You are best to stay away from these brokers. It has been a nightmare since day one. We first got our insurance with Intact through AGR in December 2021. We had to wait over a month and a half for our insurance to be processed and take affect, luckily we were still covered under my parents insurance as they had gifted us the car. When we renewed this year, we wanted to switch to monthly payments as we plan on getting a new car sometime this year and may move away, so we wanted flexibility in our insurance should things change. We contacted the company, no problem they said, just send the forms in. We did just that. Then over a month later they contact us, asking once more for the forms. We advised them that they were sent in but were asked to send them again. We did then next morning as soon as the post office was open. They call a week later, still no forms. Not surprisingly, as it takes Intact so long to process them. Then they said not a problem it needs to be solved immediately, so we drop them off at their office the next morning, and the day after they call us saying they have canceled our insurance and we must pay a fee to reinstate it. You would have to be insane to go with a company that is so careless about your insurance, especially with such inflated rates. Every other company I looked at was $200-$300 dollars a year cheaper. I found another company to insure my car for much cheaper and was set up in an hour, with the money being taken monthly with no issue. Do yourself a favour and skip both AGR and Intact.
