We had reservations for a Friday night and we arrived 15 minutes early and were seated immediately. Our waiter was phenomenal! I had a tough time deciding between two dishes and he split them in 2 so I could try both. Besides the amazing service, the food was amazing! We had the burrata appetizer which was incredibly smooth. The mushroom ravioli was hands down the favorite dish which was quickly eaten. The lamb cavatelli dish was also delicious but it couldn't compete with the richness of the truffle and mushroom. I highly recommend Da Vinci!

Good location and environment but it is a bit overpriced, and the food was not good, especially the Tomahawk steak which taste bad.

Came here on a Saturday night after another reservation fell through—no regrets at all! Service is wonderful from the moment you step in till you leave. Great selection of wine. Great ambiance—we saw people bring their children and they accommodated well but it might not be the greatest place to bring them along (maybe for lunch is more optimal). For appetizers we got the buratta which was alright, unfortunately did not get the chance to explore more as we weren’t too hungry but they have a really diverse selection of appetizers. As for the mains—please do yourself a favour and get the mushroom risotto, the fish or the steak. All buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

Nourriture très bonne mais en raison du prix, je m’attendais à plus.
Vin 54$ SAQ eux le vendent à 155$… 3x le prix. Les employés ne parlent pas beaucoup français, j’ai commandé un Thé vert et on m’a apporté une tasse d’eau chaude remplie de feuilles de menthe.
Je ne ressentais pas l’ambiance d’un restaurant italien. Toutefois le décor est magnifique. Pour le même prix, j’aurais eu un restaurant étoilé! Un peu décevant.

We had a great diner before our show at the Bell Center, ideally located a few minutes away from the venu. They are highly experienced at receiving guests which go to the game or shows so you'll always be on time.
The service was very nice, our server Carlo was fantastic, proficient and very friendly a true professional!
We started with the wedge cesar salad beautifully presented on a sharing plate.
The tomahawk steak was more than enough to feed 4, it was perfectly cooked served with a great wine reduction sauce.
The rapinis were served with small pepper and we enjoyed a side dish or potato pave style.
Espresso corretto was perfectly done and we made our show just in time!

The waiter was incredible. The food was delicious. The wait time was ridiculous though. My partner almost fell asleep waiting for her food. Spent almost three hours.

The quality of food. The friendly and attentive service from staff. The fancy atmosphere. However, the bill is on the high side so its not some place we can eat oftenly. Recommend for special occasion. We really like the waiter, super friendly!

I witnessed and overheard something very disturbing this week at this restaurant by one of the staff (coat check lady).

I heard the coat check personnel making a negative comment on a customer’s little carry on bag that she had.

Problem 1: none of her business
Problem 2: She proceeded to say to the customer after some exchanges about the bag, and I quote “well that’s “retarded. ” Which is offensive and judgmental amongst many other things. No one should be using this word anymore in this day of age. That word affects me because of personal reasons and it should not be tolerated.

Other than that the food and service was very good. It’s too bad my last impression of the night was a poor one.

This place has hired two crooks to block public parking on the street and when you park against their wish they will call their friend and give you a ticket without any reason.

It's an upscale Italian restaurant with excellent food and exceptional friendly services that make you feel like home.
My wife and I were here for the first time for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience.
The elaborate wine list is sure to satisfy the upmost dificult wine lovers, especially italian wine from Chianti to Piemonte.

It's a Montreal staple. Stood the test of time because of it's great food and impeccable service.
We were a large party and they went over and above to accommodate us given that our uncle had a walker.
Again the food and wine selection were fantastic and we're treated like family.
Would be a pleasure to come back here.

Good presentation is excellent, servers are attentive. One to serve drink, one to take your order and one to make sure everything is right.

We actually came across this restaurant while shopping at Costco and saw a gift card there. The 3 of us decided to go for one of our birthdays and easily made a reservation online. Parking can be quite hard in the area, but as it is an upscale restaurant, they do offer valet.
We were quickly greeted and seated, our wait staff was absolutely amazing. The portion sizes for the pastas were huge, which was not what I expected as the quality was still superior. When we had mentioned it was someone's birthday, the staff brought out an amazing cake which was perfect to cap out the dining experience.

If you want an amazing meal, superb service and quality care this is a place to visit! You MUST eat at this restaurant and will not be disappointed! By far my absolute favourite in Montreal. Whether it be a date night, celebrating a special occasion, a night out with friends, or just popping in for a dinner with my husband and daughter, DaVinci’s will always make your experience a memorable and unforgettable one! The food is always top quality some of the best I have had. Chefs untouchable- their passion for food, and creativeness with his dishes far exceeds anything we have ever experienced. The food presentation and plating is exceptional. From seafood towers, to fresh pastas, fine quality land and sea dishes, everything is always high quality and amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and welcoming. Beyond anything else the service is absolutely exceptional! Went there for an official dinner. It is a authentic Italian cuisine dine in restaurant. A must to have experience, being a vegetarian was not sure what to eat and staff took care of everything. They explained each dishes before serving and provided their view what to try and not.

The food was good and everyone was nice. I arrived alone, and even though the restaurant was empty, I was seated between a table of 6 guys on a night on the town (much discussion about which strip club to go to after dinner) and a very young couple on a date. I didn't want to listen to either conversation. I'm not sure if they were punishing me for the audacity of showing up without a partner, or if they thought I'd be lonely by myself at a quieter table, but I spent the whole time at the restaurant wishing I could leave. I have travelled all over the world, often having to dine alone, and I can say I have never felt more uncomfortable as a solo diner in a restaurant in my life. Total bill close to $100 for a modest meal for one person with pleasant, but average, service. Nothing exceptional. I won't be back.

We had a large group of 90 and were treated like royalty. Vince and his team provide exceptional service that only competes with the exceptional food and wine list. Highly recommend you visit this gem any time you are in Montreal and if you live there! Cannot tell you much fun we had!

The food is art on a plate and tastes like you’ve gone and travelled to Europe! The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and welcoming, think fine dining meets welcome to my home for dinner. Beyond anything else the service is absolutely exceptional! If you are fortunate enough to have Lavi host and serve you for the evening you will have a night, meal and wine to remember for ages. We had a small celebratory dinner for my youngest sister who is getting married, the restaurant seated us in a special private area and gave us a real VIP experience! I highly recommend for special events or just a sensational dinner!

Excellent establishment! Fresh food, exceptional service and attention to detail. Had the salmon tartar to start and it was exceptional, as well as the tuna. My guest and I shared the crab legs and they were out of this world. For the main course I went with the steak and couldn’t be more pleased. They have a great menu to choose from, our host/server was LaVie, he’s so informative and guided us to make all the perfect choices. Thanks LaVie. A true gem in the heart of Montréal.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life! I wish I could turn back the hand of time and not make a reservation. This is a place where guests receive different treatment base on how they look like! Spent more than a hour waiting on the starter and in the meantime seeing other table that came after us getting served and asked if everything is fine. Never happening again! Thank you for wasting my time.

Went on the same night as the Sebastian Maniscalco show, very busy. The staff was clearly overwhelmed but kept smiling and doing their best to keep the clients happy. Tried the burrata entree, very tasty. The gnocchi were delicious but I couldn't really taste the riccota.

My little sisters dorothees birthday was a full success thanks to Lavi and the team. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. With all the restrictions going on. They make sure you have an amazing time. Their lamb chops are to die for! I totally recommend!

A very tricky place with arrogant servers and workers. The Bengali or Indian servant makes you order his deserts and food in a tricky way while not listening to you if you try to tell him you do not want it. He will try to continue talking to your other companion and makes her to accept his marketing. Vey low food a very high price. They rip you off. I never suggest this place specially for a date.for less than 300 grams food they ripped me off 500 dollars and still the Italian servant was arrogantly asking for a 70 dollar tip. I give zero 0 to this place.specially that it is very small and not looking like expensive places. The real cost of the food they serve in my case was 30 dollars and they charged me $500. I never suggest this place. Do not waste your money.

I don’t know where to start with this review. I’m from Toronto, and it was my partner’s birthday. We were in Montreal for several days to celebrate and decided to attend this restaurant.

Five of us came and were seated by the man in a blue suit. After a bit, he took our order and went off, and we waited about 45 minutes for our food. All of us were disappointed with the supposed “food” that was presented on our plates.

The waiter came around to check on the food and we expressed that we were unhappy. He said “Bon Appetit Anyways”, and walked away.

Throughout the night the waiter had creepy mannerisms in the way he would speak to the women at our table creating a rather uncomfortable environment. At the end he did get a dessert and got people to sing Happy Birthday, which was sweet. But after this it was all down hill.

When paying for our bills, we were obviously unsatisfied with the food and service, so few of us reflected that in our tip giving 5%. The waiter was disappointed which is understandable, but as opposed to questioning why and seeing what he could do to improve he started cussing us. He was swearing, trying to force us to tip more. The whole response and situation was incredibly unprofessional and set a bad mood for the rest of our evening.

I wish I could give 20 stars! My partner and I were in Montreal for the first time and wanted authentic Italian cuisine to celebrate our 2 year dating anniversary in August of 2021. The service was AMAZING.no, PHENOMENAL. Bartenders and staff took such well care of us as if we were royalty. The food? ! FRESH, QUALITY, AUTHENTIC, DIVINEEEE. We had lamb chops and oysters to start. The lamb fell off the bone, the oysters SO DAMN GOOD. Entreés: we had salmon & some type of pasta dish I can’t remember but it was so GOOOOD ahh. The drink menu again, amaze. The best Italian cuisine we’ve ever tasted, we have YET to find anything even close in Toronto. The ambiance? Perfect, we enjoyed a middle table so we got a nice view of the entire resto and it was so intimate and relaxing. The overall experience blew us out the waterrrr! We can’t wait to go back. Though we did wait a bit to be seated, they took care of us and we enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the bar which more than made up for it. Had our Christmas supper here the other night. Vince made all the planning and arrangements for our group a breeze. The food was delicious and the staff a real delight.

The ambience was nice, but the food was disappointing and lacked flavor. The lobster rossoto was wet, lacked flavor and was not creamy, disappointing. The mushroom and procuitto pasta lacked flavor.

Absolutely unforgettable experience from the moment we walked in until the end. As tourists, we walked in without a reservation on a Friday evening. The gentleman (host) in suit greeted us and was really trying to get us a table because it was either all occupied or reserved. After discussinf with his colleague, he led us to the 2nd floor which was mainly for large groups or reserved seats. We really felt their professionalism by the look of them trying their best to serve their customers. Our server, David A.was also amazing. Very attentive and truly professional. We started with oysters as starter with house white wine which was a good pairing. House red wine that David recommened for our mains were also great. Thank you everyone. We will definitely be back next time with a reservation when we are in town. We will highly recommend this restaurant to our friends in Toronto.

It had been at least 17 years since my last visit. Use to dine at Da Vinci’s regularly in the late 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. The service and food was as great yesterday as I remembered it. Showed up at your door without reservations and you made it happen. Thank you Lavi and team for taking care of my wife and I it was truly enjoyable.

I came here and had a divine experience, the food is some of the best Italian cuisine in Quebec. They also used to be on Uber Eats but sadly no longer, they should bring that back as I’d love to order their food for delivery!

It is definitely an over-rated and over-priced place, with a below average quality. It took a very long time to deliver the food. Finally, when the main dish arrived (Filet Mignon along with 7 French fries), it was cooked the way I ordered it, had no-flavor, and was at room temperature.

I had Amazing dinner with my fiance last night. Manager and waiter were so nice. The foods were? Lamb and veal meat were so delicious and cooked perfectly. Definitely will come back.

Mon Filets mignon était pas assez cuit il aurait fallu ouvrir quand un client demande medium bien et de plus ma conjointe a mangé une bouchée de son assiette et ne l’aimait pas et les serveurs on rien voulu faire. Partout ailleurs il lui aurait changé sans dire un mot surtout quand l’assiette est 40$.

We ordered at 4pm for a delivery at 6: 30pm. At 7: 30 we had to contact them to know what was happening. They told us they couldn’t send the order because they were too busy. No apologies, no heads-up, not a way to treat customers. We definitely don’t recommend.

Nous avons commandé le repas de St-Valentin samedi le 13 février à 13: 30 en commande à emporter pour 19: 00. Je suis arrivée à l'heure, mais j'ai dû quitter à 19: 30 sans ma commande en raison du couvre-feu.

Nous sommes extrêmement déçus.
Nous étions très compréhensifs concernant le retard en cuisine (la commande est arrivée à 21: 45) et nous avons apprécié que vous vous rattrapiez en offrant la livraison. Nous aurions toutefois préféré que vous preniez les devants en nous appelant dès que vous avez constaté que vous auriez du retard. Si cela vous était impossible, il aurait été préférable de me prévenir lorsque je suis arrivéé au restaurant. Confinement oblige, je devais quitter à 19: 30 pour être à la maison à 20: 00. Cependant, vous avez tardé à m'annoncer votre retard. Cela m'a fait perdre 40 minutes sur place, mais cela aurait pu me coûter une amende très dispendieuse en raison des mesures en vigueur par le gouvernement.

Concernant la nourriture, nous n'avons pas été satisfaits par la qualité ni la quantité.
- Le tartare de thon était très petit et il y avait plus d'avocats et autres légumes que de thon.
- Le carpaccio de boeuf était bon, mais la quantité n'était pas du tout au rendez-vous.
- Le boeuf argentin et les tortellinis à la courge était ordinaires et nous nous attendions à une qualité nettement supérieure pour le prix que nous avons payé.

Heureusement, les desserts étaient à la hauteur en terme de quantité et de qualité. Nous aurions espéré que les entrées et les plats principaux se démarquent autant que les desserts, en particulier au niveau de la qualité.
À l'occasion de la St-Valentin, ce repas demeure une grande déception.

Delivery: sliders patties were amazing. A bit disappointed that they used cheap buns, processed cheese and a gherkin to compliment it, because that was not a good choice. Lobster and truffle mac and cheese was great, with decent portions of lobster. Nutella horns were tasty.

Although I've never dined inside due to covid shutdowns, I've ordered takeout twice and it's been amazing both times. The mozzarella dish and filet are a must try! The food is also well packed- cold dishes were packed and placed in one bag and the hot dishes in a separate bag, its a small consideration but not all restaurants are doing that!

Great place, very accomodating and authentic. Inside looks elegant and the bathrooms are very clean. Went after they reopened from COVID (Aug 2020) and they had all their staff wearing masks and using hand sanitizer frequently. I had the Pennone with Italian bacon and tomato sauce, and requested no cheese. My date had the cheese gnocci. It was delicious and we both agreed we could have eaten another bowl if the portion was less generous and the desserts less tempting. Good value for your money, and a lovely place to spend a special occasion.

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful food, beautiful staff. We were in town for 1 night and the team at Da Vinci took great care of us. Order whatever GM Lavi romances to you from the menu.

Last night was our first time we visited this place. But It is no doubt not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the efficient service, with the superb meal and fine drinks and with the comfortable charge. We will no doubt go back there in a short time.

My wife and I used to dine here often when she was working downtown. Life then got in the way and with the kids and all we had not been in years.
Spur of the moment, made a reservation and was I ever glad I did. Better than I remembered. Great food, Great Service, Great ambiance. Couldn't really ask for more. If you want to be treated like family ask for Carlo, he puts the experience over the top. I'll be back sooner rather than later that's for sure!

Great food, amazing service, very elegant atmosphere. The maître d was very polite and listened carefully to what we asked and suggested a delicious dish based on our explanation. The price was a little high, but it worth the experience.

We came for lunch and ordered from their Table d'hote menu which included appetizer, main, and coffee/tea. There were four different kinds of main to choose from and the portion size was great for its price. Super generous with their complimentary bread AND the bread was warm. Incredible service, very attentive, we had a lovely time talking to our server. Thank you Lavi!

Delicious food, you can't go wrong with anything. The grilled octopus was amazing. But more than anything THE SERVICE. Our maitre d' was attentive, funny, helpful, and professional. He made our experience there extra special!
