Since the switch over from a former contractor to this one, my family is happy that they have done their work even better than the previous one. I should have given them five stars if they can also offer a lower price for three over 85 seniors to shovel snow at the front door and walkway

After some dodgy experiences In the past i find their customer service to be pretty solid now. The call back, they make extra visits to fix it up when i complain.

He races around our circular driveway and leaves. Never clears behind our cars. Worst service we've ever had.

This year, the driver seems to enjoy dumping the snow directly in my walkway. Wasn’t an issue in years past. After many phone calls and having the walkway posted, the receptionist advised that he doesn’t have anywhere to put it.seems like the drivers from years past didn’t have this issue. I won’t be signing up with them next year, and if you don’t want to have to shovel twice I would recommend another company.

Update for evening: the driver has decided that directing the snow at my front door is better.

Terrible service! So bad that I am in fact making this review in the middle of the summer, after plenty of time to cool down from the bad experiences.

My list of complaints:
- Despite telling them on multiple occasions, they did not clear the entire width of my driveway time after time.
- left me a pile at the top of the driveway. In their defense, they sent a memo asking customers to not push out snow away from the garages until the next day, but obviously I didn't see that memo. It would've taken the driver an extra second to clear the pile so I'm shocked they didn't anyway and are hiding behind their memo when I complained to them.
- They don't hold themselves accountable! See my comment about the memo above. I would've thought that the terms of service were dictated by the contract, not some "nice to know" memo.
- ran over my reflective driveway marker 3 or more times and breaking it
- ran over their own driveway marker twice. Funny to see it bent.
- driver has poor aim and would had put snow onto my walkway a couple of times. Never had this problem with other snow clearing companies.

I decided to give grizzly a try after the Bo polouse fiasco - big mistake. I definitely will not be going back. Hopefully my neighbor's won't either (they all had similar experiences).

Edit: you can actually see the pile they left for my neighbor across the street in one of the pics. Unlike my pile, this pile was created by the driver pushing the snow up into a pile.

Do a thorough job on time but go on my grass a lot and run down their own sign leaving dangerous metal bar that could scratch my car.
Update Jan 9, I had a good response from Grizzly about this post and they will fix the problem. Very professional. I upgrade one more star.

I wouldn’t recommend this snow removal to any person, at all.
I did all my snow removal this year by myself even though I PAID to get it done by them!

Just for instant yesterday it snow 5 to 10 cm and they didn’t come at all and when I was doing my own driveway the next morning I see them come at 10: 00 the day after the snow fall, really!?
Such a pooooooorr excuse for a snow removal company! And always have excuses why they are not coming yet.

I have been a Grizzly customer for many years. They have always been conscientious and thorough in their work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Today, I wasn't able to get my car out of the driveway before the tractor passed by so he only was able to partially clear the snow. The driver saw me a few minutes later clearing the remainder by hand and stopped and offered to do another pass. He did an excellent job of cleaning the whole driveway.

Out of curiosity I just read all the comments before paying for the next season and i read a lot of negative comments but only a few were very good and it happens to be located near me, go figure I think it depands on who is assigned to clean the snow in your area? ! Because my experience for last year was very good also. The guy was very sharp, cleaned early in the morning and even was cleaning a small part on the side of the house because he could reach there with his machine.

Very poor service this winter. First big snowfall of 2020 and they did not show up all day, only came in the evening. February 18 th 10 cm of snow and again did not show up until 7pm. We cannot park on our street so really rely on the texts from them but that is either non-existent or not accurate.

14 hours between passes during a snow storm is unacceptable, I feel sorry for their receptionist. The way they are headed is down the same snowy driveway as bopelouse. Don’t waste your money on this company. If they can’t remove the snow by morning when we need to get to work or school what good is it to have them as a service. The website says snow will be removed by 6: 30 am and 5: 00 pm neither have been done. And what are they doing with 30 tractors, fixing them. This company is full of B. S.

As of Febuary 7 2020 snowstorm Montreal area of 20-30 cm of snow. Grizzly didnt show up to clean our driveway in our neighborhood.terrible services.deserve zero star. Grizzly own by DLC which is all the same thing.save yourself money and time.

1 star is one too many. Just awful. First snowfall of the year (2020). I receive an email the evening before outlining their game plan for the day. 8AM I move our cars out of the driveway. 12pm still nothing. City plough sweeps the street so we are blocked and cant get the cars back in. I call and speak with customer service. The woman tells me they are on their way and that its "strange that they haven't been by yet". 4pm still nothing. I call again. A new rep tells me she will call dispatch. 5pm still nothing. I call again and the woman is rude to me. Says she cant call me back because it's not her responsibility. Dispatch will call me. No call. 6: 45pnm they plow the driveway but only half of it. Office is closed. Worst service ever. They will hear from my lawyer. Change now before it's too late.

First and last time with grizzly snow removal, had to call every single time there was a big snow storm because they wouldn't pass by. I would receive text messages to move my car since they are on their way (my car was on the street since 10: 20am til 8pm) no one passed by when I called they said that they pass by within 20 minutes of receiving the text and said that someone has passed by, when i said it did not happen the lady on the phone told me she is sending someone right away (that was at 2pm) by 7 PM i called again to be told that all the workers were already in for the day and was promised to dispatch someone first thing in the morning.next day called by 9 am (still no snow removal) to have someone finally show up by noon that day.and it's like that most snow storms.very bad service, had to shovel snow myself a couple times.

Put in a little more money and do yourself a favor. GO with ANOTHER company.most companies pass by 3 to 4 times more often than grizzly.

Feb the biggest snow fall of 2019 no show second time this winter I will never hire them again in fact I will demand a refund they are advertising a service they don't provide.

They do not show up. I have had to shovel my driveway. I would also give a ZERO for service. I would like a refund. I will gladly spend money on a lawyer for my refund.

They hadn’t passed by 5: 30pm, we called, they said they would send someone right away. 6: 45 rolls around, still nothing. We call back, speak wth Evelyn (who said she is the supervisor), she tells us unfortunately the drivers are on break till 2am. Meaning our driveway won’t be done at all today. Our neighbors are also with Grizzly and their driveway was cleared, meaning the driver just drove past our house. Our neighbors also get their walkway/carport shoveled by the Grizzly team. The team happened to be there, (with shovels and a snowblower) while we were on the phone with Evelyn, when we asked if she can send them to clear our driveway, she just said no. There was zero effort to help us or reconcile the error they made. All I kept hearing was “sorry, there is nothing I can do” I guess she expects me, a 8 month pregnant woman to do it myself. I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service. I do not recommend this company.

New ownership doesn't care.tried to be the biggest in the west and has cleary out grown their capabilities. Some of the tractor drivers appear as they've never driven before. Will be changing for next year.

I wish I could give them Zero stars. I am with them for the 2019 year. They hardly ever pass. They always come in late afternoon and usually do a horrible job. Other companies come 3 or 4 times when there is snow. Grizzly comes once if you're lucky.

I'd also give a 0 star if possible. 2019 sucks! Not sure if they changed management and staff but the worst service this year. Barely pass by, do a horrible cleaning job - I can barely get into my car. Don't always shoot you a call before passing by and if they do the timing is completely inaccurate. Attitude! I've had to call in many times to ask them to pass by and clean my driveway. Last season with them!
