Domaine Du Lac BRYSON Lake Lodge

We loved our 5-day stay at Lac Bryson! Cabin #7 was in the best location on the lake and has the best bar overlooking the lake! It's such a great place!

Owners and staff were friendly! Lovely location and lots to do. Can't wait to return! Fun for the whole family.

Beautiful place to visit, very friendly staff, Denis and Laurel are great hosts. Ryan is a great guide and very knowledgeable. Thanks again for a great time. Looking forward to revisting 2022 for another moose hunt.

Just got back and this place is as awesome as it always has been. Used to go all the time with my parents twenty years ago when I was a kid and now I go with my wife. Even though it rained our whole week last year, my wife loved it so much she booked the following year as we checked out. Forget Cuba and Mexico, this is our place to go and relax. And I can't say enough good things about the owners. They are just so awesome and nice.

Just came back from Bryson Lake Lodge. Stayed in cabin 13 and 14. Highly recommended for people who want to have piece and quiet. Caught my biggest walleye ever at 75 cm. Must go to chute Gauthier what a beautiful place. Can't say enough about the owners who go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as it can be. And their fishing guide Ryan who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Patient with our children and a great teacher. This place has it all. Fish, trails, falls, cliff jumping, remote or on site lodging, a games room for rainy days, but most importantly wonderful staff who really care about your stay.

Great visit to Lac Bryson, but quite over-hunted.

We're just back from a great week at Lac Bryson. Their reputation for excellent service and facilities is well-deserved. The entire team was exceptionally kind, helpful and hospitable - we really couldn't ask for more and we have nothing but good things to say about the place and people.

That said, every person we spoke with agreed that the land bears all the signs of being over-hunted. It's perfectly reasonable to hunt for a week and not see an animal. But to see absolutely NO fresh tracks or droppings is very rare. For more than 60 hunters to hunt for a week and not take an animal is unheard of and in our opinion is a good indication that the population is under too much pressure from either hunters or other factors. Regardless of the reason, it seems like a few years of recovery is needed.

The fishing was great, we had a lot of fun, met some great people and made a lot of memories. I hope to hear some time in the future that the moose are back because we'd love to visit again.

I was the best place to fish I love the energetic fish in the water and I will come back next year. And uncle denis is the best boater and fisher?

Had an amazing week with my family at Bryson Lake. Excellent fishing for both the adults and the little ones! Amazing staff and the accomodations were perfect. There is so much to do and I would recommend Bryson to anyone who likes the outdoors!

This place is far from a 1 star lodge and the fish were far from lazy. Still laughing that someone who even make such a ridiculous comment.

We asked the staff to direct us to the best places to fish and they were bang on as we caught a lot of fish!

This is a fantastic place to bring the family for some rest and relaxation and fun. We had a very good time. Cabins very great and service was top drawer. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The fishing was extraordinary! We limited out every day.

Rooms where good and service and staff pleasent.fishing on the other hand 2nd time going and fishing very poor and fish are like logs coming up no fight in them vaery lazy.dont expect to fill ur boat bring steaks to eat!

Cabins are great and clean. The staff is great, If that's what your going for it would be a 5/5.but if your planning on big numbers of walleye and pike you'll be disappointed.

Denis and his wife are the most nicest and comforting staff at the lodge. Always ready to help and go above and beyond for everyone. Always a pleasure popping in.

A truly beautiful place to spend a week moose hunting. The cabins are clean and well kept, couldn't have had a nicer experience. Can't wait to go back next year.

Without getting into volumes of detail I personally for the most part had disappointing moments, and did not feel like any effort was made on the part of the guide to lighten these disappointing moments. The guide had little to no interactions with me, not sure if my silence was intimidating, but it would have been nice to feel more included on the trip seeing as I also paid my share for this guided trip.

Now on a more positive note my friend had a wonderful experience. There is no mistaken that our guide was down to earth and had an open continuous dialogue with her, and did an excellent job of making her guided fishing experience knowledgeable and fun, so for that I was grateful for.

I am not dissuaded from coming back, and did enjoy my time spent on the lake kayaking with my friend and taking in all the beautiful scenery and the sheer calmness of the lake. The rooms were well-maintained and very clean, compliments to the maid. There is no denying that the owner has worked very hard over the past 25 years on building his business, and upon arrival it was apparent. So inclosing I would like to add that overall I had a nice time, but am a little disappointed that I was not able to relate to the guide and he was not able to relate to me, and I am not sure if he was the best fit for me to have an overall good experience. Maybe I needed to ask lots of questions and what expectations I was hoping to get from this guided trip while engaging with him.
