It all started with a single phone call to Kara to discuss bringing my pregnant fiance to Canada (a Filipono resident working in kuwait).
A lofy goal with alot of paperwork and questions involved.
After our wedding the paperwork was initiated by Lithika and Theodora.
Overall very professional, always kept us up-to-date on our file status, any communication was responded in a timely manner. I highly recommend this law firm. Hands down the best.

I have only amazing things to say about Cohen Immigration. I worked mostly with Daniel Levy and Brianna De Coteau, but there was a large team there who helped with our application. They were incredibly knowledgeable about work permits and visas and presented lots of options. They were organized, sent one list of documents needed, and then got our application reviewed and submitted quickly and efficiently. Communication throughout the process was great too. I started this process off with another consultant who took 5 weeks to do with this group did in 5 days, and I'm THRILLED that I switched over to Cohen before our time ran out. Our work permit went through without any issues and our international employee was able to cross the border with approved documents in hand. I can't thank the Cohen Immigration law firm enough. From my first consult with attorney Daniel Levy I knew I found the right place. He answered all of my questions and took the time to truly understand my concerns. I will be referring them to friends and family.

I spoke with someone from this law firm. I was seeking insights for my citizenship application and conditions for which time abroad counts as time in Canada as their website seemed to suggest that exceptions could be made for certain cases which seemed to apply to me. Instead of asking questions to understand my situation, the consultant (Daniel Levy) blew up on me about "why are you even bothering to try to count your time away towards your citizenship". At that point, I was completely turned off as I realized that there was no real discussion happening. Lousy attitude, lacking total compassion. Online resources great, go elsewhere for personal consultations.

The PR application process is very fast here. They will try to answer all your questions and ensure your profile does not have any loopholes. They will provide you guidance at each step of the process. Real good experience with the experts here. I got my PR in 5 months after application.

I called Cohen immigration as I had a few questions regarding immigration and visiting from the US. They got back to me within the hour and were patient in answering all of our questions and most importantly gave us peace of mind. Worked with them for our Express Entry application. They proved to be very reliable, super responsive and helpful (God knows I can ask 3934920 questions per minute - and they carefully answered all of them). They took over all the stress of "oh my God, am I doing this right? Is this document in line with the requirements? Am I missing something? Can I do something better? ". Even after our collaboration ended and we received our Permanent Residence, they were still there to answer my follow-up questions. Highly recommend:)

Cohen immigration law are scammers they will take money from you and never process your application.

Whole team was very helpful and checked all the documents in detail, Claire was even calling me to remind about the deadlines. My application was approved <3 just one thing to consider, just before I paid the first fee and signed the contract, I called the hot line to ask some questions and I received incorrect information, for instance I asked if my IELTS Academic that I had recently passed was ok for the application and the person on the line said yes, which is actually not correct, only General IELTS is accepted. Once I paid the contract fee I received detailed information about the documents and I was asked to make even tiny changes to my documents which could cause problems to the application, things I could never guess that where important, so I am happy I chose not to go through the process independently. My father’s super visa was denied due to unknown reasons but Cohen Immigration lawyers took our case and re-applied for the super visa. They went thru our documents thoroughly and made sure that all the relevant information was submitted accurately. They communicate with you on regular basis and make sure that you are appraised of the various steps which were taking place regarding your application. They are not there to give you good advice, wasn’t successful to reach them via phone almost never even when its urgent! Would not recommend them to anyone

Meagan, Claire and Theodora were amazing so perfect, immaculate and organized!

We 1st hired this firm in 2009 to file our PR. The previous company we had hired (WICS.sardar owned co.) had totally messed up my straightforward case over simple thing whether to make my wife accompanying or not. I preferred not and as experts they should have prevented me from giving that choice because it reduced my points. They falsely assured me that I still had enough points but I got rejected for half a point! And they had ripped me off for $3.5k. Imagine with both husband wife having professional and PG degrees and years of experience it was a shame. Every few months they would have a new paralegal which was a nightmare. When I went to CanadaVisa they charged us much less. Their approach was different and they present the case whereby you get max points. They were very thorough in analysis with good attention to detail (you still have to be vigilant, always check paperwork for accuracy). The paralegal I worked with in 2009 is still there and recently helped us file for citizenship also. Very professional and very prompt in communication. Never had any issue. In my opinion it is best company to work with for all your canadian immigration needs.
