Because it is a self-driving tour, I booked a place farther from downtown. The room is large and the facilities are very good. It is very comfortable to live in. I recommend it.

Compared with other hotels in downtown Quebec, the price of this Courtyard by Marriott is more affordable. It is a good choice for travelers with limited travel budget. But if you have sufficient budget, you might as well choose a hotel near Old Town, so that you can immerse yourself in the romantic atmosphere of Quebec.

When booking this time, there was a note that I hope to get a high-floor and quiet room. I am very happy to get the side room on the top floor! Not only is it quiet, but the scenery and lighting in the side rooms are also great!

The design and layout of the room is simple and elegant, but still elegant. There is a comfortable soft sofa, lying on it and watching the scenery outside the window while using the computer, it is quite comfortable and cozy!

The bed part is very comfortable, the support is enough, and it is very comfortable to sleep on. In addition, there are sockets on both sides of the bed, which is convenient for charging mobile phones.

Breakfast is served at the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. It is served as a set meal. The price is not too expensive, and it is delicious. I personally recommend the crepe set!

Overall, this innovatively designed Courtyard Hotel has a convenient location and is very convenient to go to major attractions and airports in the Quebec region, and the price is good. The accommodation experience this time is quite good!

Maya went above and beyond to make sure our stay exceeded our expectations. We mentioned it was our son's birthday and she put balloons in the room. The room and pool were clean and all the staff were kind and courteous.

New and modern hotel. It's a short drive from the airport and the downtown core.

Extremely professional, tentative, friendly bilingual staff!

Nice restaurant in the lobby.

My room was immaculate. I couldn't find any issues with it.

A Hotel in Decline

I am a lifetime Titanium member of Marriott's frequent customer program with over 1000 actual nights spent in various types of Marriott properties all around the world during a 25 year career. Needless to say, I have a ton of experience with hotel stays.

I booked a 4 night stay in this property arriving on 12/3/22 and departing the morning of 12/7/22. I have stayed in this hotel several times since it opened in 2016 or 2017.

Upon arrival, I requested daily maid service. I was told that I must request the service on the actual day. So the next morning, I requested service. After a long day around the city, I returned to my room around 10PM to find the room had not been touched by the maid. When I called down to the front desk, the employee was quite rude and never apologized for the mistake. In addition, the shower was filthy with mold growing in several areas. The next morning the manager (Anthony) apologized for the mistake as well as for the attitude of the employee.

On the third day of my visit, THIS HAPPENED AGAIN. I had requested maid service by telephone and in-person at the front desk. Once again, I returned to the room late that evening and no one had bothered to perform the requested service. In addition, the soap dispenser on the wall was now empty in addition to a filled trash container. When my wife spoke to the front desk the next day, a woman named Maya never apologized and was quite nasty essentially saying, "I'm not sure why you are upset, I wasn't the person who made the mistake". I then asked to speak to the same manager (Anthony) and I was told he was not available. I left him a note requesting him to call me asap and he never bothered to call (although a desk person left me a message). I placed a call to him and I still have not heard anything.

My concerns with this hotel are multiplying and I am a frequent visitor to Quebec City. I have seen many hotel rooms in may career and it is clear this is a property is in decline. I also believe the manager is below the standards one would expect to see from a Marriott. Avoid this property on your next trip to Quebec City.

I see the owner responded. I am 100% certain that the sign was not on the door. The owners own Property director Anthony Beauregard confirmed. No wonder this issue happened. The owner cannot take his/her own responsibility and simply apologize. Excuses, excuses, excuses

Really modern hotel, bonus big gym and long pool for lane swimming. They even got nice bar and restaurant on site.

I travel and stay and many hotels. I need to mention that this hotel was extremely clean as that is very important for me. If you like to walk into your room and not find hair in your bed or bathtub, this is the hotel to stay at in Quebec. It was my first time staying here, but I will purposely choose it again.

Un hôtel propre avec des chambres très agréables et une literie confortable. Nous étions proches de l'ascenseur mais nous n'avons pas été dérangés.
Le stationnement est gratuit.
La vue et l'environnement ne sont pas très beaux mais on ne vient pas d ans ce genre d'hôtel pour ça.

I was overall satisfied with my stay. The rooms were clean overall, but the lobby would need a facelift. The staff didn't seem as knowledgeable as one would expect interms of service. I had breakfast paid for with the room, but staff had no idea how to go abouts it. The breakfast was decent, however seats are limited.

Une chose à modifier SVP nous somme en 2022 investissez dans une machine à café Nespresso ou quelque chose de semblable. Dans ma chambre j’ai encore une cafetière au café filtre quand même…

Worst stay ever in a Marriott hotel. The fire alarm has been activated at 1am in the morning. There was a terrible sound and lights flashing. We couldn’t sleep for more than 2 hours after. The Smart TV was not working. Management practices are terrible. They’ve offered to compensate 5000 of the 30000 points that I paid. I will never stay there again.

Nous avons eu un séjour le 13 août 2022 à cet hôtel. La propreté laissait à désirer. Les équipements étaient manquants. Nous avons appelé plusieurs fois à la réception mais aucune réponse. Le système d’alarme se déclenche à 1h du matin, aucune information ou soutien à ce sujet. Nous avons passé 30 mn à la réception et c’est pompier qui nous a informé du problème. J’ai contacté la direction de l’hôtel et un assistant m’a promis de me rappeler, jamais eu cet appel! Service à la clientèle et propreté pas fameux. Je ne conseillerai pas cet hôtel️

Un front desk avec des terminaux de paiements qui ne prennent pas la puce donc les carte étrangères peuvent ne pas fonctionner, confusion à l'arrivé et peu d'explication sur comment payé (différente cartes pour les réservations VS paiement) qui font qu'ils facture n'importe quelle carte, manque d'eau chaude un matin, douche avec tuile une brisée sans que personne ne soient au courant malgré qu'il y avait une note écrite claire lors de notre arrivé dans la chambre, très peu d'aide à corriger la facturation erroné par la suite.

Bref, essayez ailleurs.

EDIT: même après 1 semaine, plusieurs emails et téléphone, ils ont réussi à ne pas traiter la transaction correctement. Sans blague, aller ailleurs. 2 nuits pour 2 semaines de bordel au téléphone, ca vaut pas la peine.

We stayed there July 16th and the front desk was super polite and fluent in English. Our room was beautiful (king bed with a pullout couch) it was the perfect size for myself, husband and infant. I really enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows and the bathroom was one of the nicest bathrooms I've seen in a hotel.

None of this tops their guest service though. On the 18th I realized I forgot my Nintendo switch and games. When I called, I was told that they would check housekeeping as there was someone already in the room (they had to wait until they checked out to recheck the room). Little did I know, they were about to check housekeeping on every single floor before calling me back. Unfortunately it had not been found yet. Upon checkout of the guest, housekeeping did a full search of the room and found my switch underneath the couch.

The hotel then proceeded to lock my switch up until I traveled back through Quebec City 2 weeks later. When picking it up, front desk was super polite and even remembered speaking to me on the phone two weeks prior.

I am so impressed with the guest service and my experience with this hotel that I will definitely be staying there any chance I have and will be recommending them!

Très satisfait de mon séjour, hotel neuf et très propre. Personnel très professionnel, attentionné et courtois, que ce soit à la réception, au bar ou au restaurant. Assurément ma nouvelle destination hotel pour affaires à Québec. À noter, très grand stationnement et plusieurs services proches dont de nombreux restaurants de qualité à distance de marche.

Mon conjoint et moi avons séjourné pendant 4 jours et cet Hôtel n’est pas à la hauteur. Nettoyage des chambre pas fait selon les règles, traces de doigts sur les armoires, les lits et les oreillers de qualités médiocre. Le Restaurant nourriture excellente mais les ustensiles de mauvaises qualités.
Le personnels, courtois et très gentil.
Nous voulions boire une bouteille de vin et comme les resto-bar était fermé, les employés n’avait rien pour déboucher la bouteille. Selon moi cette hôtel n’est pas un 4.4 mais un 1 maximum. Nous avons écris aux personnes en charge de l’hôtel et nous avons reçu aucune réponse. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

Personnel très peu accueillant à la réception. J’ai trouvé une caisse de bières vides dans ma chambre, ce qui me fait douter de leurs standards de nettoyage en ce temps de pandémie. Et par dessus tout, une erreur de facturation. Ma pire expérience dans un établissement Marriott.

Does not honour Elite Benefits. We have Titanium status which entitles us to the equivalent of 10 USD per guest and per day to use for food and beverage at the property's restaurant, which is sort of a way to provide the equivalent of a mostly free breakfast at properties without business lounges. Instead, they told us they were worth 10 CAD and even wrote 10 CAD on the official Marriott voucher that itself clearly states that it should be the equivalent of 10 USD. They did not provide vouchers for my guest. And the worst, they told us we could not use them at the restaurant and could only used them at their mini convenience store.

I'm giving 3 stars because the room is nice, the view from the 9th floor is nice. However, them not respecting Marriott Bonvoy policies leave a bad taste, especially when they essentially tell us the opposite of what's written on the provided vouchers themselves.

My boyfriend and I went to Quebec to celebrate Valentine's day and we stayed 2 nights at this hotel.we absolutely loved every single thing about it. The staff was amazing and helped out so much. Even it being Covid and them not allowing us to have glasses and plates. They went above and beyond and got us all that plus a vase to put the flowers I had in them for them not to die and recommendations for restaurants with deals. The hotel itself was very great located (close to grocery stores and restaurants), very clean and spacious, Netflix and Youtube on TVs, amazing showers and so much more. If you live in this area or are planning a trip I highly recommend this hotel.

Très bel hôtel, grande douche pratique et lit très confortable! Par contre revenir de notre journée à Québec et réaliser que le ménage n'a pas été fait (covid j'imagine), demander à la réception à avoir des serviettes de douche puisque celles de la veille sont sales, et se faire dire qu'il n'y en a plus donc de se sécher avec les petites serviettes abîmées bleues de la piscine. Pour moi c'est quand même inacceptable comme situation au prix qu'on paye par nuit, normalement on mérite d'avoir des serviettes normales et le minimum nécessaire déjà qu'on a pas de service, finalement on a pas pu se laver à notre deuxième nuitée et ça a vraiment gâché notre soirée et je suis déçue de ne pas avoir été accommodée autre que me donner des serviettes de piscine abîmées, je m'attendais à mieux venant d'un endroit qui paraissait chic.

It was almost new building.very well maintained.
I am rating 4 because their rooms were small.we ooked it for 2 adults and 2 children.

Had one full king bed and unfortunately, sofa combed was twin.normally we found queen size sofa combed in all other hotels. Extra space in the room was not enough.if you have more than 1 child, then its not recommended.there is not much space even to put extra mattress there.
Rest of everything was good enough.

It was great. Pool was excellent. We had 2 rooms one with 2 queen beds and another for my daughter and husband 1 king bed. Rooms were beautiful and relaxing. Bathroom was also nice. Received great service with staff. Will definitely go again in the future.

L’hôtel était très beau et bien rénové et la chambre était assez spacieuse. Plusieurs aires de repos en bas ainsi qu’un bar. On n’a pu l’utiliser à cause de la covid mais je compte y retourner pour en profiter davantage. Chambre propre et on service!

Bel hôtel, chambres propres et personnel courtois. J'ai été très déçu du manque de communication pour l'accès aux installations réduit par les mesures sanitaires. J'avais choisi cet hôtel pour profiter de la piscine intérieure tel qu'annoncé sur leur site, ce qui m'a été refusé. Autrement, je donnerais 5 étoiles pour cet hôtel.

Très belle hôtel. Pas beaucoup de service étant donné la covid. La chambre pourrait être mieux nettoyé. Exemple aspirateur et changement de drap. L'accueil est parfait.

I love the unique style or this hotel. I enjoyed the included sheltered parking. Unfortunately the pool was closed but it looked very inviting. As a Platinum member I was very happy with my welcome gift and room upgrade. The WiFi in the the corner room I stayed in worked well. Saida Nouar was very welcoming and took seriously the COVID procedures which was appreciated. The hotel overall had me feeling safe. Nearby there are many restaurant and food options and there was a microwave in the room I had. I would recommend this hotel over the other Marriott hotels in the Quebec City area.

Stayed here for a business trip. Very clean, quiet and spacious room. Breakfast at the cafe on 1st floor was good too.
