Deneigement Ricks

We live in DDO and started using Ricks this season after using a competitor the last few years. So far we find their service very good with snow being removed in a timely manner.

There have been two heavy snowfalls to date this season, and both times the service came past 4 PM, over 6 hours after the city came to clean the streets. The quality of the service is an unacceptable as the delay in receiving it: both times the service failed to adequately remove the snow at the end of the driveway and I had to go out and shovel it myself, as did most of my neighbours who also have this service. They are unreachable by phone. On the plus side, it has galvanized my decision to not renew my contract with them next year, or at any point in the future.

Never went so far always very disappointed awful company. They dont answer or hang up tge phone

They qoute you less, but then you will never get any service. And they will not refund u all your money when you complain.

3 storms later and my car is stuck in the garage, I contacted them several times and sadly no one came to remove the snow. It’s exhausting to work with find a better company and don't waste your time with them

They keep raising prices and the service goes down. Yesterday they passed at 7h30pm when everyone already cleaned themselves and left. Today more snow, its 11am and they havent passed yet. AGAIN im stuck i cant leave.

Next year i will save 350$ and do it myself. Very irresponsible company i hope you close down.

I know its the first major snowfall but its 3: 00 pm we've had over 10cm and had well over 5 early this morning but yet no sign of them coming. This will be the last year with Ricks.

Sorry to have gone with Rick's this year. Used to be great service! Our whole street is upset about the quality of the work. We are all out shovelling when we paid for quality service!

Embarrassment of a company.

Never ever associate with them.this is a trash company.they steel your money without serving you.

We use this company for our snow removal and there is nothing positive i can say! This was our first snowfall this year and they cleaned the building next to us and we were waiting after being instructed by our condo committee that we need to move our cars which we did only to have the snow removal person leave and not come back and we found out that his excuse was he was tired! From what i dont know but this the service we are paying for! Unacceptable this company is a joke i could just imagine what is in store for us and that we will im sure doing a-lot of our own snow shovelling just to be able to get out of our parking spots! This company should be reported!

They damaged my garage door and my driveway. They said they would repair but just lie about it. Now won’t talk on the phone, just want to communicate by emails. They deserve to go bankrupt. Avoid at all costs.

I would never have written a good review about Rick's until I spoke to someone there who deserves to be recognized. Rick's bought out my pervious removal company and it was not a great transition but the driver (Norman) is amazing so I stayed. And now, 3 tears late, I met Charles who helped me resolve and issue that I have been dealing with for years. He called me back three times until it was complete. I don't know how the snow removal will be this season but so far, I am satisfied with the new quality of service.

Last year I paid over 220$ for the walkway service. They didn’t do it once and I called in 3 different occasions to complain. Now I just called to hire their services for this winter (except for the walkway, of course) and I mentioned that a discount or a credit for a service that was never received last year would be fair. I was told that there is nothing they can do and my only choice is either I hire them or I don’t hire them…. Worst customer service ever, coming from someone in the customer service industry…. Disappointed. Be aware people
