Dawson Community Center

BGC Dawson has been my son's second home for 5 years. The walk safe program for after-school care is second to none. The programming takes all children (and dietary needs) into account, the animators are so involved in the well being and needs of the kids, and all in all have so much fun together.

It's been a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all the kids I know there too. I can't recommend the center more. The team is simply amazing!

Shutting down a food bank that had previously run on volunteer power in the name of « focussing on other programs » during a cost of living crisis is irrépréhensible. The statement posted is disgusting, no responsibility taken

Le camp de jour est formidable. Mes enfants ont adorés. Ils ont des locaux bien équipé. L'équipe est sympatique professionnelle et bien organisée. Super amusant et sécuritaire.

Extremely friendly, helpful staff with great family oriented programs. I know the building might look unassuming but I highly recommend this for families who need a friendly place to get a break without every activity being highly structured and rigid.

Much needed services in the community. The space is very nice and the staff is friendly. I love going to the baby playgroup on Wednesday mornings.

If you are a new parent in the community and looking for a place you can go to embrace you and your children please ho see the amazing staff at Dawson. I was apart of the parents and tots group with my 2 year old daughter when I moved to Verdun and not only did I find caring and loving caregivers during play time for my daughter but I gained a family and more knowledge of choices in my community.
