DAVIDsTEA - Les Galeries d'Anjou

I recently visited David's Tea with my family, hoping to explore their products and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience. However, our visit was marred by a shocking display of unprofessionalism and utter disrespect from the staff.

Upon entering, we encountered two young employees: a girl with blonde hair and a guy with brown curly Afro hair. To our dismay, the male employee spotted us and then proceeded to engage in a conversation with his female colleague, completely ignoring our presence for a full minute. He repeatedly stole glances at us, sharing laughter and conversation with his female colleague while completely disregarding our presence. It became increasingly evident that we were being ignored intentionally. On top of that, we were not greeted by either of them.

Finally, when we called out to one of them, it was the blonde girl who approached us, while the male employee continued to feign busyness. We politely informed her that the male employee had clearly seen us but chose to disregard us as customers, emphasizing that such behavior was unacceptable in customer service.
Regrettably, her response was far from understanding or professional. She nonchalantly brushed off our concerns with absurd statements like, "Well, these things can happen, " insinuating that such neglect of customers was acceptable. To make matters worse, as we continued to express our dissatisfaction and stress the importance of professional conduct, she interrupted us mid-sentence, displaying a passive-aggressive attitude, and abruptly asked what we wanted to buy.

Shocked and appalled by this atrocious behavior, we decided it was best to leave. Never before have I encountered such a disgraceful level of disrespect and indifference from staff in any establishment. This incident left me deeply disappointed, and I would caution anyone seeking quality customer service to think twice before visiting David's Tea.

I really like their products, they make offers suddenly, the girls are friendly, but I didn't like that a few days ago I bought 3 times in a single day, but the problem is that they no longer give paper receipts, they use a tablet and cell phone to pay, you can't know how they charge, they send the invoice electronically, but not all of us have internet on the street and I couldn't see my 3 invoices at the time, I expected to see them when I got home and there was nothing. Now the problem is how to know what I bought and how they charged and I couldn't pay my credit card, I called by phone and they never answer, that took away my time, and I lost my points for the excellent purchases I made, also if I want to make a I can't return it because there is nothing to prove that I bought from them because I don't have invoices. I gave them my written email to avoid a mistake, and they made the mistake anyway. I didn't like that they don't give a paper receipt, even in low-price stores they give a paper invoice and the girl takes longer with a tablet. That did bother me, I am a customer of many years. You can't pay cash either, they only accept credit and debit cards.

The service is excellent, the personnel is really friendly and helpful of everything you ask them. The place is small but you can find a variety of flavours of good tea. They offered me new teas and I absolutely love them.

Don't accept cash. It's legal tender and should be accepted. Especially since I had exact change and didn't need anything back. I would not go buy a prepaid credit card with my cash just to buy $5-$10 tea. Cash legally needs to be accepted and you should put a till with small amounts for people who still use cash

2 employee. One super helpful and working, the other talking in the corner taking 10 mn to make a matcha.

Le thé acheté est toujours bon et frais. Bien sûr, ce n'est pas donné, mais pour un amateur c'est un beau luxe.
Les employés sont courtois et assez au courant de ce qu'ils proposent.
P. S. Le thé à l'avoine est un pur délice!

Nous avons reçus un excellent service malgré le fait qu'il y avait plusieurs client. Le commis en plus d'être très sympatique a su répondre à chacune de nos questions et nous conseiller.

The girl was not really helpful when I asked for specific type of tea, so she suggested me not something I was looking for.

Overall okay experience. Always like David's Tea otherwise.
