Stayed for only one night; definitely need to come back for a longer stay!

I had such a wonderful visit - the staff were all friendly and helpful (thanks Nezha, Barbara, and Thomas)

Très mauvais service avec le corporatif. Nous avions loué une salle, à gros prix, qui devait inclure le service d'eau toute la journée. La salle était très mal située, avec des colonnes en plein milieu de la salle, et le service a été loin d'être acceptable. Toute l'après-midi, nos invités avaient soif ; nous avons demandé à plusieurs reprises de recevoir de l'eau.et ça n'a été qu'à 17h30 avant que nous ayions un refill, Nous en avons fait part au coordonnateur, Alexis Rousselle, qui n'a pas pris au sérieux notre plainte et n'a suggéré aucune solution pour nous accommoder. Nous n'utiliserons plus les hôtels Marriott pour nos évènements corporatifs, très déçu.

Feels extremely disrespected. The hotel receptionist and porter made eye contact, and snicker, when I didn't tip the porter. My friend and I all saw that. That is really mean, rude, and disrespectful. Welcoming guests and carrying luggage is your day-to-day tasks. I am just retrieving my luggage, not even asking you to carry my luggage. The receptionist is wearing a glass, and the porter is with a bun. Would give it a zero rating if I could.

Très bel hôtel! Près du centre ville et de très grande chambre pour le prix! Je vais y retourner!

Only complaint is about their balconies.

We stayed for a couple nights while in town for a hockey game. We have only positives to share. Parking was very easy and convenient, one of the best showers we have ever experienced in a hotel, decor slightly dated but extremely clean, deluxe king room was massive, central location and easy to access via vehicle or transit, excellent free wifi connection, mini fridge available in room, and all rooms had a large balcony which is quite rare. We would stay here again next time we are in Montreal.

I had my first trip after the lockdowns and chose this hotel in downtown Montreal. I had an amazing stay and experience. Friendly staff and professional. This hotel is located in downtown Montreal. Walking distance to shopping centres, restaurants, bars, museums, and old Montreal. I recommend this hotel.

Hotels big or small in a major plaza live by their reputation. Expensive yes. Convenient yes. A world apart. If you can afford enjoy and let it be!

We stayed here 1 night to take an early flight the next day. They no longer have shuttle service, but they do have a free taxi ride to the airport, so that was a much better option! They were very nice about changing our room for us when we asked. Nice staff and adequate rooms, with firm and soft pillows offered. Would stay again if needed

Delta Montreal has the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever met. A huge thank you to Marie-José for making my niece feel welcome and keeping her entertained. Room was clean, pool was great, easy to park and walk places. I would definitely stay here again. Big shout out to the friendly staff who answered all my questions whether on the phone before arriving or once we were there.

Outdated furnishings and an absolutely terrible carpet in the suite. No overhead lighting in the room. And no switches on the wall to control the floor or desk lamps. You have to switch each one on manually. Our room had a balcony which is nice but it had no chairs. The pool was so busy on Saturday, that it couldn't be used. About 10 people all in the hot tub at the same time. The next day it was empty so that may be just a Saturday thing. They also allow non-guests to use their gym and pool facilities, which is unacceptable. These should be for guest use only and the general public shouldn't be conducting swimming lessons in the pool that the hotel staff aren't even aware of the schedule for.

Nice hotel in downtown Montreal with balcony views. Comfy beds and very clean. Only negative is you have to pay for parking and the parking garage is very tight.

The staff was very friendly and responsive for sure Thank you to Marlene, Anne, Anique, and Sylvain, but the hotel rooms are dated and the condition of the rooms shows it. We understand during covid the service has been adjusted, however, room service should not come in a brown bag. HDMI cables not working properly called maintenance to check on it, after a quick adjustment the cables worked for another 15 minutes before blinking out again. Held Xoom meeting without using HDMI because of the time crunch. Our room was prepaid thru expedia.ca but was charged $649.72 after we checked out. I contacted the accounting dept and was assured that I would receive a confirmation that the charge would be reversed. Did not receive an email, contacted the accounting department again, and left a message with my email address, 3 days later still have not received confirmation that the charges have been reversed.

It's very rare that I will take the time to write a review but on this occasion I had to.

This past weekend I took my partner to Montreal so that I could do a surprise proposal. We booked in at the Delta Hotel and the whole weekend did not disappoint.

From the minute we set foot in the hotel and checked in the staff were super helpful, friendly and always had smiles on their faces.

I spoke with the staff on the first night we got there to see if they could help me do something special for the room and it was safe to say they did not disappoint!

From proposing on top of the Mount in the day to arriving back at the hotel to get ready for an evening out celebrating, I walked in the room to a bottle of Prosecco on ice, some amazing balloons, bath robes and a hand written card from several members of their team congratulating my partner and me.

I was fortunate to get to meet the concierge (A wonderful lady) who set up the room and every occasion we saw her she was the most helpful and thoughtful person. The front desk ladies who checked us in on the evening were always ready to help with directions, recommendations and all contributed to such an unforgettable weekend away.

These employees are a huge testament to the standards and people that Delta employ and would highly recommend considering Delta for just a visit to the city or even a celebration like mine.

Such wonderful people and so glad we chose to stay with them. 10/10 will be going back.

Stayed here for 5 days with my companion. Very accommodating staff, had a microwave sent to our room which was really useful for our trip. The room was smaller than expected but was large enough for two people, and had a balcony.

Old and fairly decrepit hotel unbecoming of the asking price. The elevators' programming in times of covid restrictions are completely absurd and inadequate (can't ride with other groups, but elevators still stop at all floors called before reaching the requested floor from the current riders), meaning that you could take 25 flights of stairs faster than waiting for the elevators to take you down. Use the maintenance staff elevators until Delta sorts their stuff out like most other hotels have (program the elevators to not stop at intermediate floors until current riders have reached their selected floor, then go to nearest next request)

Nice ammeneties and good service. Only bad point is the fact that they haven't reprogrammed the elevators to account for COVIDs regulations. It takes ages to go from floor to floor.

Memorial Stay, I stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights with my family last August, as QQC member, treated as an Ambesder/ VIP Guest. What a lovely staff, excellent service from front desk to housekeeping everyone was smiling and helpful, the swimming pool was amazing. Definitely we will come back.

For service i give 5 star.however bed was loose.we request to fix which they did it right away but after few hours same issue.in washroom water pressure was very low.hard to adjust cold / hot

The reason for the 5 stars is because we got rooms with balconies, which is a rarity and one of my favorite features. Check in was easy. The rooms were large and clean. The bed was comfortable which is very important. Some of the furniture does look a little dated and it would have been nice if the TV was larger or could be moved closer but realistically you shouldn't be spending much time in the room. The hotel is located in the downtown area and close to a lot of attractions, it's about a 20 minute walk to the old port. The city bike rental racks are right outside the hotel so that's always an option. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel says there is contact free checkin but when you checkin online you still have to go to the checkin desk. Description of the room says there is a sofa bed in it there is not. Other than that its a decent hotel good location. 20 min walk to old Port.

Excellent, high quality Hotel. Stayed there with my family including three teenage boys, and the hotel was able to cater to all our needs. The pool, workout room, and showers are all clean and well appointed.
They have a great dining room with reasonable prices and a tasty variety of appetizers and entrees.

The rooms are all lovely, spacious and very clean. Housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient at every request. The hospitality team at the front desk were always friendly, patient, and knowledgeable.

And you can't beat the location. Right downtown beside McGill U.with only a 20-minute walk either way to Old Montreal to the south, or the base of Parc Mt Royal to the north.
And the Delta chain is now part of the Marriott Hotel family so that's even more gravy for ya. You should go.

The check-in service was very appalling! Check-in staff didn’t tell me what my total bill will be before charging me.she literally just screamed “insert your card! ”
Once billing was done, she said “Have a good day! ”
No information given on the facilities available for use, no instructions on wifi (which upon getting these credentials ended up to be very poor and I sed my mobile data)
No direction as to how to access/find my way to my room.
It was a very terrible experience!
Hallways are not well maintained! The elevator looks very granny and as though it hasn’t been serviced/replaced in years. The balcony has a lot of rust and accumulated water on the ground.
This hotel downtown should be a 1 star hotel. Never coming here! Worst hotel visit in Canada! I could have as well booked a comfort inn.

We all enjoyed our stay here. Location is just fine and fairly close to St Catherine street. Check in was easy and the hotel staff were friendly. Paid underground parking with in and out privileges was fair and convenient. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The Balcony was a really nice touch for some fresh air without having to go downstairs all the time. Showerheads could use an upgrade for sure lol but that won’t affect my review. Nice hotel I’m sure I will stay here again someday

Premièrement les normes sanitaires sont très bien respectées, chambre très propre avec balcon extérieurs, se sont les seule à offrir un balcon à Montréal. Soucis du détail. Le chef exécutif est juste wow, tout sur le menu est excellent et les portions très généreuses. Stationnement intérieur refait à neuf. Bon séjour!

The experience was good. Room was extra clean. Although most things weren't available due to covid it was very nice. Check in was very easy and the receptionist was nice. The parking is close for now so you will have to park beside the hotel. The instructions weren't that clear but we figured it out. Room was spacious. I just wished I knew that I had to ask for a microwave to be in my room. I only found out at check out. They need to put more than 2 glasses in the bedroom.
It was very peaceful and the view from the balcony is nice. Can't wait to visit in the summer.

Petite sortie en couple pour oublier la covid, le confinement le couvre-feu. Excellent séjour, la vue de notre chambre du 18e avec balcon était superbe. Les repas du service aux chambres étaient réellement un délice. Situé dans le quartier des spectacles on a pu faire une courte marche et apprécier les différentes structures de lumières érigées par la ville. On y reviendra sûrement.

Deuxième séjour à cet hôtel pour profitez de l'excellent service aux chambres pour deux nuits. Les repas y sont vraiment excellents. On avait pris une chambre king deluxe au 19e étage. Grande chambre confortable très lumineuse avec vue imprenable sur le centre-ville. En plein quartier des spectacles, il y a plein d'activités à quelques minutes de marche. Ce fut une belle fin de semaine!

Great stay with a truly covid safe system to use the facilities. Can't beat the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up!

I stayed 2days. There door lock was not working every time you try to open your door. So you go down AGAIN and get it fix. Too much hassle. Other wise breakfast was good staff was nice speak good manners. Room was good size and clean.

Clean place. Decor looks high end. Well lite atmosphere. The view is great. Very very close to everything u need to see in downtown. Shopping. Place des art

Excellent hotel for business or personal travel.
- great location, is within walking distances of most places
- room is clean and modern, and quite spacious
- TV is mounted to the wall and swivels
- bathroom is huge with great water pressure
- gym is very well equipped, spacious, and modern
- has a decent sized pool
- has a room for younger kids to play in between the gym and pool
- staff were all very friendly and pleasant

Would highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Montreal.

Hotels floors were filthy. Didn't look like they swept floors in over a week. Cancelled reservation. 4 star hotels should not look like this.

The halls and rooms had a musty smell.
The balcony was very dirty. We had to call to have it cleaned.
The air conditioning was not working.we had to call again to have that fixed
The staff was great and took care of these issues quickly

With small flaws but basically good. Mostly nice service. Internet connection with some lags. Very good beds and clean rooms. Breakfast buffet sufficient yet not very big.

Clean, spacious room, close to metro and in downtown area, very convenient to many tour spots and museum but for an older hotel, inside carpet is a bit old. The main entrance is at a back Street, difficult to find and there are very few street parking spots around as in most big cities and you likely need to use the hotel expansive paid parking.

This is a wonderful place to stay. I have been a Marriott member for over 30 years and the Delta is very impressive. Wonderful rooms wonderful staff special thanks to Mary J. Hostess in the club. She went above and beyond. Excellent service

We had an excellent experience at the Delta Montréal hotel. The supervisor, Marianne, was very courteous, helpful and kind. She assisted us throughout the entire stay and treated us with the utmost respect. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

It was a decent hotel, nothing special. Wish I did more research, I would have chosen someplace else.
Lobby area and staff were nice. The rooms & balconies are a little run down, nothing modern. The best part of the hotel was the bartender (Mona, I think). We enjoyed chatting with her and viewing her artwork that was on display.

It's a really old hotel that needs updating like Marriott is doing to all the Delta Hotels. You can probably get better hotel for the same price. You get a balcony that's never been cleaned so its 50sq ft that you're paying for which you won't be using.

This hotel is nothing short of extraordinary. The VIP room on the 23rd floor is the way to go. For minimal cost they serve a nice breakfast, light dinner (appetizers) and coffee, tea and cold drinks all day. MJ who is one of your hostesses made our stat extra special with her hospitality and Jocelyn who works in the gym was wonderful. We plan on returning!

My wife and I stayed here for my birthday. Location is great! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They had a little surprise waiting in our room for my b-day! I'd definitely recommend staying here and I'd stay here again.

Quelle belle hôtel bien situé. 2 pas du quartier des spectacles et pleins de resto à pieds. Un balcon pour sortir à l'extérieur et la chambre est très silencieuse. Le personnel de l'hôtel est courtois, professionnel et s'assure que tout se passe bien. J'ai été salué à toute les fois que j'ai passé dans le lobby. À visiter lorsque vous devez séjourner près du centre ville.

I absolutely loved this hotel! I called them directly to book. They made everything so simple and smooth. We booked the club level room which gives you 24hr access to the club lounge. This includes free breakfast (eggs, toast, fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, bagels, cereals, yogurts, fresh juices, coffee, espresso, etc). And served happy hour (small appetizers like crab cakes, cheeses, bruscetta, etc, and free non alcoholic drinks). The pool and hot tub are a great size. We went swimming in the evening and there were only about 4 other people there. They delivered our robes to our room.

Smart TV so you can access Netflix!

Very reasonably priced. I will definitely visit the Marriott again!

A high quality hotel offering some rare amenities. The hotel offers friendly service, a great location, well-maintained rooms - some of which have great views of downtown Montreal. In terms of support for active living, the hotel is distinguished by not only an excellent fitness facility, but also by the fact that it includes a saltwater pool, an enclosed children's play area within the fitness center, and a squash court. The hotel is also notable for offering in house car rental franchise, a restaurant, and a spa.

Central location with pretty much all that Marriott chain has to offer. Piscine is usually empty so hot tub and sauna is quiet without people. Spacious rooms just like any other Delta hotels.

Clean, nice, spacious rooms. Very good service, dealt with our room issues right away and followed up with us the next day. Friendly and pleasant front desk staff and cleaning staff.

Perfectly and centrally located, close walk to many sights and attractions (Old Montreal, China town, Place des arts.) Good, safe area to walk at night. About 15 min walk from train station.

I visited the hotel for a workshop. The hotel is well situated in the heart of the city, and their conference rooms are well equipped for a variety of sessions.

The floor was under renovation. The room, on the other hand, has not been renovated. The bed was squeeking and the shower drain was clogged with hair.
