4 stars for food because my own bbq is 5 out of 5 but this is the next best thing! Jenn was really cool, great service

Meilleur pain de mais que j'ai mangé de ma vie. Les viandes et la sauce etaient tres bonnes aussi. La limonade au bourbon bien meilleure qu'à la dinette. Seul hic, la salade de patates vraiment trop aqueuse.

In August, I ordered from Uber Eats all the way from Laval. The food was pretty good and the prices are decent. Of course the food was a bit on the cold side with the long drive, but it's to be expected. The French fries, corn bread, fried chicken were really good. Would probably consider ordering from here again, or visiting in person next time I'm in the area.

The fries were unfortunately dry. The beans were very good, the rice was a pleasant addition.

Will have to try dine in to see if it would be better?

Nous avons passé un formidable moment dans ce restaurant qui du Point de vue culinaire et accueil est irréprochable.
Vraiment une bonne adresse à recommander sans hésitation.

Very awesome place and most excellent food. Jason the owner and his staff were most accommodating and attentive. This was some GREAT barbecue (and I say that having lived in Texas for over 36 years). I will definitely revisit this restaurant!

Diablo BBQ Smokehouse au 17 Prince Arthur.
C'est la 5ieme fois que nous allons visiter ce genre de resto.
Les 3 premières fois à une année d'intervalle c'était merveilleux ; service, nourriture et qualité.
La 4ieme fois j'ai pas aimé le poulet élastique. Et pour le reste c'était bien même service.
Ce soir c'est la 5ieme fois que nous y allons cela fesait 5 ans que nous y sommes pas allé.
Pour ce qui est de la viande que nous avons choisi rien à redire c'était parfait sauf les entrés d'ailes de chapon qui était en fait des ailes de poulet donc plus petite que des ailes de chapon.le service trop lent ce soir.
Mais pour ce qui accompagnait les plats c'était lamentable les frites trop cuite depuis longtemps. En plus j'avais demandé de changer les frites pour une poutine à 4.00 d'extra sur le plat. J'ai retourner le plat à la cuisine la serveuse savait bien qu'il y avait une erreur avant d'apporter le plat.et elle n'a rien fait jusqu'à ce que je lui rappelle la commande. De plus j'ai pas aimé la salade de choux en y goûtant j'ai remarqué que la mayonnaise avait dû être à la température de la pièce pendant très longtemps puisque qu'elle goûtait la mayonnaise tourné. Désagréable.
Et la cerise sur le sunday c'est que sur la facture la serveuse m'a chargé la poutine en plus sur la facture.pour une différence de 8,95 + taxes en trop.
Honnêtement ça vaut pas la peine que j'y retourne.rayé de ma liste.

I went with friends for all-you-can-eat wings yesterday. We had a reservation, and sat down, and waited for 15 minutes, and no waitstaff came by. One of us went to ask a waiter for menus, and they said to sit down and that they'll be with us shortly. We waited another 15 minutes, no one came by, so we left.

Extrêmement déçu de ce restaurant. Alors que c’est censé être un smokehouse, la viande est réchauffée. Elle arrive sèche et tiède. Même l’assaisonnement reste à désirer. Vus les prix (50$ HT pour la cote de bœuf BBQ signature et 28$ HT pour le brisket) et la manière dont sont vantés les plats sur le menu, c’est absolument honteux de servir ce qu’on y sert. Je n’ai même pas fini mon plat, manger la viande était plus une corvée pour ne pas gâcher qu’autre chose.
Le service est plutot bon, mais niveau nourriture c’est vraiment à fuir. Très très déçue.

First time there and now it's one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. I really liked the brisket & pulled pork sandwich, good beer and very kind service. I can't wait to go again to taste the brisket. Highly recommended!

Came by with my frosh group during our food/bar crawl. Service was super friendly and the large selection of food tasted great. I particularly liked the chicken wings. Everyone was super happy with the spot and enjoyed the variety of prepared meats and tofu!

Took a little while ti get our meal but only because they were short staffed, but food was amazing as was the owner John. Gave us some shots for the late meal. Recommend this place 100%

C'est la place à aller à Montréal. Je ne suis pas quelqun qui mange de la viande facilement et sérieusement j'ai toute aimé. La viande font littéralement dans la bouche. Le resto est super beau, l'intérieur est propre et que dire du propriétaire, super sympathique et attentionné a chaque detail. Je recommande fortement et j'y retournerais sans hésiter. Highly recommend the brisket. Our meal was served on a large cutting board. I chose fries with my meal and they hardly fit on the plate.

First time I saw the diablos bbq webpage, it seemed like a very good place and I was very exited to go there since the covid time, since diablos bbq stated in their webpage that they are a “southern bbq” I as a Texan, living in Montreal, iv been trying to find the best bbq in Montreal and surrounding areas and Iv found that diablos bbq was not as good and as expected.

I ordered

Appetizer was the chicken wings with the ranch sauce (this appetizer was amazing it started very well)

Main plate was the Dixie since I wanted the best experience of all meat taste, it was very poorly, most of the plate was just fries, the half rack of pork ribs and brisket were very very dry and poorly done, the menu said that there was cornbread and there was sadly no corn bread in the order. I had also ordered an extra of brisket and I was very disappointed with my choice.

And for drinks I ordered a coke as well as a cowgirl for my girlfriend, she rated her drink good for the 10$ price.

In summary of my review, i payed a total of 167 ish for the meal, so as a Texan who knows what the real taste of souther food/bbq is I have to rate it 2 stars.

What an amazing experience! Friendly service and the decor was outstanding! Highly recommend and ask about their custom old fashion (smoked bourbon) specialty sipper drink.

Horrible experience! Never again!
After waiting for over 1hr. 30minutes. And going through 3 different waiters due to being abandoned or forgotten by the first waiter, our order finally arrived. The ribs were dried, burnt, VERY SALTY and bitter! Most of the fries were burnt and cold, they left the a few unburnt ones to disguise the top of the plate. It was a waste of time and money.

We watched 6 different people from the table across us leave because no waiter attended to them after 30 minutes.

The place needs to hire like 3-5 more waiters. Some of the chairs outside are broken with nails sticking out right on top of it, if you are not careful, you could definitely sustain serious injuries.

It was my first and most certainly last visit. Apparently the management does not care about customers.

I do not recommend this place.

Diablos hosted us during our Frosh crawl and all the participants LOVED it! Great environment, great staff, great drinks, and great food!

Spent a wknd in the city. Headed to Diablos for dinner. A few servers had called in, so we were served by one of the owners. Jon you as extremely personable and funny as a server. Food was dynamite, drinks were great, atmosphere was perfect.

My favorite slow cooked pork ribs are out of stock by the time I reached this restaurant.

Tried their pulled pork sandwich and it was up to the mark (baked beans are extremely sweet).

The issue was the service time. I had to wait for 45 minutes to get first plate of food.

Restaurant has indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangement. The location is fantastic!

Restaurant tres bien situé sur Prince Arthur. La terrasse est tres agréable car zone piétonne. Le menu est est varié et les portions généreuses. J’ai essayé les cornichon pané, les crevettes et les ailes de poulet en entrée; les trois étaient tres bonnes et savoureuses. Comme plat principal j’ai bien aimé le burrito à la morue panée. Le bar est vraiment cool et ca vaut la peine d’essayer les cocktails (Whisky sour)

Meat is too dry, and the server got us the wrong order twice. Barely any flavour to any of the sides or even some of the main dishes. Cowboy theming is tasteful at least, with really nice mocktails.

Excellent restaurant. Leurs bbq est vraiment très bon! Leur poulet aussi d'ailleurs. De plus le service est rapide et agréable, Merci guys c’était un plaisir:)

I have chatted with an owner about the decor and atmosphere that he and his brother have built… his pride was matched with his waiter’s dedication and the fantastic food each and every part of my party had. Fantastic place! I will be back.

Diablos smokehouse is unique experience in the area.as every business after pandemic you just need to be a little patience due to short staff but it will be worth it for amazing and great quality food! Completely worth it.plus in house beer and great cocktails.the owner and all the staff did their best to please everyone and we all just need to be patience with all their hard work specially in this difficult times but eventually the service will be amazing! This place has great potential!

I had such a fun time at Diablos! I’ll always recommend sitting at the bar at any restaurant to get to know the vibe and recommendations.

We tried their Fried Chicken, Pulled Pork Poutine with Cajun Fries, and Frickles.

Fried Chicken: Wow! I have never picked a bone so clean as having it at Diablos. The fried skin was absolutely tantalizing and filled with flavour - no dipping required. The chicken meat itself was moist and juicy, and every bite left me wanting more. It’s a homemade recipe from the chef so you can’t go wrong with that technique and seasoning! The sides were also delicious! Coleslaw, fries, brussel sprouts and the best gravy I’ve ever had.

Pulled Pork Poutine with Cajun Fries - more fries and gravy! I really enjoyed the cajun seasoning for the fries. It wasn’t too spicy, however it left a nice smouldering burn in the mouth which paired very nicely with the juicy pulled pork on top. The pork had a nice blend of perfectly cooked moist textures, with barbecue sauce.

Frickles - I can’t not get fried pickles if they’re on a menu! They use the same seasoning as they do with the deep fried chicken, so it was extra enjoyment right there. This time, I did dip the pickles. It was awesome!

Drinks - name the booze you like and trust the bartender:)

Food was overly salty, service was terrible. As soon as the server knew we weren't buying the most expensive meal on the menu, he disappeared, kitchen ended up bringing us our cold food 20 minutes they stopped ringing the bell.

Idk abt the food here but im here right now and the owner is just letting his boomer friends change the music mid song and only play the weirdest mix of deep-ish cut throwback, not a vibe

Also bad selection of beer, don’t come here unless you wanna drink Heineken from a bottle

Bit overcooked a bit overpriced.
The beef ribs were passable, the pork ribs were inedible. The fries are quite good and the brisket was ok, a little bland but at least not tough like the ribs.
They forgot a dish we asked for twice we just gave up.
The servers are quite friendly.
The music is too loud.
It wasn't an awful night out but we won't be back.

Les serveurs sont très sympathiques et accueillants. La musique et le cadre sont agréables.
Les cocktails sont vraiment bons. Côté nourriture, les portions sont consequentes, la chapelure du poulet est super bonne, mais il est vrai que le poulet manque de cuisson. Les frites cajun passent bien avec la sauce gravy sur le côté et la salade de chou

Just received my order through Uber Eats. Ordered two smoked half chickens, 2 coleslaw, 2 potato salads. Received the two smoked half chickens, one tiny potato salad, one tiny coleslaw and a small amount of fries in the bottom of each container under the chicken. I did not select fries because they don't hold up well to delivery most times, they're cold and kind of like cardboard and soggy with chicken grease but the Cajun seasoning tastes good.

Chicken is alright but the coleslaw tastes and looks like identical to a store bought brand I used to serve in a grocery deli, "the best potato salad" is very bland. Glad it was a two for one deal online, I guess.

Bouffe délicieuse, sans reproche. Drinks intéressants. Excellent expresso! Le service nécessiterait un peu plus d’attention mais globalement, nous avons été satisfait. On recommande mais nous suggérons de réserver et de demander une place sur une banquette ou sur la terrasse.

As appetizers, had the beat Ceviche and yummy crab cakes. Then had the Diablo Normous so got to try all the different meats! Wow! My favourite was definitely the Brisket!

Nous avons commandé 2 assiettes de côtes levés et c'était très mauvais car elles étaient très sèches, trop cuites, sans sauce BBQ. Le riz en extra était aussi trop sec et trop cuit. Nous sommes très déçus pour le prix.

Personnel irrespectueux, je vous réponds Mr le propriétaire parce que j’arrive pas a vous répondre sur l’ancien commentaire: Comme un chauffeur uber ou pas vous devez me respecter comme une personne! Et ne pas jeter mon sac par terre et se prend comme une star quand vous nous parler, et puis vous devez accepter les avis des autres sinon vous devez changer votre job merci

Excellent service. A l'attention des demandes du client. Présentation du plat clean et respect de l'hygiène. The owner est minutieux au détail.

Cette réouverture est un réel succès et j'espère qu'il peuvent considérer à ouvriront au UK un jour ça pourrait faire fureur!

1-Quesadilla taste good but has no beaf, not sure if we get the wrung one. (has only beans and cheese)

2- Tinga burrito has almost nothing beside chicken not sure guys who was in the kitchen this day. (well portion chicken but nothing els)

Look at the second pic, no avocado, no sour cream, no green sauce, no Shredded cabbage, no melted cheese, no salad, no veggies!

I don’t like to write bad review, I know the effects but the burrito was bad and was very disappointed.

Quesadilla would’ve been good if there would be beef inside and burritos was missing to much ingredients but extremely well portion of chicken

The absolute worse service ever. If there would be a negative star that would be the score I would give. Most disorganized filthy establishment I have ever walked into. Definitely a restaurant that hasn't been seen by a food inspector in a very long time. -

Ils accueillent actuellement les gens dans un autre de leur restaurant, l'ambiance n'est pas la même. Je ne suis jamais allée au restaurant à son emplacement avant Covid.
Côté service, rien a dire, super staff et nous avons bien été reçu. Nous avons fait la réservation le même jour, via le site web du restaurant.
En ce qui concerne le repas, nous avons été relativement déçu de l'expérience. Nous avons pris le repas pour deux: le poulet frit était très ordinaire, les côtes levées avaient le goût du congélateur, la saucisse était acceptable sans plus, et le bœuf était ok aussi.

Au niveau accompagnement, les frites (théoriquement cajun) manquait grandement de goût et d'assaisonnement, les haricots eux étaient trop cuit.

Bref, nous sommes restés sur notre faim malgré la quantité de nourriture présente devant nous.

Nous y retournerons peut être, lorsqu'ils seront de retour dans leur restaurant d'origine, afin d'en avoir le cœur net. Mais en ce moment, si nous avons une envie de BBQ, ce ne resta pas l'une de nos adresses de prédilection.
