Stopped by after seeing the amount of positive reviews. First impressions, I loved the look of the restaurant we came around 12PM and it looked empty inside. The customer service was great the waitress was very friendly and helped us out quick. Food was really good, we got a pizza and crepes. The pizza was a little crispy, dough was fresh, and garnishing was spot on. The crepe on the other hand was soft and not to heavy on the stomach. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone stopping by from Toronto you will definitely not be disappointed.

Came here for a light bite on a Sunday. There is outside seating only under the covered patio. No indoor seating. The restaurant is on the corner of a very busy, touristy square and the patio is great for people-watching and provides shade on a hot summer's day. Service was great and the food good. Got a vegetarian pesto crêpe and a québécois beer, which was light and refreshing. Our waitress provided us with extra plates and cutlery for sharing our dish, which we appreciated.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had: Goat cheese, tomato sauce, arugula and cherry tomatoes with a side of Caesar salad. Service was nice if a bit absent. The patio overlooking the square was stunning, with beautiful hanging baskets that provided alot of privacy.

Took 15 min to get a takeout coffee on a day where restaurant is a third full. Service is not impressive

Great food. Reasonable prices and accomodating staff in the openair terrace. We were six. A large salad and an XL pizza was enough for us all. We asked for the pizza to be half half types. No problem. Shoutout to our hard working, humorous waiter Eugene.

This was such a cute spot in Old Montreal, we had the montreal pizza and it was perfect! Our server was also very kind and staff overall seemed friendly

Eugene served us today and he is just amazing! We had a visitor from the US and he made our lunch time so much fun! One of the best pizza in Montreal and service is great! Thanks again Eugene! We will be back!

Dropped in for a quick lunch. We sat on the patio. Great place to people watch. They have a nice variety of cocktails. We enjoyed Pizza and Crepe. Which were both tasty.

Visited this restaurant on 10th August 2023 & I must admit that we were quite happy with the crepes & drinks we were served.

And then, I noticed a hard & sharp particle in my mouth when I took a sip of my Mojito. What appeared to be crystalized sugar initially turned out to be a small broken piece of glass when I took it out of my mouth. Upon finding the piece of glass, I inspected the mason jar in which I was served my drink & noticed that the mason jar was cracked.

I immediately called the server who then called the manager to take a look. While they did check on my for my well being & waived off the charges for drink from the bill, such negligence is unacceptable as its life threatening.

The particle was so sharp that I got a small cut on my lip while taking it out and it started bleeding. Luckily the cut was small & it stopped in a bit.
Since this was the very first place we visited during our trip to Montreal, we spent the entire trip worrying about my well being since I had no way to know if the drink had any other such pieces that I may have had accidently swallowed while sipping onto a drink. Luckily, I am doing okay so far:)

First things first,
The food was quite good and the service was excellent.
Serving times were really good despite it being really busy and the ambiente on the outside was nice.

Sadly the reason I cannot give more than 3 stars is that we had to wait an hour to get seated. We were 5 people, 4 adults and one 5 year old so adding a chair to one of the 3 free tables for 4 would have been plenty for the small one.
If you are a group if 2-4 people definitely go and you should get a table quite quickly, if you are more make a reservation.

It has the worst crepe's I've ever had. The salad was mediocre at best. On the other hand, they have excellent service- friendly and fast. Also, the atmosphere on the patio is great. Lots of people walking by. We were gonna eat crepes at Jardin Nelson, but the line was too long. We got into Comptoir without a wait. They advertise as a creperie and pizzaria. We didnt eat the pizza. The crepes had no flavor and very little cheese. So, go somewhere else, anywhere else for crepes. I recommend it for hanging out and having a beer or two.

For anyone seeking italian cuisine we enjoyed our dinner however the pizza wasnt great but the view of the restaurant was nice. The waiters were really polite and helpful. We had antipasti and the dried tomatoes were delicious!

Super service, personnel plus que agréable et très rapide. Les pizzas et les salades sont très bonnes et très copieuses. Et l’emplacement des terrasses permet de profiter de l’ambiance de la place Jacques-Cartier. Je vous le recommande

Bustling spot in busy section of Old Montreal. Great outdoor seating and friendly staff but the pizza we had was extremely bland. They looked amazing when they came to the table but there was just no flavor at all. They weren't BAD, they were just boring.

Yikes, luckily, we were in town for 4 days with the opportunity to try plenty of other food options and venues.literally across the street is Terasse Jacques Cartier, which has very simple menu and foods but they are true to what they are selling, save your money and go there for quick bite and drink or if you wanted finer dinning experience, just couple steps over you'll find a Mexican and Italian options well worth the extra $$$. Comptoir is stuck in between not being able to deliver to either ends.

The server for us was terrible, the food was underwhelming, and drinks were done overly sweet.

Nous avons trouvé en ce lieu de très bonnes pizzas à un tarif raisonnable. Le service était somme toute parfait. Nous avons été servi par la gérante qui, la pauvre a dû nous "subir"
Surtout le "frisé de l'intérieur" je recommande fortement

J’ai pris la crêpe canadienne. C’était délicieux. Je vous recommande ce restaurant!

Food and drinks here are sooo good and decently priced for what you get. Highly recommend this spot for pizza and booze.
