I like it here, the transportation is convenient, and there are many merchants around. Inside the Deserres is a paradise for artists or would-be artists

I got a part-time job downtown and decided to visit for the second time this store. This time there was a new gentleman that was funny and extremely helpful. He even called the Manager to discuss kinds of acrylic paintings and we had a nice chat. Keep that employee. This is a great store and they have a very nice choice of everything. I will definitely be back.

I always buy my colours, brushes and canvases from this store. They have very good quality service

The store is full of everything you need for crafts, draw and paint. They have sales of different products and also very friendly staff that can help you if you are looking for something specific. The products they sale are from very good brands up to their brand that is of good quality too but cheaper.

Kinda okay shop for artistic goods. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Prices are a bit high.

Everytime I come here I get followed around the store by the employees. Awful customer service, it has driven me away from coming here anymore.

Easily accessible shopping mall in Montreal, direct access through the metro. Good variety of stores with a great Canadian Tire and Omer Deserres inside.

This is where I do all of my shopping. Groceries at IGA and Pharmaprix for all my medical and sundry needs for home. There are many places to eat, gather and spend time together, no matter what floor you are on. There are plenty of shops to shop in from Sports, to kitchen wear, to The Source (of course) Winners and Marshall's. If you need it, you don't have to go far to find it. Complexe Alexis Nihon has it all. Stop by today. And the Metro has a stop on the ground floor, so getting here is very easy.

I needed frames for several prints and the service was excellent t. I was advised how to frame my prints at a low cost, with frames they sell.

Best arts supplies shop in Montreal but I wish they would broaden the catalogue. Perhaps at the expense of glittery things for kids?

The store and it's employees are good but overall the brand carries very very expensive items. It's like, if you want to pursue a hobby, bankruptcy is the only option. Maybe it's more for professional artists who don't mind shelling an extra buck.

What great service! I was very impressed with the quality of service from every single employee. The personnel is attentive, polite and so pleasant to work with - One of the best service I have received in any store. The entire team is eager to serve clients. I would highly recommend!

I often have trouble getting help finding things from the staff at DeSerres and the branch at Alexis Nihon plaza is no exception. It has a smaller footprint than their other stores so many things are not carried here. But if they do happen to have what you need, it's a convenient location close to parking and transit.

I wish they had a better selection of high-end art supplies for professional artists rather than hobbyists. Their selection is decent watercolour brushes is poor.

I love this place! It's got all kinds of things, including findings for making jewelry.except, not for long as they're closing out that department.but they have what I needed, and I was really happy to get it at such a great price!

Great experience. Staff are kind and helpful. You can find all the essential supplies for art school or a personal project. I definitely missed going to an art supply store like I used to do in university. This is definitely a better experience than buying mindlessly on Amazon

I am generally a big fan of DeSerres however this last visit was disappointing. The selection in this store is not great, it is a small location compared to some others and I assume also the current pandemic is causing some issues. Since their web site is not great though I have to come in store and I am not sure this visit makes me want to return. Even bigger is that I saw a clerk give a huge thick plastic bag to a customer, I cannot believe that they still offer this, as this does not match my values I will look for a company that has more eco friendly practices.

DO NOT get your painting framed here! They totally ruined my canvases and refused to reimburse me. They also made me wait over an hour and a half for a simple pick up. Horrible customer service and they obviously have no idea what they are doing. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more to get it done by actual professionals.

Really easy to get to. Great variety of stock that is well organized. Friendly staff. They're attentive and will approach you to see if you need help. Stock was a bit low when I went, but it's Covid era, so this is just to point it out, not a complaint. Ask and they'll recommend other products if needed.

The store is organized, and even if it wasn't, friendly and knowledgeable stuff would point you to the product you were looking for anyway.

Sooo expensive but the employees in this store are always so helpful! There's always someone in the store who knows everything about the project I'm taking on and they can advise me properly, it's great. And they don't pressure you to spend any money, they'll find the cheapest option if that's what you want and they'll tell you to go elsewhere to buy the item if that's what's best for your project
