Have been there three times over the last 3 years, last time was not very good but we decided to give it another try. For us a good smoked meat is like a treat, but what a disappointment it was. The meat was very dry and crumbly and the fries were horrible (funny there is a newspaper clipping on the wall saying they have the best fries!) It was quite pricey for poor quality. Better smoked meat, better fries and better price at La Belle Province. Will never return.

We were a (party of four this time) and all of us were really satisfied with the smoked meat sandwiches.
The meat was tender and not salty, with the perfect amount of spices.
The fries are cut on the premises and are just like mother use to make.
Staff is pleasant and smiling. Very cozy decor.
Plenty of free parking.

We did take out. Smoked meat is very good here. Great flavour. It’s a very small restaurant in an older building so that’s why I took off a star for atmosphere but service and food was great.

I love this place. The smoked meat is, in my opinion, some of the best in the city. I get the medium fat sandwich and I always love it. I like the decor in the restaurant and the seats are super comfortable.

Very disappointed with my last visit. Have been a regular customer for many, many years. Always ordered the exact same thing- a large FAT smoke meat sandwich (not many places know how to do it like that), a large family size fries, and a lean smoked meat sandwich. All for take out. Returned home to discover that they had given me a LEAN.sandwich. I drove back assuming that perhaps they mistakenly switched my order with another. When I explained to them that it’s a lean and not a FAT as I ordered, the chef behind the counter yelled at me saying “ THATS HOW IT IS! THE MEAT IS THE MEAT! I ALWAYS MAKE IT LIKE THAT! I explained to him that he always makes it the way I asked, and that this is not what I ordered. He shrugged his shoulders and ignored me. I left them the sandwich, returned home, and my wife couldn’t even take a second bite of her lean sandwich. I took the rest of the food and went back to ask for a refund. They didn’t even try to offer something else or to resolve the situation. They didn’t even refund the full amount! Only for the fries, because as he said “ you ate the sandwiches “ (aside from a couple of bites we did not). I have never been treated like that in ANY restaurant in my life! Absolutely unbelievable, the WORST SERVICE EVER! The chef is arrogant and should not be in the restaurant business. If I could leave a negative 5 review I would.

They say they deliver but don't.if they lie about service that they don't do, I can imagine the food.

Worse experience I’ve had in a restaurant. It was dirty, bathrooms dirty. Smoke meat was cool, fries poutine warmed up in microwave, service there was none.
And price way too expensive for what they offer.

You enter for the first time, its a shock! Very small, bench in a poor condition, no renovation since they open. Prices on a board over the head writen in light green over white. Its not clear what's the special and when you find it, there is no price. Small smoked meat sandwich, coleslaw in a little cup, one cucumber and big fries. Soft drink free with the special. My meat was medium and full of fat! Pretty gross when you have to remove them from your mouth. I should have take the one with less fat.like proposed.

I stepped back in time, after driving 4000 miles from the west coast. It's small, eclectic and so very much what I love about Montreal. The combo platter at 28 bucks isn't cheap, but that 3inches of stacked smoked meat, on light rye handcut fries and coleslaw was exactly what I needed after 3 decades away from la belle province. My lady had the chefs salad, and it was fresh handchopped with a delicious balsamic dressing. Full dinner plate serving. Loved it all, wish I lived closer

This is a little gem located in an unfortunate spot that, from my outsiders perspective, holds this place back from being well known and frequented. They make a great smoke meat sandwhich, similar to smoke meat pete, and yet they are much less well known. They deserve more attention and I greatly enjoyed the meal.

Thought I'd give this a try after being at SM Petes 2 weeks ago. Very disappointed with Delibes does not deserve it's high rating. The meat was semi tough and salty, the fries were semi fries and more like breakfast potatoes and as one guy said a meager portion of coleslaw and small pickle. The place is in poor condition. NOT your best choice.

Great Montreal style sandwich close to the airport. Frendly service with delicious food. Recommend

Awesome old world setting. Reminds me of local restaurants my parents used to bring me too when I was a kid. Something that was common and that now stands out.

Best Smoked Meat in the West Island! If you don't want to trek all the way to Schwartz's you can get your fix here, same recipe. Their sour dill pickels will collapse your face!

Terrible last 2 times we ordered was disgusting. We decided to give it a try and are just as disappointed. Food cold and wet. Hair in the fries, missing items. Terrible service when we called back to complain.

The phone line doesn't ring when you call so I placed an order online instead. Got back a confirmation email. Drove all the way to the restaurant and met two clueless employees who had no idea that they accepted online orders and confirmed there is no phone line. I left. Really disappointed. Remove the online order option and phone number off your site and write down that you only take orders in person to save people's sanity please.
