La nourriture est excellente, surtout il y a aussi un rapport qualité/ prix. 3 x pains naan our seulement cinq dollars. Nihari très goûteux, mais il m’anque quand même un peu de viande pour le prix. Le Briani est bon avec du poulet qui est frais. Ne changer pas vos recettes!

Itna vahiiyaat khana I didn't eat in my whole life sabse vahiiyaat khana koi taste nahi khane me smell se bhraa hua I don't know think that they make fresh food they only sell. When I see the orange color of the gravy, my whole mood becomes sour or I don't taste at all, I feel like closing the restaurant.

Endroit calme et familiale, la nourriture était excellente on a eu le meilleur chicken butter je recommande vraiment cet endroit, le personnel était vraiment aimable, excellent service

Extremely unhygienic. The tablecloths were stained. The glass pieces placed on the tables had old food particles under them. While we waited for our food, a client came in with 2 kids and waited for takeout. She put her sunglasses on the plates, her kids were touching the dinner plates with their bare hands after touching the floors. And the staff working there didn't even clean the plates afterwards or switch them out, maybe explains the dust on our plates when we wiped them with some wet tissue. Just go to other Indian restaurants. Food other than the dessert was below-par. Oh BTW I found very dried cilantro stem stuck to the bottom of my dessert spoon so that was great.
Too bad, Dera used to be good once.

Tried their Nihari and Paya, loved both. The taste was authentic pakistani desi. Perfect amount of spice. Best halal desi restaurant. Recommended

I visited again. I tryed keema roti. I got roti without keema. Down am posting the roti i got from there.
But same keema roti from other restaurant it have keema inside

Today 13/07/2023. I visited again dera restaurant.
Very bad service from the people. Not providing menu card, even waiting for water for long.
After giving water keeping the water jar in one another one end of the table means the customers should go and take the water from there.
Totaly disappointed

Delicious food. Good portions and price compared to other simular restaurants. Staff is always friendly. One of the best of its kind in town.

Nice airy, clean place.
Service staff is wonderful. We had a lady in a black baseball cap help us (didn’t get her name) but she was lovely.
However food was a let down. Maybe it was the type of things we ordered. We had a long trip back to Ontario right after lunch so we didn’t want to eat anything overly spicy or oily. So we ordered the mixed grill platter, naans, daal makhani, beef biriyani, mango shakes. Everything was very average. Not the big pop of flavours I expected having read reviews.

Prices are fair and there is parking at the back which is a huge plus point in Montreal. There’s parking around the Barclay School as well.

Overall, I’d give it a 2 star but giving an extra star for service and parking.

Hi I use to go there in beginning food was good but now if you know the taste off Pakistani or indian food you dont like it I go with my family friends all the food was cold 45$ mix plater only one pice off shrimp we founf all chicken and kabab no lamb chaps no fish nothing naan was uncooked kabab was burn its look like old chekin kadahee was cold look like come from freezer no service after serve food no one visit your table if you need anything thay think its ghujrat not a canada waste off mony never go there again

Tried placing a catering order, was told a manager would call me back, I received no calls. I called 3 times

Worst experience, I ordered 5 chicken kebab rolls, 1chiken karahi. Took 1h and 56 minutes on week days, Chicken sandwiches gots tiny bit bones I mean it’s joke come on….

I went there to get my favorite indian desert called Rasmalai, and that wasnt what i expected, the bowl was so small so i ordered 2, i can’t really be mad because the kid who work there showed me how big it was. At first sight it wasn’t that small but when came home i realized that it was really not worth it for 11$. At Walmart you get way more bigger portion than that for like 8$ Too bad all the Walmarts was closed

Amazing restaurant, especially for my boy Evan …. I really adore it … I love the LAMB KARAMI is the best in Montreal for sure. Great location for birthday party and fantastic staff … very attentive to your needs. The decor make you fell like your right in the middle of Pakistan. I recommends that place to anyone who want to share a great night, having delicious meals at reasonable price. Definitely a place to remember 5 stars restaurant indeed!

Recieved half eaten chicken legs if you need charity let us know but dont ruin someone's dinner. Quantity is less than a single serving. Please dont play with people.

Be careful people before eating dera restaurant I order chicken kabob when i eat.i got small piece of metal then I complained dera restaurant owner they told me will take care next time. I want to give zero start but there is no option

This used to be our favorite restaurant not sure what happened to this place. The quality of food and service dropped significantly. Its not the same restaurant anymore. Good Bye Dera!

Great place to dine-in or take-out.
Could improve seating arrangements as to 4 people per table. I am normally alone but have to take a seat of six or more. Food quality, specially naans are mmmmm!

We have been to many desi restaurants. This was probably the worst one. They gave us naans with butter on it and we ordered paratas. The service there is horrible. They only have 1 person serving Atleast 10 tables at a time. It will take forever for them to serve you. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Worst biriyani i have ever eaten in my life meat was so dry it was hard even to finish half restaurant is clean environment is good samossa and pakora wasn't bad

I’ll start off with appetizers like we do in a restaurant:
We ordered Reshmi tikka and Paneer tikka masala and both were terrible. Reshmi was uncooked and paneer was heated up.
Main course was not bad both chicken and lamb items were fine but nothing exceptional
And for some reason, we got rotis and naan with our appetizer which I don’t understand why and even the dough wasn’t done properly.
Lastly, i ordered masala tea and had to spit my first sip.
Overall, horrible experience

I ordered chicken pulao for pick up. I went there, I paid and they said mecto wait for it. When they gave it to me I noticed that packing was different. I checked it right away and it was something else. I told her that I didn't ordered this. She started behaving rude and she said that we changed it for our customers. I said that sorry whatever meat it is, I don't want to eat it. Please change it. She refused to change it. Than I said her to refund the money and she again refused. So I left the food there and she didn't refunded me the money.please check your food always before paying.

I ordered 5 items on uber eats from here.

1) Lahori Paya, I ordered two and only received one. The taste was ok
2) Tandoori shrimp: You will get 6 small rubbery shrimps for 12 CAD also the shrimps were not very tasty.

3) I ordered Fish fry and probably this is the only good item for this order. The fish was pretty good and it was value for money

4) Ordered rasmalai and received a bowl of white creamy soup which I thought looked like rasmalai, so after finishing my meal when I thought it would be desert time, I was shocked to see that the white creamy thing was actually RAITA (sour yogurt)
So my rasmalai was also missing. This was really careless how come you completely miss two items? Very much dissapointed. Attached the creamy raita picture

The place has lost some of its appeal. The food is good but they have to clean the place a bit. The washroom area needs cleaning and some reno work

I ordered 12 Nan and they asked me for 30 minutes but they gave me in 50 minutes, Very poor Service

Visiting Montreal for a month. Tried a couple of things alreadyand gonna give some insights.

HALEEM - DONOT ORDER HALEEM. It wasn't HALEEM, it was something else. Got my stomach upset.

Beef biryani- wasn't Biryani, colourd rice with some beef pieces.

Seekh kabab was OK.

Kabab masala was not as described in the menu. In their menu it appears the 'kabab masala' is karahi style but it was Seekh kabab in butter chicken gravy.

Nihari was OK with a lot of useless pieces, mostly bones. Got stomach upset after that as well.

They really need to work on their menu and items. Not a good representation of pakistani food.

Worst vegetarian food i have ever tried. Paneer was like rubber couldn’t even break it. Quantity was very less.
I will never go back to this restaurant

One of the best pakistani food in Montreal. Best Lahori chargha (chicken steam roast) I have eaten in a while.

Plats indiens/pakistanais savoureux! Le menu est tellement rempli de mets qui ont tous l'air succulents que c'est difficile de choisir. Y aller à plusieurs pour partager est la meilleure solution pour goûter à tout.

I tried dahi bara had it not been 3 dollars I would have come back and asked for refund. It was not good.

Their chicken biryani is not so amazing. When you order a take a takeaway biryani with them, there is more rice n small pieces of chicken. I don’t think I can order with them anymore.

The chicken roll sandwich was so dry and not easy to eat and the chicken samosa was worst the chicken was not cooked well so the smell on uncooked chicken was really bad!

One of the best places in Montreal if you're into Pakistani/Indian food. Their garlic naan are to die for and of course the rest of the menu is equally as good.

Pakistani delicacies are mouth watering. Staffs are well mannered. Kit is medium expenssive. Dishes tastes more like Pakistani and North Indian.

Amazing butter chicken with naan bread! Also many delicious lamb dishes, mango juice, and get a vegetable biryani for take out. Can't beat the quality/price.had to take the review down a few stars since on a few other visits the service was not good

Expensive food with no taste. Waste of money. Never go again. Had chapal kabab so hard and no taste.

This resistant is the place to taste the taste of Indian and Pakistani food. Food is halal and they make fresh bread. We went as group and tried a few different dishes. The vegetarian sammosa was excellent and better than the chicken variety. Among the food we ordered the butter chicken Curry was the winner. The next closer was the beef kabab Curry. I hope to return soon.

We bought two plates Haleem along with other stuff. Haleem was burned taste. Spent two hours travelling to bring un quality stuff

I have tried their food many times. I also attended a desi reception here which was very good. Food in reception taste way better than resturant food itself.

No authentic indian or pakistani taste at all.worst part of it all is you don’t even have to come from these countries to tell. I ordered a veggie biryani (from ubereats), that was in a styrofoam container and only abt a quarter of the container was filled. Gives you an idea about the portions they serve. Oh and as an “indian” /“pakistani” restaurant, I think you should make more use of your spices. Kinda felt like I was eating the Mcdonalds of indian cuisine.

They need to improve the taste of almost all the dishes. Ambiance is good but no taste and quantity is too small.

I am from Ottawa, visited Montreal and took family for an Indian dinner night. Unfortunately, it was not a dinner but a nightmare. We were served food that had no Indian or Pakistani signature to it. I ordered Thali for myself, first of all it was not even near a traditional thali, just a day or two old butter chicken, boiled chickpeas, cold coloured rice and naan. I found a piece of dishwashing scrub metal in my rice. I have lived in south Asia for quite awhile to know the taste of its food. I dont recommend anyone to go to this place.
