Too rushed. Hurt my thumb and wasn't filed properly. One nail is not even straight. Not enough nail polish coat on as well. I won't be going back. Price was 66$

Yes l showed up late for my appointment due to road closures. I kept calling the store to make sure if it was ok to still come or reschedule he gave me the green light to come.
When l got there he assured me that they could do both my feet and hands but it turned out to be a 3hrs job with the nail tech talking continuously with both hands and she almost scotched my feet with hot water.l had to be tossed from 1 tech to the other and back to the 1st nail tech l had. All the while with no proper communication of while l had to be moved.
In the end l had had enough l left with only a pedicure done. When l was making my payment l tried to communicate with the owner who is rude and could barely hear the customer feedback. 3hrs and l left with unfinished manicure
How long does pedicure & shellac take? It took almost 2hrs.
And that talking in a language the clients do not understand is a no for me

Pire expérience dans un Nail salon. La dame ne regardait même pas mes mains mais ce qui se passait autour. À tel point qu’elle m’a blessée et que mon doigt a saigné. C’était très expéditif et très peu professionnel. Je déconseille!

Very bad service! They spoke vietnamien together and I couldn’t understand what they say, finally after my manicure finished, when I started my pedicure, the lady said something in vietnamien to other and immediately the lady said we don’t have enough time to put a nail polish! She just cut my nails and I payed for both services 90$! They charged me for a full pedicure!

And after a few days all my nails broke up! They use very cheap products!

What is the point of taking an appointment when they are always late? Owner rudely telling me to come back in 15 min? Are you for real? I get that you are busy but clearly see you put your friend on the chair before me?

Pedicure was worst than ever, I use to come 12-15 times a year and now full disaster, dirty unsanitary place.

Truly disappointing and a waste of money, hopefully I don’t get an infection!

Worst manicure experience I’ve ever had. From the minute I sat down the woman doing my nails was in a foul mood. She kept complaining that I asked for a French manicure and when the manicure was complete it was white tips with no undercoat so you could see my natural nails under. It looked horrible! The skin around my nails was so damaged and she didn’t even clean under the nails. It was clear she didn’t want to be there.

When I let her know that it wasn’t what I wanted, she and the manager started to talk around me like I wasn’t even there sitting in front of them. The manager then proceeded to take off all the nail polish and told me to wait at the front. I waited for 10 minutes and then just told them I was leaving. I didn’t have time to go through the whole manicure again. My nails now look worst than when I walked in. This was my first and last time here. I highly recommend not trying this place. It may look nice from the outside but it leaves your nails looking and feeling gross!

My favourite ice cream place ever ️ there are not many options to choose but the quality is great.

Dont waste your money and your time, I did a basic nail shellac and after just 1week it damaged.

I was really excited to try Dahlia but the lady who did my nails was very rude to me and she did completely different design as she said that i don't have mucu time to design this.and they charged me 86 dollars and did nothing.don't waste your money.

My best friend and I went to go get pedicures and our nail technicians were absolutely amazing, Tina and Sapphire. We honestly can’t believe how great our experience was here. Thank you so much for providing us with a great service. 10/10 recommend.

I always came here for Louis but had to use a different nail tech because he was unavailable. Don't come here unless you get Louis.
The girl cut my cuticle and it was bleeding. The photo is from 10 days later, it still feels uncomfortable and hasn't grown back. Then at the counter, the machine tries to charge you an automatic 20% tip. Tired of the insane tipping expectations everywhere now just because companies don't feel like paying their workers more.

Love this place! An is the best, so sweet & meticulous. Third time with her & I won’t go anywhere else she’s fantastic!

I booked an appointment for after work because it’s my only day I have time, thinking I would get the same great service from Vivian (she did my last set the last time I was there) I got the complete opposite
The lady was wearing a green wool sweater, she was extremely rude towards me, she kept looking disgusted everytime I would tell her how I want my nails, I switched to just one solid colour instead of my initial design I had in mind going in there because I wanted to be away from her as soon as I could. She kept pushing my fingers away when they’d gently touch her hand Asif I had a disease or something. She tried leaving my nails where the polish wasn’t even leveled I could see spots through to my nail. It was absolutely disgusting behaviour. I don’t know if I will go back
I wish I got Vivian because this woman didn’t give the customer service anyone should go through. I felt absolutely offended and I just wanted to leave

Went to dahlia for the first time today with my family who’s in from out of town for a wedding. We were all so happy with our experience and I am so grateful for all the service the staff has given. Their work is amazing! Definitely going back! (I personally had Vivian for my pedicure and sapphire for my nails and I was NOT disappointed) thanks again and I’ll see you soon!

Great availabilities and variety of services including dip powder and open on Mondays! I've only been twice but the quality job has been nice.

Been coming here for 4 years now and it’s amazing. Everyone is so nice and always happy to help. They are so skilled I’m never disappointed. 10/10 would recommend!

The owners of this lovely business could not be kinder, more customer oriented and accommodating. I have been going to their Fairview salon since it was upstairs next to the Bay. When they were moved by the landlord to their current spot it took a while to get business hopping again as the Sears store was a huge black hole and few clients were parking in that area any more. Then came COVID!

They not only survived these challenges, they emerged even better than ever as now that part of Fairview is the new best location because of Simons and the new food court there.

As a long time customer I couldn’t be happier as nobody deserves it more than they do. And I bring the world's worst natural nails to them, something they always manage to fix and enhance beyond expectations. Imagine what they can do if you are blessed with good nails already?

Their technicians are talented, friendly and experts at their craft.

You can’t go wrong by booking a nail service at Dahlia.

Honestly, they have one of the worst organization systems that I have ever seen. I wanted to treat my mom to get her nails done with me for my sister’s wedding (my mom has NEVER gotten her nails done before). I went in person a week before my supposed appointment, and PHYSICALLY saw the man at the counter write down my name and phone number along with how many people it was for. Fast forward to when the time of the appointment came, we went in and they claimed it was never there. I had to take an hour break during work for this (which meant I had to stay working into later) and was so upset that they wasted an hour of my time for nothing. 10/10 DO NOT recommend! Save your money and go elsewhere, where the person at the counter is not only mad at you because you’re informing him that you did in fact make an appointment, but also because your time is precious and never let other people belittle you or make you feel like you were crazy (even if it was clearly written and I even went with someone to book the appointment who was so upset and angry for me that they couldn’t find it).

Walked in for a pedicure with shellac polish, which I normally have in Ottawa for $45 plus tax. I acknowledge receiving excellent service for the same exact treatment HOWEVER I was charged $74.95 a whomping $30 extra. Outrageous price, so will never go back and do not recommend their service.

2 stars because it’s clean and organized but the nails. Not what i wanted, no explaining to the nail technician, rude and 80$. Atleast if they were nice, i wouldn’t care.

I’ve visited this place for years now and I must say it keeps getting better. Did my nails with the amazing Louis and he made my day. He’s very talkative and does amazing nails. I totally recommend going and asking for him. I personally think you get what you pay for especially with Louis.

Great for special designs with acrylic, friendly staff, professional work however very expensive for regular shellac mani/pedi compared to other places nearby.

I just had my nails done here! I showed the guy who was doing my nails what i wanted and i got the exactly what I asked for! The colours and the shape are exactly what I showed him and i am not disappointed at all! The service is amazing too! I highly recommend coming here:)

C’est la pire place ou je suis aller faire mes ongles! Deux jours plus tard, 2 ongles se sont casser, ma pédicure est affreuse et mes faux ongles sont vraiment mal fait! Au moment de payer ils augmentent le prix.je n’aurais jamais du payer, dernière fois que je vais la bas. Je le conseil à personne! Habituellement je vais a une place au centre eaton bien meilleur que cela, la bas pedicure, manicure pour 95$ et c’est tellement plus beau, ici 140$ pour les 2 complètement ridicule. NE PAS ALLER!

Don't let the prices and language barrier discourage you, my nails stayed on and would not budge even after 3 weeks. They even introduced me to a cuticle oil for my dry cuticles. The reason why the prices are on the higher end is because the products are top quality and the place is always clean and well maintained. Ask for Jessi, she has a lot of talent with designs and knows what she's doing.

I just wanted to check prices, but they had time to take me right away, I still don't know the price list. They had a sanitize station and hand washing. There are shower curtains and plexi glass between clients, but I had to walk really close to the lady they sat behind and beside me. My manicurist did a good job, but i didn't feel understood, as I didn't get the correct colour (looked more green under their lighting) and I've never had tips built from gel before. But the finished product was really nice and its lasted over 10 days. I might go back sooner if it wasn't so expensive. This manicure included 2 "art" nails for a total 72$

I really wanted to love this place despite the incredibly high prices but unfortunately I had a horrible experience. I showed the lady the picture of the nails I wanted and after assuring me she’s able to recreate the design, she first convinces me to get another colour because it’ll look “classier” then proceeds to botch the design. The lady was also complaining about how bad my cuticles are and literally started ripping my skin off to the point where I started bleeding. Still, I did not complain but after the nails fell after only 3 days and when they couldn’t find a spot for me to fix them that’s when I really got disappointed, nothing seemed to be going right.

This place is absolutely disappointing. I work within the mall and my colleagues and I allllll have had the experience with the nails not lasting after 3-6 days. This place is unreasonably overpriced! And for how quickly they break. The material they use must be cheap! Also customer service is lacking! The guy answering the phone barely speaks English and has no empathy wether or not he looses clients. GO ELSEWHERE.

Customer service was horrible. I went in to just ask about a nail shape and I barely finished my question and the lady was just saying "no". I tried to ask something else and she just kept saying "no".

I had an absolute horrible time. They botched the design presented, even after assuring me she could do it.

Then asked to get it off because it was horrendous and the lady went ahead and started manhandling me to get the nails off and leave. She then started talked smack to another customer about me and I left horrified. I will never go there again.

Worst experience I ever had in my life. The lady that I had made 4 of nails nails bent up; therefore, making them easier to fall off. I had a nail fall of 6 six days after my appointment, and I don't do anything in my everyday life that would make them fall off faster (i.e. In water frequently). She made me bleed and hurt me immensely. Also, when I picked out the colours that I wanted, she said that she couldn't do the sparkly white nail because it would take 3 colours instead of 2, and it was "too complicated". She never discussed prices with me nor the type of nails that I wanted (acrylic or gel), so when I got to the front desk to pay, she wanted to charge me 64$ plus tax and tip, when I wanted acrylic, not gel. She also never discussed any prices with me either. Very awkward and dull, and makes the appointment feel very long and boring. Never going back, and would definitely not recommend.

Tina did an awesome job my nails r gorgeous, my shellac n acrylics here usually last a month or longer

Been going for many years, no complaints. Over priced? Yes but its CLEAN, and the job gets done. I like their work, staff friendly.

Job they did and what a horrible customer services they offer, I went Tuesday to get my nails done and they did a really bad job so I went back on Thursday and they didn’t want to fix it, they were talking between themselves and made me feel so uncomfortable, meanwhile everyone kept on looking at me and at the end they did the same thing instead of fixing it I had nail polish all over my fingers and they didn’t even take the time to cleanup.very frustrating!

Terrible service. The particular lady who did my nails threw a fit and stormed off for 10 minutes when I didn’t like how one of the colours looked on my nail (the colour inside the bottle was deceivingly brighter than the packaging) when she first applied it and asked to change colours. They’re also quite mean.

The first time I went there, it was a good experience but all of that went downhill last night. I went with my mother to get a pedicure and an underarm wax. The woman who waxed me was extremely rude and telling me my armpit hair was too ''long'' and ''thick". Like excuse me, we all have different types of hair and her judgement was unnecessary and uncalled for. Then, I got my pedicure done and the lady kept telling me that my toe nails were too long.do these people not understand what good service is? The pedicure is nice and all but it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. I'm never going back there again and never getting any part of my body waxed there either. The ladies who did our nails left without saying goodbye when our nails were getting dried. The owners were extremely rude and it was way too overpriced. Don't waste your time and money with these impolite people.

The place is extremely clean and professional. But everything is extremely over priced. As a college student, I love their work but seriously can’t afford it anymore. On a second note, I called to cancel my appointment and the man who answered just said something, sounded aggravated and hang up on me. I assumed he’d call me back but he never did. I’ll assume he hung up on me by mistake but. I guess we’ll see.

Worst experience of my life. I had called and made an appointment on a Saturday for the following day and was given a 1: 15pm time. On Sunday morning, I receive a phone call asking to reschedule my appointment for later in the afternoon, which I told them no as I had planned my day and since it takes an hour and a half for biogel nails there was no way I could reschedule for later. We agreed to keep my appointment time. About 20 mins later I receive another call asking if I could come at 1: 00 instead of 1: 15. I rushed to get ready as I don’t live in the West Island and got there at 12: 55pm. I literally waited until 1: 30, as they had no one available to do my nails. So I got there at 1: 00 for no reason at all. As the technician started on my nails she completely made them too short and changed the shape of my nails and blamed it on me. She made two of my nails bleed because she was rushing for her next appointment. I have been going to this place for years but it has really gone down hill. They used to have better service which is why I was okay with spending so much money there. I will not be returning.

This place does not even deserve a 1 star. They are money hungry. It appears that they only care about what goes in their pocket in the moment. Don’t care whether you are a repeat customer as they are choosing $$$ over customer service. Well they will soon learn when their business suffers and people start to catch on to their tactics.
I was treated with disrespect. Firstly, I was not spoken to in the language of my choice and the girl (Kathy) was so rude to me because I only wanted straight shellac. No manicure. No added manicure means less $$ for them. She wouldn’t even let me wash my hands when she was buffing my nails. Her explanation was because only people who get a manicure get to wash their hands. My sister was with me doing the exact same service and she was told to wash her hands before they applied the shellac. Speaking of my sister, when I called to book the appointment, I told them that it was for two people. You would think that we Would be seated together. Nope! And when I questioned it, they told me it’s because the people chosen to service us, were not stationed next to each other. Ok. Again, not there for the customer.
Kathy also aggressively told me to put my hand in the machine. The way a parent would tell a child. For the first time in my life, I left no tip. How could I? Especially when she treated me with such disrespect. She also told me to take my hand out before the machine buzzed. The owner or man at the front counter came over and told me that because I wasn’t getting a manicure, that they could not guarantee that my shellac would stay on. Seriously? Do you think I am an idiot?
NEVER AGAIN! Bad business, bad service. Only there for themselves. My polish is see through and was not even applied properly.
Bye bye Dahlia, you will not survive. Plenty more nail salons that care about customer service and who will definitely outlive your journey in the business world. Business owners with forward thinking.
Just remember, one happy customer tells one person. One UNHAPPY customer tells 20. And now with social media, the message will get out to many more. Good luck to you.

I usually get my nails done here and it's always a pleasant experience. They always listen to what I want done and take care to do it right! It's a bit more pricey than other places but worth it!
