Always a great golf course with some challenging holes.

Greens were a bit rough this year, but staff were friendly and helpful.

Great golf course! A real hidden gem in the Ottawa area. Well worth the drive to play this course. Conditions were fantastic and rates were reasonable. Clubhouse is a classic old school with lockers but kept in great shape. I've been up here for a few rounds a couple of years in a row and I will be back for sure!

I was expecting this place to be of a high caliber however I was not pleased with some aspects. First, the shower pressure was abysmal being non-existent. The tv remote wasn't working and there is no way of turning off the bedside light without getting out of bed and hitting the switch. There are not a lot of spare plugs for charging electronics as well. The breakfast was good except for the bacon which tasted old and left to dry out and then reheated. The grounds are very nice and picturesque. I also had to call the front desk as connecting to the wifi was not functioning and they gave me the alternate connection method. I feel this should have been offered at check in.

Super belle track de golf! Propriétaire très sympathique! Belle proximité entre les joueurs et la direction. Layout très intéressant et original. Malgré la distance je prévois assurément y jouer une où deux autres rondes de golf là bas cet été! Conditions assez bonne pour le début d’année avec températures difficile!

Magnifique parcours bien entretenu, allées et verts en très bon état. Layout a couper le souffle et différent a chaque trou. Accueil très chaleureux. Dommage que j'ai oublié mon cellulaire pour prendre des photos. Je le recommande.

J'ai adoré! Le design est super! Entre champs vallonnés et incursions en forêt sur les flancs de collines, le relief fait entièrement partie du jeu ici, les verts sont excellents. Aucun trous de Clown, et ça se joue très bien. Le replay était pas cher, j'ai donc joué 36 trous dans ma journée. C'était ma première fois mais je me sentais en terrain connu, c'est à cause que l'architecte est Wilson, lui même élève de Thompson, les défis évoquent Arvida, Montebello, Lachute par moment. Merci au personnel sympathiques pour l'accueil et le service!

Magnifique parcours, très bien entretenu…. Les verts sont d’excellentes qualité!
Personnel aimable et courtois partout dans le club.
Je recommande fortement pour une belle expérience de golf!

Went early may, was told course was in the best shape its been and it was average at best. A lot of dead fairways and greens were long and patchy. Nice and challenging course though. Fun to play

Even though it was slightly outdated, for the price it was well worth the stay, lots of free winter activities

Nice staff and the course has a lot of potential given the landscape and great views. Unfortunately the course is in terrible shape. The greens are extremely spotty and bumpy. It's a shame as the course came recommended from friends who had played in years past who said it was a great track.

Definitely won't be back any time soon if unless they invest some money in repairing the greens. Was not worth the 60$ on a Saturday.

I would like to share my bad experience at Lac Carling. I bought a voucher at the Golf Show in 2019 which included 1 night stay for 2,3 course dinner for 2, breakfast for 2 and unlimited golf for two. We were not able to use the voucher last year so it was extend for the 2020 season. The director of the hotel would not honor the voucher as outlined even though we provided the email which indicated that the voucher was valid for the season 2020. We had to pay for our dinner, we had to pay for the difference in price of the room, as well as, we had to pay for an upgrade, which we did not request, because we had a dog and pet friendly rooms were only on the first floor. We bought this voucher in the past and never had to pay any additional fees, it was all inclusive. This was supposed to be a two day golf get away for my husband and I and it turned into a very disappointing experience. The golf course on the other hand honored the unlimited golf, the owner was very nice and accommodating, he even came around and handed water to golfers.a very nice touch. So I would recommend the golf course very highly but the hotel do not recommend. I will never stay there again.

Wonderful establishment in a gorgeous setting with friendly and helpful staff at very reasonable prices. The food was 5 star and the service was impeccable. A MUST!

This golf course is mainly interesting due to it's scenery and landscape, if you ask me. Every hole is unique and challenging, nothing like those dull courses that are all flat and straight. Also well maintained. A little far from Montreal, but worth the trip. Staff is also very kind and friendly.

Stayed here for two days. The resort is showing signs of decline, yet it maintains a 4 star rating. We went there specifically to play golf and the course is in very poor condition. The course did not survive the 2018-19 winter and in August there are at least 10 greens that are barely playable. It is a really nice layout, but I will wait a year before I play it again.

Superbe lay out.mais malheureusement ils ont perdu leur verts en début de saison à cause de l'hiver 2018/19.et ils sont pas encore tous beaux.

We love the resort and golf and plan to return this month. Food was amazing and breakfast buffet was the best! Overall, great value compared to anywhere in the Laurentiens!

Deux étoiles ce n'est pas beaucoup mais c'est pour le terrain de golf seulement. Les verts du premier neuf sont atroces. Pour ce qui est de l'hôtel, les chambres sont vieillotes mais très propres, le lit super confortable.
La cuisine du chef Julien est tout à fait remarquable, BRAVO, quatre plats différents et tous aussi bons de l'entrée au plat principal. Le personnel est très gentil.

J'abonde dans le sens des derniers intervenants.que j'aurais dû lire avant de payer 62 dollars pour jouer sur ce qui a toujours constitué l'attrait premier de ce parcours, i.e. Ses verts. Je connais l'affreux début de saison (gel, dégel, pluies abondantes) 2019 et je compatis envers les surintendants de ce monde, mais vu l'état pitoyable de certains verts, il eût été fort simple d'octroyer un rabais (promotion 101) pour une prochaine visite, ce qui aurait mis un peu de baume sur la préparation de notre pèlerinage annuel que nous faisons depuis plus de 35 ans. Il va sans dire que cette année, nous irons voir ailleurs. Visité le 23 août 2019.

We played golf on June 13,2019.
I have been playing golf for over 40 years and have never seen such bad greens. We were not warned of the bad conditions by the ff and the price charged for such bad conditions is ridicilous!

The hotel is beautiful, the lake is beautiful the accommodations are fantastic but there is a couple things they could do better. There's an indoor pool but not an outdoor pool and at the lake even though they have some boats they could have lounge chairs. I still gave the hotel 5 stars because if you play golf this is a perfect hotel for you
