Butter Chicken is Great here! Nice little place for takeout with a few a seats, and a very simple menu full of great tasting food at moderate prices. Basically, they serve lamb, butter chicken, tandori chicken, etc.and you can choose to have it three (3) ways, wrap, combo, or on rice. Price depends on which way you want it. This place is LONG awaited for result of a caterer (I cant spell) finally opened a mini restaurant in front of the kitchens. So, the food is very yummy, and they are willing to adjust to how hot you like it. Good Fluffy naan bread. This is a mini-strip mall, so parking is free, just a bit limited. This mall is handy for getting supper, as it includes a pizza place, and a dep.to grab milk on the way home, so everyone is happy.

First time ordering from Dawat. We had the Butter chicken and it was Amazing! Calling to place an order was easy and delivery was fast and free. Absolutely recommend!

Its just really amazing. The food was delicious and service was also great. Would really recommend everyone. It made me remember the real indian taste that i have really been missing since i came to Canada.

The clients had better sense of hospitality then the restaurant itself, we order butter chicken, lame curry and tandoori chicken even though they charged us full price we received no rice no vegetables and charged us for the bread, the most expensive I found was the mango yogurt 4$ a cup, yes I agree it was delicious mango/yogurt. Personally I won't go back there and the taste of food at spicebros was much better to my taste.

We visited there for lunch, and the food and service both were excellent. Ravinder took our order, served us and took care of everything perfectly! I thought she was the owner, because of her perfection and the way she did things with ownership, but later realised she is an employee. Good places becomes good because of good workers like her! The food was excellent too! We loved it so much that we went there again for dinner the same day!:) :)

Butter chicken and masala chicken biryani are too awesome. Tandoori items are good too.

Has a very limited seating capacity in the restaurant. They have wonderful catering services too and can take bulk orders.

Wish they start their delivery services towards Lasalle and downtown (not available as far as I know). But worth a drive to restaurant for butter chicken

The food was amazing and the staffs hospitality was exceptional. Love their biriyani, lamb curry and the mango lacchi (uff) delicious.

Ordered thru doordash - food is very good, eventhough we ordered one dish not spicy, but i came normal.

My favorite Indian food in the area. More of a take-out than eat in since the restaurant is very small. Very friendly staff. The quality of the ingredients used is obvious. Channa samosa: yes, please!

The place needs a little cleaning service but the food is amazing! I am very sensitive to Indian food due to various spices but even tasting 4 different meals from Dawat my stomach is still happy! And the taste is sooo

Absolutely love the food! It’s so delicious. Had me going there five days in a row. Women at the front is very nice. The chef really knows how to cook. Owner is really nice guys. Overall the whole team is nice & service is excellent. Food is always fresh! If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, come to Dawat you won’t be disappointed. So happy I discovered this place! This place has the best food you can have. Chana bhatura was very delicious and tasty. The quantity was much larger compared to the price of the dishes. Would definitely visit when I am in town.

I would like to let everyone know that food of this place is scrumptious and the staff is nice as well except one of their staff member, who is extremely rude and non courteous which is extremely disappointing.

Me and my friend did dine in few days ago. God I love food over here. If you miss your Mom’s hand food. This is the place for you. Staff was friendly and cooperative. I can’t recommend any dish because everything taste so good.

My first review was 5 star because food and lady who serve food (maybe owner) was so good. But today this girl at reception through bag of food at me and treated like she’s doing some kind of favor. Need to learn some etiquette or should leave the job ASAP.

Très bon restaurent indien authentique. Le restaurent n'a l'air de rien de l'extérieur, mais il ne faut pas le sous-estimer. Tout est frais et remplis de saveur et le pain naan est délicieux. À esseyer!

We got some takeout from here and loved the food. Every thing we tried chole battoore, chicken tikka, tandoori and naan were superb. Authentic flavours and they even made some chat which was excellent. Will definitely be back to get more, so glad we found this place!

Taste wise food is great and prices are economical too.

Just 2 hours drive from Ottawa, it is going to be our stop over now for our Montreal trips.
