Joey is the best! Truly an amazing cobbler. He really understands his craft, and his very helpful and even more kind!
I had brought my cowboy boots somewhere else first to fix the heal.
The guy there told me he would even put some tread on them to fix them up a little more since the sole was a little worn.
After about two weeks, I got them back and noticed the heal was a lot shorter than it originally was. Also the leather started to come apart from the sole. Creating a hole in my boot, not to mention the tread he had glued on was starting to come off.
He had sanded too much off of the heals which made them shorter, and he also sanded the soles down before gluing some tread onto the boots. However when he did that, he cut the stitching which caused the boot to come apart.
When I confronted this guy about it he kind of offered to fix the heal, but once they got worn down again, and he also told me to use crazy glue for the hole.
I wasn't impressed with his work or his responses to my issues. So I brought my boots to Joey in St. Lambert.
Best decision I ever made! Joey resoled both boots properly, with a good sole that had tread on it already.
He did a beautiful job on my boots. Not only did he replace the soles, which resolved the hole I had, he also fixed the heals back to their original height, which made the boots look great, and feel even better! Like brand new honestly. They feel perfect again.
I can't thank Joey enough!
If you ever need anything fixed, especially a pair of boots, Joey knows how to get it done properly! Definitely the guy to go to, and I will definitely be back to get my boots resoled again in the future!
