I purchased 4 tickets for myself and my family for a tour of Montreal along the St. Lawrence River. The tour itself was great, but the atrocious service we experienced practically ruined the whole cruise. The waiters consistently ignored our table and we had to basically beg for them to take our orders and serve us. When we finally placed our orders, the drinks arrived promptly, but the nachos we ordered took over 45 minutes to reach our table. Meanwhile, other passengers seemed to be getting their orders without any issue. We had to flag down a different server to ask about our order, only to be told that there was a problem in the kitchen.

While the cruise offered great sights and an enjoyable experience, the lack of attention and the delay in getting our orders ruined the entire trip.

It was the worst1.5 hr river cruise I have ever been on and I’m from Montreal. I had a guest from Toronto and expected that they would give information on Montreal’s rich history but they did not. We went up the st Laurence river, had alcohol but no information on Montreal. Don’t waste your money and go with bateau Mouche. Way better!

We took the 1.5 hour cruise from the old port to the Northern tip of Montreal. The 4pm cruise is cheaper and includes a free drink. Really nice cruise, with a great guide. Perfect amount of time to cruise the St Lawrence and grab dinner after in Montreal.
