Dragon Beard Candy

J'ai eu la chance d'être introduit lors d'une visite avec mon ecole il y a longtemps et j'adore acheter des bonbons traditionnels fait avec une expertise! Nous sommes chanceux de les avoir a montreal encourgez ce merveilleux commerce et bonne année chinoise!

It's a cotton candy with peanut fillings. Be very wary if you have peanut allergy because the bonbon is very enticing. The sugar melts in your mouth but the filling makes you want to chew it and then the consistency becomes Ike a nougat in your mouth. Try it for the experience.

Nowadays, it's difficult to find places that still handmake it by hand. This is a must try if you're in the Montreal Chinatown area!

I was exited when I found this shop. It is a traditional desert that you rarely find in Taiwan now. It didn’t melt in my mouth right away but I am still happy with it!

Tasty dessert for those looking for something small and light after a meal in one of the many restaurants in China Town. Made of sugar and stuffed with peanuts and sesame seeds, it is a small sweet that looks like a cotton ball and is sold in a box of 6 units.

Ce kiosque est un petit bijou! Les bonbons à la barbe de dragons, les dumplings sucrés et les gauffres sont tous délicieux! Le monsieur et la dame qui y travaillent sont très gentils! Un incontournable du quartier chinois!

I always stop here on any trip to Montreal! It's a must. Although this time was a bit disappointed as I was buying to eat later so was given a box from the fridge and it wasn't as good. It didn't melt in your mouth and was more chewy. Still yummy but next time will have the freshly made ones only.

My first experience ever trying Dragon beard candy, I was impressed! It’s a cotton candy-like experience with a mature twist. Stop by for a Traditional Chinese candy experience! Crunchy peanut filling wrapped in a pillowy blanket of sugar and it is delicious. I’ve seen this tradition only in videos and on travel shows and was elated to finally have a taste for myself. Experience and memories to share>price.

I wish they sold these everywhere! The best tasting candies I've ever had! I grew up eating these, and every visit to Montreal, I try to get some! Thankfully, they were open this trip, and I was able to get some! So delicious! If you are in Montreal, then you have to make the trip to Chinatown and grab a few containers because they will get eaten fast!

Nice owners and a delicious taste I've never tried before, sorta like fine strands of hand-pulled taffy with nuts. Very tasty and can't wait to get more.

I had the sweet dumpling. While it was good and tasty, it was a little overprices to be honest. Nevertheless I enjoyed it and also the owner was super friendly.

This is a definite stop if you are visiting Montreal. Get the Dragon Beard Candy. You can watch the owner wrap the candy in front of you so that you can see how it is made. It's a really cool process to see. The candy was really good and I recommend stopping by this place to watch how it's made and to try it out.

Absolutely delicious egg ball waffle and dragon beard candy. Exactly like the ones i grew up with in Hong Kong! It's so hard to find anywhere - can't believe we stumbled upon this kind lady who makes it perfectly in MTL.

They're alll really rude. We went the first time and the woman was so rude about cash only. We didnt have change and she was so dismissivve abt making change. Then the next time we went with proper change, the man was rude to us as well shutting us down when we asked if it was fresh

Can’t even tell you where in toronto to even get this so when I saw this Chinatown Montreal, I knew I had to get it! And with my kids and the other party not knowing what this was, it was gonna be a treat for them!

Dragons beard candy is essentially a sweet snack. Stuffed with peanuts and wrapped around this floss like candy and if you have a bite and it some of the stringy pieces of the floss hang off your mouth, it looks like a dragons beard!

Really awesome! Won’t mention too much about service as it’s Chinatown in a small stall, so it’s as expected. But it was super quick to get our order!

Definitely recommend check them out if your in Montreal!
