Senior leading person in reception is very egoistic person.not listen to anyone. Not good when time will come he will realise from business point of view in loosing customers. This note to be taken in positive terms.

Quick and kind service from all staff, and a tasty sandwich although it is way overpriced for the portion size

Love the 'family' atmosphere of the place. It's a 'mom and pop' franchise and they are wonderful people. Very nice to talk to and remembers my name. Good customer service and a pleasure to chat with them.

I went to go and get a sandwich today and had my first real disappointing experience at this Dagwood's location. It's a husband & wife operation, and despite being close to the Loyola campus at Concordia, i find it's never that busy. Anyhow, there was a guy ahead of me, and while he was still being served the husband/gentleman asked me for my order. I told him finish slicing the ham for the guy and i'll order then. Anyhow, he did not wait and asked me for my order. I was very clear that i wanted it on brown bread (whole wheat) and not white. Without even looking he takes out the white bread, slices it and his wife is already prepping the cheese on one side of the bread. Oh, i should note that i ordered two small sandwiches, two different sandwiches. I right away said that he took the wrong bread. Anyhow, he argued with me that i did request white bread for one of the two sandwiches. I told him that that was not the case. And he acted like it was my fault. Also, had they paused a second, i would've had told them no cheese. And first of all, they're supposed to ask and just assume that the customer wants cheese. Anyhow, i admit that i was a bit rude, but i really didn't like their attitude and defensiveness, so i responded in kind. I told them to forget about the order, that i don't like their attitude, and left. As for the cheese that i didn't want, i heard the guy in front of me agree to take it and put on his sandwich. Thanks guy, whoever you were for salvaging the unwanted cheese.
Just to say to that couple, don't argue with the customer when they are reasonable. Just accept your mistake and do the best to correct it. Had you done that, i would've been satisfied to proceed with my order. Now, i don't plan on returning, so you've lost a customer for good.

Nice place! The service feels very down to earth, whoever is serving us brings humour to it. There's also just something about the location being in a small street corner that's very satisfying. Try the pickles!

Maddy (don't know if I spelt his name right) made my first Dagwoods experience very pleasant. He was very friendly and was able to answer my friend's and I's questions about the food. He even offered samples of the soups and sauces. My message to him is to keep it up, and great things will happen. Whoever runs this place should be proud to have an employee like him.:) Recommend this place to anyone who enjoys sandwiches!

Chicken was grey in color, I was told that its the marinade. I asked to exchange it all hell broke loose.slamming sandwiches and attitude. I will not return, to bad I live around the corner.family of four done!
