Costco Wholesale

Had to renew my membership and was really turned off my how aggressive and disagreeable the staff person (AND then his supervisor) was when I wanted to downgrade my executive membership to a regular one. Told me how I might regret it, that I shouldn’t downgrade, kept doing the math in front of me to show me - really off-putting and quite insulting. I’m the customer and I should be shown better respect and better customer service than this. If I want to downgrade my membership, LET ME! Really unprofessional and a mark against Costco in my opinion.

Fortunately my visit was quick as I went for just one item. I went on a Monday evening so a limited number of people were there and so I could go through the cash quickly!

Today the employee who working on folding clothes is very rude to me. When I was selecting clothes, I took the one underneath, she said all of the clothes are the same and complain about all the customers are messing up their clothes. She emphasized two times all of you are doing the same. I was shocked how can she complained customer in front of their face, it’s very rude. And it’s her job to fold the clothes. If she is not satisfied her job she can change it instead of complaining in front of customers.

Some of their employees are messed up in the head.badgering their clients for no apparent reason. What is Costco's problem? How can you allow your employees to behave in such a rude manner towards your members?

Similar to all others Costco stores, there is nothing special here. Also they offer some garage services but there is no gaz station here.
Enough spaces for parking even if some are far away from the entrance.
The personal is amazing, very helpful.
Found parking lot better than others Costco.

It's Costco, pretty self explanatory. 4 stars only because this location doesn't have gas.

I do not understand why can recycling machines do not accept some brands sold by Costco (Corona for example) obviously an organizational problem?

Can't believe how unilingually french this establishment has become. I actually got attitude and was asked on several occasions why I didn't speak french. What a shame in this day and age to contribute to English language discrimination.

Service médiocre au centre de pneus!

Un service médiocre au niveau de ce centre de pneus, ils annulent mon changement de l'huile déjà cédulé à la dernière minute.

La préposée ne répond pas aux questions et te snobe littéralement. Ça m'a pris 30 minutes pour me donner la facture et la clé qui etaient devant elle.
Elle s'appelle Ama. Costco devrait lui faire un coaching ou l'envoyer dans un maxi!

Very good for buying household stuff and a better offer of clothes compared to Bridge street store.

Not many people go to this one so it's not very packed. They have more options and sometimes some items are a dollar cheaper then the other Costco. Only thing is they don't have a food court. So no hot dogs, fries, poutine, ice cream, etc

Nice place, good selection, cons: parking spots a little tight and not many free spots in rush hour.but overall very good.

Pointe-Claire Costco, wasn’t too busy, just flowing. But highly disappointed with the cash out service, I spent over $250 on items and some groceries and gifts, cashier just wanted me to pay and next person: meanwhile a client returns a leaking spray container and just lets it drip on my printer paper i’m buying lol? Ya buddy, svp clean it off or replace! It’s common freaking sense, no? ! The male cashier aide just looks at me, like what’s my problem? If I didn’t need some of the items for a road trip, I would have left all. Retrain staff!

Terrible. Won't pickup the phone for appointments at either one of their services (pharmacy, opto, etc). Tried calling the administration, no response either. No possibility to leave a message.
Person on the phone pickups the line and hangs up on you without saying hello or putting you on hold until they are free.

This Costco location has a much larger selection of clothing than the Bridge Street store. They also had many more clerks on the floor who were very helpful in locating specific items we were looking for.

We have been members for years. Love Costco.the experience today was horrible! We are in a pandemic and don't need the person packing my food swearing and yelling and refusing to wear a mask.

I like this place because of the parking. I usually do 10 minutes more to go there instead of marché central. Less chance of getting dings on the car.

I mean who doesn't love costco? Been here 3 days in a row and will be back again tomorrow because I can't fit everything in my car for the new house I bought. Great quality, great prices, what's there not to love?

We always enjoy our experience at this Costco! Shelves are well stocked & staff is very nice, just a little pushy around cash time when it comes to upselling the credit cards or higher membership if you ask me.

Good for big families. I found some products more expensive than other stores but the majority of the producs are cheaper. Good for bulk purchases.

Visited 4 times still can not change membership, February visited told me need visit March, March visited told me need wait for April, April visited told me need wait for May, today visited told me not premier owner

Fully stock, always clean and friendly staff. I prefer this location over the vaudreuil one. Beware a lot of times there are lines up going in.

Always an adventure. Always something new to come across as you do your rounds. Friendly and helpful staff. I just wish that some people would be a little more courteous and drive more reasonably in the parking lot.

The staffs are very very rude, you can hardly see the smile on their faces, no any response when you say thank you, sb.even won't see you, so bad experience for every time be there.try my best to go another store even this store is closest to my home.

The quality of product we find here is very satisfactory. A variety of household things under a single roof. I appreciate everything about Costco.

Large and chaotic. It's Costco.you need to be able to pay for a year's supply of Olive oil and toilet paper for it to be worth it. Definitely not for someone on a budget.

Horrific parking lot with cars parking wherever they wanted, crowds far greater than the typical Costco crowd even on busy day. If you have the time I'd suggest another location. I've visited over a dozen and this one -in terms of parking and crowds- was by far the worst.

Always very BUSY and packed with people. Good variety of products and pretty well stocked. The food is very good at the little restaurant to grab a bite before leaving.

I love Costco but this one is a complete joke. The management is rude and I'll never step foot in that one again.

People are horrible and inconsiderate when moving their shopping carts.
Constantly blocking crucial pathways to taste samples or parking their cart in the middle pf the aisle.

Love Costco! I wish they would add more stuff on some departments.
Especially in the electronics section such as more movies and computers.
But so far, amazing place. Everyone should go there.

Well located (access by highway 40 west service road from sources blvrd it's easier) parking is always full on the weekend and horrible, no gas station, I usually go to vaudreuill instead but selection is a little different so I alternate. All that said it's costco and it's awesome

Bad experience here when they thought I stole something that was a Mastercraft product (door to floor security device). The frustrating part was that I asked the staff while I was inbound.if they wanted me to check my bags from other purchases elsewhere. It ended in me being tackled by security and they broke a new top of the line Xperia phone. This turned quite ugly and did not end with an apology or acknowledgement of wrong doing from the store/staff. As a result, simply stopped shopping at Costco!

Its got a little of everything you want and a whole lot of what you need.parking though is a nightmare.

Saturday, April 20,2019; shopped at Costco in Pointe Claire, as we were waiting in line to pay, I decided to run to the washroom without my purse. We were the cash closest to the washroom, I literally ran in, and ran out in enough time to help my partner load our items on to the cash area. Not 1 minute later, a woman who appeared to work for Costco approached us asking if I spoke French or English. She proceeded to ask me while in line to pay and in front of all other customers now loading their items on the cash area, that someone saw me take a pair of tights into the washroom. She was looking over what we had on the cash area, walked around to stand at the end of the line and say that someone saw me bring the tights into the washroom so she had to check. I was in total shock, I told her that I didn’t even bring my purse with me, that was how quickly I was gone for. She made me open my purse to prove nothing was in there and then accused me of having the tights up my pant leg and made me show her what was there. At this point I just wanted to crawl under something and hide, as everyone in the line was watching this spectacle. Needless to say being as mortified as I was, I didn’t notice her name on her tag. I told her again that I didn’t take anything, she must have felt that she wasn’t getting anywhere and walked away with no apology. She only reiterated again that an employee saw me bring the tights into the washroom and she had to check.

We finished paying for our items (total bill btw was $165) and then we went to the front counter and asked to speak to a manager. After waiting there for close to 20 minutes, a young man came over to talk with us saying he was the manager. I explained what had happened and how horrible her customer service skills were. That I understood people do make the mistake and take items into the washroom to try them on and if she wanted to ask me, she should have pulled me aside and asked, NEVER in front of other people. I offered to walk back there with him to point her out but he said that he was going to check the cameras of who this person was. He said he knew how upset I was and didn’t want me to get any more upset, he apologized that this happened. He said that their big boss was in the store that day and that the two of them would review the cameras at the cash and in front of the washroom and address it with the employee. As I was extremely upset and just wanted to leave the store, I didn’t ask for any follow up with me nor did he offer one.

I have done some follow up since Saturday and will be contacting Costco head office about this as it was completely handled poorly at my cost. I have been a member since 1992 and have never in my life have ever been made to feel that way shopping at any store let alone Costco.remember we pay to shop there! I will never go back to that Costco again. Beware!

Poor experience. I went to reactivate my membership and the guy was not able to do it because he wasn't supposed to downgrade from executive to regular without a supervisor. He asked for a supervisor to help him but the supervisor didn't have his card on him. I wasted half an hour from nothing. Finally I decided to leave and not to reactivate my account. The customer service support online or over the phone it's very very poor also.

Typical Costco warehouse. Plenty of parking during the weekday. Meats are fresh and AAA graded. Food counter is fast food but the chicken wings are tasty imo. Weekends is extremely busy and parking then is usually difficult.

Aime bcq la diversité des produits mais à mon avis.les gros étalages devant les portes de congélation (au centre du magasin) nuisent plus à la circulation des gens et tassent tout les gens pour rien.laisser ces produits en tablettes svp. Vive l'espace. Merci

It's hit or miss just like any Costco. If there's not many people then it's an enjoyable experience where you can discover many cool items. If it's packed, be ready for lots of individuals living in their own world acting like they're the only people around. Where has common sense gone?

Pour Noël, ma belle-mère m'a offert de payer pour ma carte de membre. Je suis allée au costco, il y a de ça quelque semaines. Je me suis faite encore harceler pour que je prennes la carte de membre exécutif (c'est ma 3ième visite). Je comprends qu'ils doivent faire de la vente sous-pression, mais que je leur dis non 5 fois. En plus, je n'ai qu'une job étudiante et je leur explique que je n'ai pas le temps ni l'argent alors, arrêter! Je fais des crises d'anxiété assez facilement. Et voilà que j'en ai faite une, car 3 (oui, oui 3) employés me parlent/crient en même temps. Depuis, ce temps je n'y retourne plus! Il y a des limites à harceler les gens pour qu'il prenne la carte.

Great store, very clean and great staff. Only complaint is parking, I am a senior and sometimes it is a very long walk, they should have a senior parking area.

C'est un magasin de vente en gros. On y vend de tous. Il y a des milliers d'articles, surtout alimentaires. Il y a également des vêtements et des meubles. Il y a un rayon viennoiseries où des dizaines de gâteaux, de croissants, de biscuits et autres sont proposés.

I love this store, the prices are fairly competitive but the parking system reminds me more of a grand price race other then a safe drive area

Very interesting policy for employees: they can PUSH your cart on costumer, scream at the costumer, swear at the costumer and then run away. It took me a while to get hold of an employee who did this to me, as he was pretending he doesn't see and hear me.

Impossible de vivre sans Costco pour les fromages et les produits laitiers, les gâteaux de groupe à prix économique, les noix.variées, les provisions de bouche de routine, et.les classiques pour les fêtes comme le saumon fumé, les magrets de canard, etc.après, il y a aussi tous les achats impulsifs des promotions, qui sont généralement de bonnes affaires.

Impressive Costco if I compare. Clean, stacked with products, nice layout, friendly and pretty fast staff at the cash. Always a pleasure going there!

Customer service there is hit and miss, especially on the price protection (they like to call it price adjustment), make sure you bring the bill.
