubtedly the most extensive and exclusive selection of materials especially marble. The service by Alessandro Chiarucci was impeccable in terms of timely collaboration, advice and patience. We would highly recommend Ciot if you’re searching for high quality and timeless beauty.
Their installation team did meticulous work as well.

Au téléphone, on fait mettre notre céramique de côté. Arrivé sur place, notre céramique est encore dans l'entrepôt. On donne le code à la représentante qui nous sort ensuite la mauvaise boîte en nous assurant que c'est la bonne. Elle n'accepte que de nous montrer un tout petit échantillon et nous dit que si nous ouvrons les boîtes une fois achetées, il était impossible de les retourner.

Nous avons perdu notre temps.

Mon architecte m'a recommandé ce magasin pour la variété et la qualité de ses produits. Sur ce point, je suis satisfaite. Ma grande déception relève toutefois du service prodigué. J'ai fait affaire avec un "conseiller aux ventes", qui devrait plutôt s'appeler un "preneur de commande". Je n'ai pas eu l'impression d'être vraiment conseillée durant mes rénovations. J'ai commandé au printemps 2022 plusieurs éléments en lien avec ma cuisine et ma salle de bain. La journée après avoir effectué ma commande, j'ai réalisé que le robinet de cuisine n'était pas compatible avec l'évier retenu (j'avais choisi un robinet avec chute d'eau, devant être placé entre les 2 bassines de l'évier.la chute aurait coulé entre les 2 bassines, ce qui ne fonctionne pas). Déçue que mon conseiller n'aie pas relevé ce point durant notre rencontre, je l'ai immédiatement contacté par courriel pour lui faire part de cet enjeu. Celui-ci m'a contacté environ une semaine plus tard pour me dire que la commande était déjà passée. J'ai finalement commandé le même robinet, mais sans chute. Le vendeur a toutefois conservé un dépôt de quelques centaines de $ pour le robinet avec chute, m'affirmant qu'il le vendrait d'ici les prochains mois et qu'aussitôt que ce serait fait, il me rembourserait ce dépôt. Je m'attendais à ce que ce dossier soit clos d'ici Noël, mais encore aujourd'hui, j'attends qu'on me rembourse. J'ai contacté le vendeur fin janvier ; je suis sans nouvelle.
À noter aussi des erreurs au niveau de mon comptoir de cuisine: un trou percé au mauvais endroit et une mauvaise prise de mesures, de sorte qu'il a fallu qu'on rentre une partie du comptoir dans un mur pour que ça fonctionne. Ces erreurs ont toutefois été prises en charge depuis.

Terrible sur toute la ligne. Oui, les produits sont très beaux.

Mais l'organisation du magasin? Nulle.
Les temps de livraisons? En années.
La politesse et le sourire? Sans commentaire.
La flexibilité quant aux commandes? Risible.

Épique. Digne d'un spectacle d'humour. Une vraie caricature.

Bon, un an plus tard, on a finalement fini nos discussions avec Ciot, je mets plus de détails:

- On a fait couper des tuiles 24"x12" en petites sections 4"x8". On nous avait promis que "ça va être super beau", "ils vont faire un biseau", "ça va avoir l'air comme si ç'avait été coupé en usine", "ça va être super chic". La photo est en attachment. Pas de biseau. Pas droit. Mon contracteur est parti à rire et m'a dit: "Je pose pas ça, c'est tout croche"

- Les robinets de bidet on prit 8 mois (!) à être livré, j'ai reporté la construction de ma salle de bain d'un an.

- Quand on a ouvert la boîte du fameux bidet, on a vu que le bidet était "biscuit" au lieu de "cotton". Genre vraiment beige plutôt que blanc. Évidemment, on s'est fait répondre "On peut pas le reprendre, c'était écrit sur la facture, il fallait checker, et anyway, ça fait un an". Nevermind que c'est l'employé qui a entré "biscuit" dans le système de commande. La seule note positive c'est qu'après plusieurs mois à s'obstiner, ils ont repris le bidet.

Très bonne expérience avec Alexis. Une personne à l'écoute de son client et qui prend le temps nécessaire pour vous répondre avec une réponse juste et équitable. Je vous recommande, lorsque vous appelez, de demander Alexis.

See lot of good comments so I decided to go but unfortunately, end up with full of disappointment. This store is no longer providing good services and has the reputation as it had before.
Customer service is pretty bad.
They made mistake on my order and don’t even apologize, making it is all my bad luck.
So much regret that I rely on the reviews and bought from Ciot.

Gestions des commandes pitoyables…Manque de rigueur dans leurs processus. Deux erreurs dans une seule commande de salle de bain qui entraînent des délais supplémentaires. Pathétique

Ciot installed our kitchen countertops and I don't have enough good things to say about them and their service. The gentleman Tom that assisted us with our purchase was very pleasant and professional. The team did the job that they said they would in the time frame they advised. I will definitely be purchasing from them again!

Ciot used to be an excellent source for granite, but our latest experience with them was terrible. The customer service was abysmal, with very little communication despite weeks of delays (I understand that covid has made life difficult for everyone, but that should be built into the stated schedule by now). Direct questions in emails to our service representative were ignored and calls to Ciot customer service went unanswered. After all of this it's very nerve-racking to pay in full only to be told that "someone will call you to schedule installation".

Beyond these customer-relations problems, the measuring and installation was sloppy and poorly executed. We ended up with a gap of almost 1/2" at one end of the slab that was supposed to fit tightly to the wall. The installers filled this gap with white acrylic (on a dark grey slab) and told me to paint it to match the wall. True story. And this after they gouged the existing wall with the slab (new compound and paint) and broke off a support that held the cabinet walls vertical.

The only reason that Ciot gets 2 stars instead of 1 is that they actually did manage to produce a piece of granite (albeit poorly fit) and didn't cuss at me at least while I was within earshot. I wish that we hadn't gone with Ciot for project and certainly hope never to deal with them again in the future.

Montreal deserves better than Ciot. Customer service is the worst. They already give you a delayed timeline for your purchase to arrive with the Covid excuse (which I understand but on top of it, when the item delays even couple more months (not weeks), they don’t even have the manners to send an e-mail telling that it will take longer and they are sorry for the unplanned delay. Once they get your order and money, they can’t care less. Worked with them twice, one for a big house and then a condo, very disappointed at the end. Wish didn’t give a second chance.
I hope some other business challenges them soon so they can be forced to upgrade themselves to 21st century or they can go out of business. Like I said Montreal deserves better.

J'aurai dû regarder les commentaires sur le cite avant de faire affaire avec eux. J'ai passé une commande le mois de novembre 2021 et j' ai dû aller sur place pour me renseigner des mes items car au téléphone, il ne retourne pas les appels. Mon mari s'est déplacé sur place et il manquait encore une item du totale de ma commande. Il a voulu donner encore un autre dépôt et il a dû attendre 30 minutes pour seulement payer une facture pourtant, au magasin, il y avait pas de client au comptoire de facturation. Aujourd'hui, je doit attendre encore jusqu'à la fin avril pour avoir la totalité des items. C'est complément ridicule d' attendre environ 6 mois pour réservoir une commande. Alors, si vous voulez faire affaires avec eux, attendez avec beaucoup, mais beaucoup de patience pour recevoir vos produits.

Impossible to get a hold of; which is worrisome when you need to pay upfront and be left hanging for weeks on end without clear direction on if/when they can follow-through with the contracted project.

J'ai commandé de la céramique et laissé un dépôt (non remboursable) en septembre 2021. La commande devait m'être livrée en octobre. En décembre je n'ai pas ma céramique et personne ne m'a appelé pour faire un suivi. J'appelle à plusieurs reprises car la ligne est toujours occupée et personne ne retourne mes appels. On me dit que la commande arrivera dans un mois. Nous sommes maintenant en mars, 6 mois plus tard, et je n'ai toujours aucune nouvelle. J'ai laissé un message vocal il y a une semaine et je n'ai pas de retour d'appel. Pour le prix qu'on paie je considère qu'il y a un gros manque de respect et de considération. Sans compter les 5 mois de retard sur la commande.

Very happy with the support from the very experienced designer/sales person Maria Forcillo. Maria has been handling our requests for over 10 years now and she always amazes us with the effort she gives, above and beyond what we expect. She saves us time and gives us the quality we need. Given the difficulty we face in normal house repairs (labor, delays, supply), we are happy to count on CIOT, especially +CIOT's Maria Forcillo in helping us achieve our goals. Definitely another happy Client!

Je donne une étoile car je ne peux pas donner 0. C’est de loin le service le plus médiocre que j’ai reçu. Les designers en sont découragés. Premièrement, simplement obtenir un minimum de service et de suivi de la part du représentant Tom Pugliese est presqu’impossible. Délais interminables. Erreurs lors des coupes des dalles de marbre. Erreur majeure de prix par rapport à la soumission fournie. L’erreur vient du département des soumissions lors du calcul du nombre de dalles de marbre nécessaires. Ils m’ont avisé à quelques jours de la date d’installation (après 6 mois d’attente). C’est une façon déguisée de prendre les clients en « otage ».

Jamais plus je ne ferai affaires avec cette entreprise. Pensez-y à deux fois avant de leur confier votre projet.

Accueil vraiment froid, personne pour m'aiguiller dans le magasin, il a fallut que je demande moi même à quelqu'un.
Si on est pas habillé chic, comme eux m, nous avons pas d'importance!

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre expérience avec Ciot! Nous y avons retrouvé un grand choix de matériaux de qualité, en céramique, dalles, plomberie pour la rénovation de notre salle de bains. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'aide que nous a apporté Christine Naccache, conseillère aux ventes, son expertise, son souci de répondre à nos questions et exigences avec diligence et en temps opportun, son efficience, sa disponibilité et sa patience!

Service à la clientèle vraiment mauvais. En particulier pour récupérer sa commande, comme de nombreux avis le mentionnent déjà. Dommage!

Je suis un peu mitigée quant à cette entreprise. J'ai eu un excellent service de Francesco pour équiper une salle de bains que je rénove. Francesco a été formidable: à l'écoute de mes besoins, bon conseiller. MAIS il ne pouvait pas prévoir que la base de douche (970, $) ne pouvait pas être installée. J'ai donc dû la retourner, ce que j'ai fait dans les 5 jours suivant la livraison. La base n'avait pas été déballée, elle était comme neuve et je me suis occupée de la livraison-retour. On m'a chargé 25% du prix d'achat pour le retour! J'avais dépensé plus de 10 000, $. J'ai tenté de raisonner un prénommé Mario (responsable des comptes) en lui disant que c'était nettement exagéré, il n'a rien voulu savoir. Alors petit conseil: prenez votre temps pour prendre une décision quand vous achetez chez Ciot parce que 25% pour les retours c'est vraiment beaucoup!

All I can say is you should NEVER buy your counter tops or backslash at CIOT, they are more expensive then other places and service is extremely slow. Took them 3 months to install my counter and backsplash, they use 3rd party installer's. Absolutely frustrating experience, I regret ordering from them. You can get faster cheaper service in other places.

J’ai refait le plancher de ma salle de bain. Avec les conseils de la vendeuse, nous avons choisis une tuile très simple 12x24. ERREUR! Même si nous avions bien spécifié Salle de bain, donc le moins d’entretien possible, juste marcher dessus laisse des marques. J’avais bien demandé s’il fallait sceller. J’ai donc un beau plancher chauffant toujours pleins de marques de pas.

The management and customer service of this shop is one of the worst I ever had to deal with. I bought tiles worth $1000 which after 3 months I wanted to return because I could not do the renovation because of the lockdowns and virus problems with my contractor. They refused to take them back telling me about their 30 day return policy which was never mentioned to me nor was on my receipt or invoice. The shop already has bad reviews which I wish I read before buying there. So, be ready for bad customer service if you decide to buy from them.

They have a really beautiful selection of tiles. However, their customer service was 0/5 for me, rude and lacked knowledge on metric conversion.not a good combo when you're selling tiles and working with the public.

1 étoile car je ne parviens pas à en mettre 0. Service à la clientèle de très mauvaise qualité, suivi client inexistant. N'essayez pas de les joindre par téléphone, vous allez devenir fou (boites vocales pleines, transfert dappel dans le vide). Nous avons payé une commande, sommes venus 10 jours après comme convenu pour le pick up et.la commande n'avait même pas été placée. Les tuiles arriveront dans quelques mois d'après un vendeur totalement désintéressé. De très beaux produits sans doute mais ils n'arriveront peut être jamais jusqu'à chez vous.

Nous avons remontré Maria Forcillo une première fois en 2013, pour un projet de rénovation de cuisine. Très professionnelle et patiente. Le résultat est superbe. Par la suite, elle nous a fournis les meilleurs conseils pour la rénovation de deux salles de bain complètes. Au cours des 7 dernières années, elle a toujours été souriante et attentive.

Si vous voulez être certain d’être regardé de haut, servi avec dédain et vous sentir comme un numéro, allez chez Ciot! Le pire service à la clientèle de leur industrie — et de loin.

Worst ever customer service experience, from beginning to end. Showroom representative have very limited knowledge of the products they are selling and are falsely confirming product availability.

I went it when I started planning the renovations of my kitchen. I was assigned to Antea who did a great job a giving me different options and great advice on style. The showroom is well designed and the staff very welcoming. I am sure other sales reps are great but I would recommend asking for Antea.

We've used CIOT several times over the last 10 years; always happy. Came in again this November for another bathroom project. Didn't know what we wanted prior to arrival, but we worked with Antea (one of their sales consultants) and she helped us developed a great concept. What we couldn't find in store, Antea sourced from catalogue. We were very happy with Antea's help and would definitely seek her out if we had another project to do!

J'ai eu une très belle expérience avec Antea Bini. Elle m'a aidé dans les choix de ma céramique de ma cuisine et m'a conseillé aussi pour d'autres choix dans la robinetterie. I had a great experience at Ciot when renovating my kitchen! I am arguably the most indecisive person in Montreal and Antea was kind and patient to go through the images of my construction and offer valuable advice on what countertops to get. She educated me on the different properties of the various materials (granite, marble, ceramic, etc.) and also had a good aesthetic eye for what look would work in my kitchen. I will certainly return when it's time to do the backsplash.
