After seeing the other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one who has incurred the wrath of a receptionist here.
I arrived at 6: 55 for my 7am appointment, and what followed was one of the most bizarre and unsettling experiences I've had with a healthcare professional.
I opened the door, and told the person behind the desk I had an appointment at 7 with Shawn. The attitude started immediately.
"Have you even been here before? " she asked, in a way that can only be described as salty. I explained that I had. "Like, when, like two years ago, a week ago? " she asked, her voice raised. Already feeling very uncomfortable, I said I had been just a couple of weeks ago, but I had seen a different therapist to the one I was to see that day. "Well, who was it? " she asked with a measure of indignant vitriol no one should have to endure at that time of day, or any other for that matter, and began listing names as fast as she could.
It seemed to me as though she was angry that I had not been telling her the information she wanted, that she had expected me to just somehow know what information it was that she needed from me. When I asked her why she was being so rude, she immediately went on the defensive. She knew she was wrong, but wanted to try to make me feel as though something was wrong with me. I told her I was happy to answer any questions she had, if she would just ask them without the attitude.
The therapist arrived shortly after, at which point she accused me of screaming at her. I explained to her and the therapist that I had not raised my voice, and that she knew I hadn't, and was covering up for her rudeness. I then said that I would not be able to give this business my money, and left.
What this business needs to understand is that people come here because they are in pain and they need help. You can see from the other reviews that it's all too common for someone behind the desk here to treat vulnerable people with disdain, disrespect, and contempt. People go these businesses because they need CARE.
I very much hope that this business addresses this issue head on as it seems to be quite a bit more prevalent than one would expect for a business that deals with people at a very low point in their lives.

Terrible experience. The receptionist was extremely rude and degrading. She did not listen to my concerns or questions and would continuously place me on hold to avoid speaking to me. Super unprofessional would not recommend.
