The trail was easy and well maintained. There is a junction where it can take you to other parts of the park. We did not seem to see a path after reaching the ruins, but we did not look that close.

It was one of the real beautiful places I visited in nature. Hike is kind of easy and nearly 1.5 km walk from the parking lot to the falls.

This trail can be accessed from the O'Brien's Beach parking lot (just minutes past Camp Fortune).
This trail starts off with some long hilly, but smooth terrain, before arriving at a small bridge crossing a stream off of Meech Lake. You can also catch a glimpse of the Lake and Kayakers in the distance.that was us just a few weeks earlier.
Continuing on, you will arrive at a signpost, at which you can head left and visit the Carbide Willson Ruins.
Overall, this is a relatively easy trail to enjoy. There are some climbs to do, but the terrain is all smooth and well maintained. The nature is stunning and the alternative views of Meech Lake by the small bridge are worth the visit.

This trellis part of the broader Netwerk that connects Gatineau park. It is particularly attractive because you can go from Meech Lake up to the Champlain lookout. Trails are well-maintained and accessible all year round.

We went to P11 and walked from there to the Carbide Wilson Ruins. There is some steep parts of the trail but it is a really nice walk.

Gorgeous. Keep conservation efforts going! I was supposed to visit some of the ruins but the trails were unexpectedly closed: (I hope they keep online hours more consistent in the future and/or update seasonal information.

Awesome wonderland with more a day required to fully appreciate.my only issue is the parking.its a nightmare on sunny and busy day.the parkway itself can be open or closed despite online schedule.be ready for serious walking.

A very nice trail. I walked the first 2.5kms and returned. You will have to be steady on your feet since there are hills to go up and down. It is not a paved path so there is also rocky areas to navigate. When I have the time, I will go again and go further.

This trail has great views of the Meech lake. I took the trail to go to the waterfall and I can say that it is a wonderful one.

Great little hike. Terrain is pretty easy except in a few spots were it is rocky. Lots to discover at the ruins themselves and make sure to bring a camera.
Bring your swim trunks and a towel to swim in Meech lake afterwards. So refreshing. (Same parking lot as the lake)
There is a fee for parking.
I found a tick on my leg after coming from the lake. Eeck! I did not go in tall grass and I stayed on trails or at the beech/sand.

Wanted to go for a hike in March but it is Illegal with a 500$ fine unless you have ski's on. Very upset, should have a designated path for hikers. It was a waist of a morning. A great way to ruin your day, and faith in society.

Ce long sentier relie Chelsea au lac Philippe. Le sentier est très beau, calme et isolé. La plus belle partie est celle qui contourne le lac Meech.
