Generally, an enjoyable experience, especially Dr. Paquette, but there could be some exceptions, depending who's assisting you. Also certainly not a cheap place.

Great experience with Dre St-Amour & team. Took the time to explain and they were all very pleasant. Highly recommend.

The whole experience was excellent.
The eye exam was explained to me in detailed which I loved.
The people behind the counter are very friendly and helped me out in choosing the right frame for me. At no time did I feel pressured even though I must have tried 50 different frames.

Overall excellent customer service

Excellent service. Professionnel et on m’a bien expliqué mon examen de la vue en détail. Je pensais initialement qu’il y avait seulement des lunettes haut de gamme alors je n’ai jamais osé aller chez Doyle. Ma monture est très abordable, il y a des options pour plusieurs budgets. J’apprécie prendre mes rendez-vous vous en ligne aussi, merci Doyle. Aussi, on a bien pris de temps de m’aider dans mon choix de monture, sans pression. Excellente expérience.

Après avoir visité plusieurs boutiques, j'ai acheté mes lunettes ici. Maude est l'une des meilleure conseillère! Je souligne son professionnalisme, son écoute et sa patience. Quel bon service à la clientèle!

I must say, I have rarely received such an incredible service in any type of store as I did at Doyle Saint-Henri. Clothilde and her staff were attentive, patient and very friendly. The service is exceptional. Bravo!

Although they are booked for a few weeks I appreciate the customer service given to me by the front desk. I received a call back to check on my status which was greatly appreciated!

They have a nice selection of frames and everyone that I have talked to has always been very pleasant. That said, I think Philip is a bit of genius when it comes to adjusting frames to be comfortable. A quick look and he knows exactly what to do. After seeing him, my frames are tight enough that putting on a hat or mask doesn't jostle them but not so tight that I have pain spots. Thank you Philip!

Frames are way too expensive comparing to other places or online. Service was neutral for me through the eye exam. However, I was shocked an old lady in a mobility scooter was trying to get through that high step to enter the store and nobody helped from the employees with the excuse that they are servicing other customers. Basically the customers, including myself, stepped in to help. And this place is still masking their employees… And one of them told me discreetly when I asked if someone is sick that they are threatened with a layoff if they don’t mask. NEVER AGAIN at this Doyle or any other Doyle!

I hesitated multiple times to write this review as I am not a fan of giving negative reviews but the amount of mistakes has brought me here. First of all, the doctor was phenomenal. She took her time to give detailed explanation of the eye exam which I absolutely loved.

However, I find the reception very inadequate. The appointment system just seems flawed. Simple eye exam is needed, booked an appointment, arrived 10 mins earlier and expressed my sense of urgency multiple times by asking what time I will be done due to a work meeting that I needed to attend. Did pre-test, when the time came for my appointment, I was seated to wait for doctor. Waited 25 minutes (appointment was supposed to be for 30 mins) and inquired to reception what the delay is. I was told there is an emergency appointment therefore I will be examined 30 mins after my appointment time. I understand emergencies occur, but to not be informed after expressing I am in a rush; I found quite unprofessional. I had to leave as if I stayed my meeting would have been missed.

Booked appointment # 2 for eye exam; 25 mins wait once again.at least I didn't have other commitments, thus I stayed and did my exam.

Asked to provide receipt by email, reception confirmed my email address. I corrected my misspelled name and reception confirmed the new spelling. 6 hours later, still no receipt.my name / email address is still not correct in their system.

As I said, doctor was phenomenal, everything else; subpar!
