DoubleTree by Hilton Quebec Resort

I stayed here a few months ago and had a lovely experience. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the hotel was located in the center of all of the destinations I visited. Looking forward to my next visit!

The location is great, not too far from the city center by car, 12-15min, right out of the highway, in a quiet area. The hotel itself is very modern, clean, and the rooms are great.

Stayed two nights for a conference. Love the warm cookie upon arrival. The room was beautiful! Separate living area. The bathroom modern and quality Crabtree products. There is a nespresso machine which was nice touch. The bed (mattress, pillows, bedding) was the best! I love a plush bed and this was supreme luxury. I didn’t want to get out of bed to attend the conference. My room was overlooking the golf course, and only slight downer is some sound from highway in early morning. All in all this was a quality stay.

I’m very picky about making a reservation and hotels with a decent enough gym. I was sceptical to reserve at the Doubletree because I saw two types of images for the gym. I was assured over the phone about their recent makeover and decided to place my reservation based on that. I decided to take pictures of my own, as well as a video to demonstrate, how they made a very good choice with renovating the space. I could make the recommendation of adding an extra bench as well as extra mats for stretching on the floor. However, they have decent size weights, and machines to run a complete workout.
Lia and I were quite impressed on how quiet the rooms were. The next day we noticed how the hotel closes off the access to the hallways which reassured us from a security standpoint as well as soundproofing. The breakfast was included with our reservation. The restaurant has a very good selection of fruits, yogurt, bread, Greek yogurt, and your typical buffet with eggs, bacon, sausages, breakfast potatoes, and beans. The hotel has roughly 4 or five levels with lots of parking all around. The gym, the pool and spa are located on the lower floor. There’s a heated pool outside plus a sauna.
We love receiving the warm, chocolate chip cookie upon arrival, every staff member we discuss with were very kind and caring. They used to have dry cleaning service. However, when we visited, it seemed as though they were in transition for another company. Hopefully the next time we visit they will have a dry cleaning service again.

Nice big room staff very helpful good facilities and great location for going to the national parks

The room was nice, the toilet didn't flush properly and the water pressure in the shower wasn't enough. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows.

The curtain fell when I tried to close the curtain. The metal bar hit my knee and my knee was bleeding for that whole day.

Disappointed with the stay here. Being a resort we expect some basic amenities. This location had nothing much to offer. Even the room were very tiny. Room service was not provided.

The rooms were nice but I booked this hotel for its spa like set up. They had one pool that was working and their whirlpool was not. The area around these pools were run down and appears to be not taken cared off.

We also ate at the restaurant and my fiancé’s steak was overcooked then they very nicely replaced it but it was burned on the outside and undercooked on the inside.

We have been Hilton users, for past 5 years. Never have we experienced what we did at this resort location.
No Microwave at rooms, no room service at all. The only bright spot was a gentleman Anthony at reception. He had a smile on his face.
We got an upgraded room though at no extra cost. The breakfast was good.
The kids envisioned a pool table or a ping pong since it was a resort. Covid is long gone. It’s time that we moved on. Except for location and food. This place is pretty average and unworthy of brand Hilton.

From the checkin experience to breakfast, this was a bad experience for my family. I requested a room on the quiet side of the hotel and was told that all rooms are quite. My room was facing the highway and it was so noisy throughly the night my toddler kept waking up. The ice machine was not working right. The breakfast was expensive for how bad the selection and cleanliness, organization was. The only good part is that this is quite close to most places you want to see in Quebec.

Amazing hotel with exceptional location from views prespective and best part is everything is very close by from attractions point of view. Hotel cleaness throughout was amazing. Breakfast area menu quality and quantity both were amazing. Staff was very helpful and very welcoming

Located less than 20 minutes from the heart of Old Quebec City. Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff and immaculate rooms.

Room smell like cigarette. Front desk unwilling to help if you have any unconvenience. Hotel is far from the tourist activities. Golf course is nice, but not included in the stay, and no rebate for hotel guests

The girl with the green hair at the front desk was very kind and helpful during our stay.great clean rooms, good sauna and jacuzzi, and amazing welcome cookies:)

The staff of this hotel are always willing to help. The rooms are clean and very well maintained! They have great deck to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with a campfire.

Room service was poor, room was very tight and congested. Moreover the coffee machine and AC were faulty. The AC makes a lot of noise, making it hard to sleep at night. The give you cookies at check in only, if you ask for any more afterwards they refuse. Also, there is no real “spa” it’s just a hot tub with a sauna. The hot tub is also quite dirty and not cleaned/maintained properly.

Cet hôtel est tout simplement parfait! Son emplacement, la propreté des lieux et l’accueil. L’endroit est très calme et les chambres spacieuses.
En revanche petit bémol pour le manque d’informations sur le menu du restaurant de l’hôtel.
Mention spéciale pour les biscuits qui sont offerts à l’arrivée, ils sont vraiment bons

If you like to exercise this is the place to stay. They just remodeled the room and have all new equipment (not to mention the golf course view). The front desk can show you the walk/jog path. You can use the golf course path before and after club members are off the course.
You have to request room cleaning, but they provide towels and other necessities as requested at the front desk.
Highly recommend this hotel if you are driving. Only 15 mins driving from Old Quebec, and you pay half of the price of other hotels in the city. Very peaceful surroundings if you love nature.
