Food here is ok-good, depending what you order. The pizza is great, and the souvlaki as well. Don't recommend the fish and chips.
Service could be better but I understand a lot of places are understaffed these days. We came with a group of 25 and felt very unattended to. We were barely greeted, some people did not have their drink orders taken, and water was not given until we asked for it- at which time they brought it in a pitcher that was covered in butter and not clean, with glasses stacked and told us to pour ourselves. Servers were polite but definitely needed help, as the restaurant was pretty busy. Would go back but maybe not with a large group.

A good 'classic' diner experience.
Food was good and the service was fast and friendly. Everyone enjoyed the meal, we'll definitely be back!

Went for dinner Thursday night, had a really delicious chicken pita platter with excellent service from Ally. She was super kind and hospitable, very much recommend this restaurant.

Since last time I was here they seemed have improved a lot. To be fair I did take a more classic meal this time around, but it was good. Eggs and meat good, benedict bad.

Went this morning and got the breakfast poutine. It was absolutely amazing. The hollandaise sauce was perfect (so hard to find a good one) and the sausages were not greasy at all.
The only thing I didn't lime was the coffee, the first cup was really weak and the second cup had a strange flavour to it. I'll get the tea next time.

J'aime Dinty's pour ses poissons et frites que l'on voit déjà bien entamés dans la photo. Les plats sont excellents, les portions copieuses et le service est bon. J'ai été accueilli est servi en français, ce qui est important pour moi, mais je sais qu'on y est bien accommodés en anglais aussi.

Excellent restaurant familial ou pour dîner entre collègues. Le menu est largement varié, il y en a pour tous les goûts. De plus, ils offrent même des déjeuners à l'heure du dîner. Service assez rapide.

This place is a hidden treasure. Sure, from the outside it looks like an old diner, and the pub fare is pretty basic. You might come here, look at the menu, and think "club sandwich or smoked meat? " Either way, you're wrong.
There's nothing actually wrong about those two options, the burgers are good burgers and the sandwiches are good sandwiches, but the Greek food is without a doubt what they're best at. The souvlaki is fantastic. The salad is great. And the potatoes. Choosing french fries as your side option is just disappointing compared to the lemon roasted potatoes. And that's saying something, because the fries are really good, thick cut, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Some of the best restaurant fries I've ever had. But. The roasted potatoes. Oh my gosh. If you like lemon, you have to try them. Even if you choose the smoked meat, or the burger, or the club, i highly recommend opting for the roasted potatoes. If you've never tried them, you need to try them. If nobody at the table is ordering them, just ask for a side of roasted potatoes and y'all need to taste them at least once.
I don't know if the food holds up as takeout. But I'll be back here just for the potatoes. And the souvlaki. And the Greek salad. And the pizza too, actually. It's pretty good. But. The pizza doesn't come with a potato side.

Excellent place for breakfast. Friendly staff and food taste very good. Portions are definitely enough to fill your tummy at a reasonable price. They also speak English fluently.

If you have any health issues and need some sort of accommodation, DO NOT GO to Dinty's!
My dad, who's 80 years old, cannot eat salt and gets very sick if he does. I called last night and ordered a meal for him and made sure that I specifically request that they add no salt in his order. The lady was very nice on the phone and agreed. Went to pick it up and asked again to make sure that there was no salt & they confirmed!
We get home, open the order and there is salt in the fries. Fries are all over the salmon and veggies so my dad doesn't want to risk eating the rest of the meal because his very sensitive to salt. We call, the waitress apologizes and says that they will send another order. 5 minutes later, I get a call from someone else who is so rude and says that the fries are always pre-made with salt. Why didn't you tell me that When I ordered I ask? We go back and forth.
Dinty's REFUSED that I return the food and they give me my money back.
They REFUSED to give me a new meal. They just were insensitive and did not even apologize once for the inconvenience! So, if you have any specific requests for them, do not waste your money!

Very good food but someone called and dintys accused me of prank calling cuz it was a duplicate number so very good food but not so great service

Mediocre - had traditional bacon n eggs breakfast - not offensive, just okay. If you like tbe american franchises like Perkins you'll like dintys

Coffee has a color of coffee but tastes like hot water. Asked for a change, same hot water with a coffee color. Ordered an omlette asked the waitress not too dry. Sure enough came dry, made of batter and supposed to have all ingredients the "western" has, but you can hardly identify any. Dry, folded and thin. Very disappointed and will never go there again. Pandemic was hard for all but why not give people value for their money?

Amazing smoked meat sandwiches! If you like smoked meat, this is the place to go. If you don’t like smoked meat, don’t worry; this restaurant has a menu with a little bit of everything for all tastes and budgets. Food is great, service is excellent and like the best family owned restaurants the staff remembers their regulars and makes the experience enjoyable for new faces as well. And their breakfast is amazing as well.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant to any and all.

Great food, decent prices. I guess my only negative would be service efficiency and speed, but thats a detail im ok to live with. Otherwise great everyday restaurant.

I really can’t complain about this place, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is good and the prices are decent.
