Nourriture, accueil non professionnel et méprisant la clientèle! Ne prends pas de réservation pour la st patrick, arrivé tôt pour avoir la chance de trouver une place, resto vide où tout est réservé! Pour un pub qui prend pas de réservation, c’est se moquer du monde.

We had a bad experience before Covid, so we tried again, to give another opportunity to the place…. Definitely it is bad. The place looks good, but that’s all. Prices are high, music doesn’t follow the style of the place, the waitress took time to take our order… then 20 minutes after came to say that there was no stew (which is the differentiator… poutine we have everywhere), so… standard expensive food, and at the end there was no printed bill (corporate card) and no possibility to print it (come tomorrow if you need it was the answer) When Paying, off course the tip was not going to be 15%! (the service was not good) I got a lecture from the waitress! What a displeasing and expensive experience! There won’t be a third time.

Nous avons passé une très belle soirée entre amis. Ambiance typique d’un pub, accueil hyper sympathique, très bonne nourriture et que dire de Jessie qui nous a offert un service hors pair. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute.

Rien à dire, tout était parfait. La cuisine est excellente et le service très bon malgré le fait que la serveuse était seule sur le plancher. Je recommande fortement.

Nous nous sommes dirigés vers ce pub un peu par hasard, et on ne le regrette pas! Le service était exceptionnel, la gérante nous a fait passer une super expérience! La nourriture était top, j'ai vraiment apprécié ce moment. Je repasserai pour sûr:)

Beau petit pub dans la pure tradition irlandaise. Bonne variété de bières mais pas de Kilkenny une bière irlandaise pourtant populaire. Un des meilleurs fish and chips que j'ai mangé. Endroir idéal pour un repas entre amis ou pour une soirée de bavardage car la musique de fond irlandaise n'est pas trop forte.

As an English (with Irish descent) visitor to your lovely City I was quite shocked to see this on a menu? There are no doubt many visitors to this fair City who are Irish and have had first hand experience in car bombs and lost family members.

In these times do we really need this? The management may still be pro IRA but this won't do. Please take it off the cocktail menu.

Le service et la nourriture étaient bien! Bon pub, bon ambiance. Le serveur était vraiment sympathique. Je le conseille.

L'irish stew était de la soupe où nageaient quelques morceaux de viande que ma fourchette avait du mal à piquer. Le serveur pas aimable et s'assoit à côté de vous en attendant votre choix! Désagréable! Passez votre chemin!

Dégueulasse. ça goûtait la vieille graine pas lavée.celui qui s'identifiait comme étant le gérant avait une attitude prétentieuse avec les clients et une partie de son staff.nous avons passé un moment désagréable.plus jamais.

Definitely has a proper Irish pub vibe! Loved the staff and the food! Small menu but the fish n chips did not disappoint! Pint of Guinness from the tap topped off the experience:)

Really did not like the food at this place. It took way too long to get our food and when it arrived, was a bit cold. Not recommended.

We've been walking around all day and decided we had earned a beer so we popped into the bar for a Guinness. Then we spotted the Death Valley poutine on the menu and couldn't resist. It was delicious!

Super service! Charles, le nouveau gérant, est très attentionné. Passionné de Guinness, la bière est servie dans la pure tradition irlandaise. Le ragoût est délicieux, de même que le fish and chips. Je recommande:)

Burger week Burger mélangeant le sucré-salé très bon et différents de ce que l'on prend habituellement. Pour le reste beau menu choix de bière correcte et belle ambiance.

Accueil chaleureux, Alex et Magui au commande vous guideront pour une belle soirée bien ambiancé.
Très bonne cuisine en passant.

Conclusion: avoid eating there outside office hours.

SECOND TIME (Saturday evening) : fish & chips served with cold fish. On the second try, the fish was (just) warm and the breading a bit soggy and more oily. Very basic coleslaw instead of our salad from the first time. Waiter didn't refill our water once. Seemed a bit frustrated too that we didn't order beer.

FIRST TIME (weekdays, daytime) : Tried the Fish & chip; better than expected. Usually there's too much breading with too little fish, but this one although the breading is thick there's also a lot of fish (aiglefin/haddock) meat. The dill based sauce is awesome and the fries are crispy good. The salad is more symbolic than anything but better than the single decorative salad leaf they usually serve. Bit pricey, we shared the three pieces and left 33$ poorer (after tax and tip).

We went here a couple of weekends ago on a Sunday afternoon not too far from closing time. The place wasn't too busy but still had people coming in.

We ordered a couple of irish stews, a couple sausages and some drinks.

The stews were actually really flavorful with nice big pieces of tender lamb and not too much potatoes. They were very hearty however a bit salty. The soda bread served alongside wasn't too dry and worked very well with the broth.

The stews were served with a couple salads that were nice, light and crisp.

The sausages were well cooked and crispy. The Swiss cheese filled sausage was really tasty and had an excellent texture. The bratwurst however was a light bit chunky and a bit greasy but worked very well with the Dijon dip that came alongside.

All in all, this was definitely a really nice place and we'll definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu.

Bon pub Irlandais dans le Vieux-Québec! Service rapide même s'il y avait peu d'employés sur le plancher le soir que nous y avons mangé.

Neat Irish spot considering where it is located. The live music was solid and not crazy loud. Staff were friendly and the beer was cold. We ordered Nachos and well, they will go down as the worst we have ever had. Ice cold, top to bottom; no real cheese just cheese in a can. No flavour to speak of. All for $14. Not good. Thank goodness it was St. Patrick's day and we could see past the food. 1

Bouffe excellente, ambiance feutré classique des pubs irlandais, service parfait! Je recommande au gens qui sont en visite dans le vieux ports et les alentours!

Belle ambiance par contre il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix de bières et de plats Irlandais. De plus, ils n'avaient plus certaines bières indiquée dans le menu. Allez-y pour l'ambiance plaisante mais pas seulement pour la bouffe et la bière car c'est quand même cher.

A real underrated gem! The staff is friendly and the poutines are out of this world. They also have great beers.

Belle petite place, pour manger ou prendre un verre. Si vous aimez le pub Galway, vous aimerez surement le Claddagh puisque c'est le même genre d'endroit et surtout le même propriétaire.

Serveur hyperactif pas présent à notre table quand le resto était vide, bonne nourriture et bonne bière.
