Crêperie Chez Suzette

We went here specifically for the French onion soup. We were NOT disappointed. The restaurant itself is quite large 3 stories. We were seated on the 3rd floor. Didn't get to see the other floors other than to just walk the stairs. The 3rd floor was very basic no real charm. Our waitress was swamped with tables but really did t have to wait and she kept on top of things.

Visiting the Crêpe Fondue specialty restaurant in Montreal was a fantastic experience during my travels. The ambiance of the place was a delightful blend of coziness and modern charm, offering a unique taste of Canadian flair. The texture of the crêpes was exceptionally noteworthy – perfectly crispy on the outside while meltingly soft inside.

The variety on the menu was also impressive. From sweet to savory crêpes, the wide range of options made it a delightful dilemma to choose just one. The chocolate and banana crêpe I finally settled on was a sublime choice. The sweetness of the chocolate harmoniously blended with the freshness of the banana, creating a joyously flavorful experience in every bite.

The service was outstanding as well. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. This visit will certainly be remembered as one of the highlights of my Montreal trip. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves crêpes.

Nice waiter, nice and cozy atmosphere. It's my first time writing a review about a restaurant from my own town, but I have to this time for the following reasons: the taste for a basic americano decaf coffee was 1/10 and charging 5.99 for it (that's their cheapest price) and not accepting to give you a refill, is just NOT honest! If they want to charge 5.99$ for a basic decaf coffee, it should have the quality of a 5-star hotel. The coffee shops in Montreal do not even charge that for an excellent coffee! Secondly, they publicize that they serve pure maple syrup, but living in Quebec for all my life (63 years), I can guarantee you that it is not pure maple syrup. I can understand that many customers may be tourists and not notice these things. But personally, I find this to be cheating and I will not go again.

An eatery getting by on its location. The music was over bearing and I'll suited to the space. Good window views and service but the food was not great. The Florentine crepe has cold sauce, and big lumps of brie with raw spinach and the drinks were sub par. Don't waste your time or money.

Dans le vieux Montréal, crêpes et fondues, pour les français, cela nous rappelle la Bretagne. Crêpes très garnies.

Souper délicieux, sur terrasse! On ne peut avoir mieux! Nos trois fondues étaient délicieuses et les prix sont très raisonnables! Un serveur très gentil et honnête. On a déjà hâte d'y retourner.

Very atmospheric establishment with absolutely amazing staff we received only positive emotions from you and as a bonus 3 very tasty fondues in the kitchen our separate Mercy

Food and service was fine. The owner can work on his people skills however. He came to our table and told our table to keep it down. Honestly, don't think we were loud enough to be shh 'ed. No one around us seemed bothered. No hi, how are you,? How's the food? Etc just shhhhhh. Even the waiter seemed surprised with his comment. Never coming back and wouldn't recommend. Fyi we went to many other places in Montreal without being shhh'ed

Food was okay, but service was horrible. I waited 25 minutes for payment to be received and the guy wouldn’t until I stood up and went to him. His attitude was poor overall as well

15 minutes d'attente même pas un bonjour et venir prendre notre commande. On vous installe et après plu personne.
Heureusement qu'il y avait pas grand monde. J'imagine même pas en cas de forte influence

Crepes️️: Expected more for the crepes since it's their main, but I would rather get an omelet after trying. They were dry and small portions.

Fantastic server who was wonderful and attentive. I wished I had gotten his name. Crepes were AMAZING. I highly recommend the Brie and apple crepe with maple syrup. Can't wait to go back.

The fondue pot wasn't well presented. Aluminum foil wrapped around the base was not pleasing. We were at another restaurant, and our fondue was in a lovely red crock with a proper base

Very nice restaurant in Vieux-Montréal. Many dishes to choose from. I personally recommend the Soupe à l'oignon (french onion soup). Really great. And good prices too. I will be coming back!

Magnifiques, délicieuses, les crêpes sont généreuses et tellement bonnes. Le service est rapide, attentionné et agréable. On reviendra avec grand plaisir.
La crêpe chèvre miel est exceptionnelle.

Nous avons mangé une fondue et une entrée de bruschetta.

Nous avons été plus que satisfaits de la nourriture et également du service reçu!

Chicken and mushroom crepe was yum! Québécois crêpes for my kids were a hit. Nice atmosphere and great service. Quick for being a busy day on the weekend of the anniversary of Quebec

Great atmosphere and friendly service. It was a bit slow, but they were busy. I had the Supreme de Poulet and La Cheesecake crepes. The presentation and serving size were great, though I found the taste a little bland. Still I would recommend this place. Their drink menu looked great as well.

Luckily, we could grab a table at the corner with large windows and a super chill view over the walking street. We ordered shrimp crepe and smoked salmon bagel for the main courses, plus a cup of latte and another cold drink. All were delicious and cheesy. The staff were polite and very helpful. Highly recommend for those desiring a true French vibe for either leisure or work purpose.

Wife & I wandering around old Montreal, saw this place & noticed it was busy but had seating. Took a beautiful spot facing the street with an open window, we ordered regular coffee & two savoury crepes Delice & Sugar Shack. Service was fast, friendly & the food was delicious. I was worried the portions might be too small but then after I started eating I was worried I wouldn’t be able to finish it. The place is huge, with three levels. Highly recommend!

Skip this one. Soggy and tasteless crepes, which even a generous pouring of bechamel couldn't revive. Service is indifferent, bordering on rude.
