Absolutely terrible customer service. Been waiting 17 weeks for items that are heavily stocked from ETS, intercooler and piping. I can understand a 8 week delay as the intercooler had to be anodized and i only ordered because they had a labour dau sale. I have to haggle this company just to get an email saying "we will figure out what's going on asap and let you know" to get ghosted right after, and multiple times I've had this happen on my order. At this point the company has basically taken and ran off with my money since they can't tell me the status of my order whatsoever.
Extremely disappointed and pissed. Avoid this company at all costs can't believe i gave them a 5 star review before.

I've dealt with Jason and Sean for the past few years they are very helpful and quick to respond. I've compared pricing to other local stores and they still manage to somehow beat everyone I've shopped around with. They offer no duty and brokerage fees for bringing parts over from the states or internationally which is a plus. They've offered free pick up, I've managed to pick up my ets down pipe from them in alberta for free from our northern city in edmonton even though dsg is located in quebec. They offer a big variety of products, with great knowledge, highly recommend looking at DSG for all your performance part needs.

Ordered a wide body kit for my gti through them. Was told on the phone that it would take 6 months to a year for it to come in. Its has now been 2 years and 10 months and i still have nothing to show for it. Ive been trying to get my money back since June but keep getting the runaround from customer service.
I wish i had read some of the other reviews before i ordered.

Worst experience ever. No news, unrealistic delevery timeline, no answer to multiple emails. Refused to refund me when I asked to, after they failed to deliver by the time they had said. Had to ask a refund via my credit card company. Please make yourself a favor and avoid.

Do not purchase products from these guys. They lied about the purchase of a body kit claiming they had placed the order for the parts on my behalf when in fact they never actually placed the order at all.waited well past the 8-12 months they claimed it would take and never once reached out to inform me of anything. They stopped taking any phone calls, stopped answering their chat services and stopped any other forms of communication. Thank god I was able to dispute the charges near 16 months later and retrieve my several thousands back. Others were not as fortunate and are having to take these guys to court.

Do yourself the hugest favor and find yourself another retailer and drive these guys out of business. There is absolutely no place in a community for scummy business practices like that.

Purchased a set of injectors for a good price. Other than a slight issue with initially receiving the wrong tracking number, which was resolved very quickly with some of the best customer service I've ever received. I would purchase from them again.

DONT SEND THEM ANY MONEY! They toke my money for 6 months and I didnt get any parts. THEY SCAM people. Not trust worthy. 1 stars to 2 stars because they refund me $3000 of $10,872.75 hopefully they didn't scam the rest of $7872.75.

I have been trying to get a refund for an order I placed over a year ago that the company states they can no longer get. I have called multiple times and been told I should see the refund in 10-14 days and each time it never comes. The last time the refund didn't come within the 10-14 days I was told by Eran Dahan "Okay so it looks like there was a connection error since your order was on our old site, rather than make you wait I'm going to have my team just send you a payment via Paypal instead, you'll see that next week! " I never gave this company my Paypal information and when I asked what Paypal they had on file I never received a response. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere to avoid the shady refund procedures.

I purchased a not popular item and it had to to be send from the distributor, it was gonna take a long time. I was advised the long waiting time just in case I wanted to cancel for a full refund, since it was gonna take longer than normal for the order to be delivered. I decide to keep the order and they kept me updated every step of the way it even was delivered before the expected date. It's been a long time that I haven't seen a great customer service. Simply the best!

Removed my poor review from this page as Sean the owner, once made aware of the communication issues between myself and his employees, called me directly. He explained their situation and had my coilovers delivered very quickly following the call. The fortune auto coilovers are absolutely perfect, definitely worth the money and the wait. I am looking forward to ordering future parts from dsg performance and I am grateful that Sean is as involved as he is.

Ordered a set of Ark Performance AB-52S wheels from these folks. Wheels were in stock and shipped very quickly and were at my house in about a week and a half. There was a billing issue with my order but Eran worked with me to help get the issue resolved and everyone was very kind during the entire interaction. Admittedly was leery at first but all-in-all I'm a happy camper. Will for sure be purchasing more from these folks in the future

DSG has been a huge help in the modifications of my CLA45 AMG. I recently purchased 2 AMS Intercoolers and DSG had the fastest shipping I’ve ever encountered. I believe his name is Aaron he emailed and called me when I first ordered to tell me it was back ordered which is great, and then updates me today at the end of the month to tell me that it’s on track to when he said it would be coming in. That’s A1 customer service to update me twice making sure I have a peace of mind that I’m not being scammed. I would and will 100% be shopping DSG performance. Can’t wait for my order to come in!

Literally the worst. Took months when the estimated time was 3 weeks tops to rebuild my transmission. I had to pay a huge storage fee because of this. Horrible customer service, they never answer the phone or get back to you. I had to call everyday for 2 weeks just to hear back. I got my transmission back just to have a bunch of codes pop up. The associate who responded literally just says “oh my team must have forgot to program that, talk to your dealership” then comes back and says they don’t reimburse… mind you for something that was their job in the first place. Save yourself frustration, time, and money.

Worst Place ever to do Business, ordered Wheels and processed payment. Wheels still hasn’t shipped. Called and politely asked what’s the ETA, the costumer service guy, (It’s Only one guy) disrespectfully advised me I can cancel order and receive Refund by tomorrow, I Greatly Obliged. Not doing business with a Disrespectful Lame Scammer. Pls send that Refund before I call my bank and report you to the authorities!

Let me first start off and say that I am thankful to have DSG Performance to help me out in fulfilling my exhaust needs. Sean and Jason were a huge help in making the process so much easier for me and Sean gave instant feedback for any questions I had in mind about the product (lovely Fi Exhaust). Was doing a mad hunt for days for a good set of lugs to go with my new summer set up on my 86. Discovered project kics and instantly had to have. I reached out to many companies in the GTA without a single response. Found DSG performance one morning while still hunting and to my complete surprise actually got a live human (sean) on their web chat.fast forward a couple weeks ran into some backorder issues but again Sean helped me sort out. The next time I reached out about my order status (was on a pretty tight deadline) I spoke to Eran, he got me up to speed and ensured my lugs would reach me in time for the new set up. Eran also answered other questions I had about coilovers and lowering springs and was super helpful. I received my order on time wooo! Extremely happy with the entire experience. I highly recommend DSG. Excellent customer service. Great guys.

Great company. Great prices on parts. I’ve been searching for a company that ships hard to find performance parts in Canada. Only downside is long wait but they have great customer service if you have questions on a particular part or on your order just give them a shout, they have excellent customer service.

Amazing customer support. I had part of my order missing so I contacted DSG. Before I could even panic, Sean and Eran immediately got back to me and had quick responses every time. They handled everything and I received what I was missing within the week. Absolutely a 5/5 experience.

Very disappointed with the customer service. Its been 8 months now since ordering a bronze set of TE37s. Originally was told it would have been a month or so to get them. Responses to my inquiries have been rare and not very informative.

I want my money back.

Finding it rather strange and ironic that some recent reviews are experience similar issues that I am, so for the sake of saving people time down the road, I figured I'd share my experiences so far-

Placed an order for a full varis widebody kit for my car (talking over $10k+), last December. Of course I received the holiday excuse as far as my order lagging, which I get. That's fine. I figured by end January, the ball would be rolling on my kit. I'm fully aware these kits have a minimum of a 6 month wait time.
May of this year swung by (5 months in), and I started making phone calls, because I hadn't heard a thing regarding my order. Called, no updates on my order. Called again a few weeks later, I was told it had appeared that the side skirt (or something of that nature, was hard to hear over the phone), was finished and the rest was still being worked on. I called back the third week of July, and didn't even get a solid response as far as my order went, as if was off in the void. I was told I would have some answers and get called back either the end of that week, or the following week with an update. Two weeks went by, and I hadn't received a phone call. I decided to call, and I still got the same response, as far as my order not having any updates.
At this point, I'm getting more aggravated every time I call, I feel like I am beginning to get the run around, as if my order was never placed, or if they are middle manning through another distributor, and not ordering directly through Varis.
The car community is thick, and people share their experiences. Reaching out to friends that have this same kit, that purchased through other distributors, have told me they received their kits as little as 4 months. I am now going on 8+ months.
Hearing that, I couldn't help but reach out to said competitors to see what their ETA was like for an order like the one I placed through DSG, and let alone, they were all shocked once I had told them I had been waiting 8 months so far. I am feeling extremely embarrassed at this point, sharing those details with other distributors. As a business owner myself, you put yourself in a place to go above and beyond to take care of customers who are willing to put forth a significant part of their pocketbook because they want to do business with you, whether it be through reference, or word of mouth, etc. I did not expect the type of customer service that I am receiving and I am very disappointed, considering especially for what I purchased. Communication goes a long way, even if an order is taking longer than usual, or admitting some messed up on ordering something, it is better to communicate than to leave someone ghost.

EDIT: after what I felt was a bad experience, Sean reached out to me to fix an issues they were having with both the manufacturer and their email service. Long story short Sean was great and was able to fix everything and make me a very happy customer. A+ to Sean and the team for dealing with me while I was very upset and getting everything straightened out!

Amazing company, I live all the way overseas and I had questions about a products and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was would work out for my car and even gave me great advice on top of that 5 out 5 for sure.

Update (3/27/19) : Since leaving my review, Sean reached out to me. He got an update on my spoiler, an ETA, and refunded me shipping. I'm glad to see his team working to make it right.

Impossible to get any customer service. Ordered a Voltex spoiler Sep 12,2018. I understood it was supposed to be a 6 month wait. We're coming up on month 7 now, and I can't get an answer from anyone on the status of my order. I've tried email, and response is generic and didn't answer my questions. I've tried messenger, and I'm not getting answers to my questions either. It's a shame when you spend over $1500 for a part, and get treated like this.

Excellent customer service! I actually was helped by a real person instead of a auto record when I called in! Sean was extremely helpful and efficient with follow up! As far as the wheels we ordered so far they look great! My son is very happy with them!

J’avais entendu que des bon commentaires de cette shop de Montréal dans passé. Et lorsque j’ai commander ma cage autopower dans un groupe buy qu’ils ont organiser. J’ai très vite comprit pourquoi les commentaires était aussi bon! Jason au vente a sû me diriger vers ce qui me convenait, a répondu très rapidement tout au long du processus! Pour finalement, en seulement 5 semaines recevoir ma cage! Il est clair que je vais refaire affaire avec cette shop et je la recommande sans hésiter!

Oringally gave DSG a bad review because of communication issues. They responded by saying that they’ve expanded faster than expected which I can see now is true. Instead of just ignoring my compliants they’ve done everything they can to make it right by me and now every time I have a question I get a immediate response. As a business owner I really appreciate this thank you.

I first heard about DSG about 4 years ago when my mom ordered me a gauge pod for Christmas. Well fast forward a to 2017 and I hit black ice and crushed my front bumper on my Evo X. I did some searching around and found DSG again, also found out that they were a distributor for Varis products. I got in contact with Sean Segal and he helped me through the entire process. He knew exactly what I wanted for my car. He communicated with me very well for the first couple months. Then commutation started to die down as there was nothing to update on. I am very big in updates especially when $2,000 is at hand. I was a little frustrated when Sean had told me my bumper was on its way to the States because after he said that it was very difficult to reach to him to get an update and went quite some time without one.

However, I won’t let this take away from a 5 star review because once it arrived, it came exactly how he described and exactly the way I ordered and Sean picked up on his communication with me. Which I appreciated.

2018:
I was looking new parts for my car and messaged Sean to let him know what I was looking for and he mentioned their 10 year anniversary box. It sounded great! So I ordered one. Cost me $100, which in my mind was expensive, but it came with tons of goodies and more. Totally worth the money. Also a great gift if you don’t know what to get your car friends.

Overall I am happy and I feel that DSG is a great company and so are the people who work for it. These have been my 2 or 3 experiences with them Pretty much exactly How they happened.

***TL;DR***

DSG is flexible, personable and communicates well with their customers and is one company that is definitely worth your time and money.

I have been a customer of DSG for many years. What attracted me towards their site initially was the quality of parts they offered for my Evo X in my exhaustive searches. What I’ve learned about these guys over the years is that they have the same passion for cosmetic and performance upgrading as I do. The kicker is they have the same perfectionist attitude as I do for the quality of my build. The vision I had for my Evo X is almost finally achieved and these guys played a significant role getting me there. Special shout out to Sean and Jason who both spent more time than they needed to chatting with me and I can tell you they’re genuinely enthusiastic about their customers builds and DSG’s role in that. They take pride in their company. Absolutely recommended.

So I've been dealing with Jason Hempey at DSG Performance and he is by far the best salesman that I've ever dealt with. He responds to me extremely fast and goes beyond to help me. I've been looking at buying a set of seats now for the last week or two and have messaged him with questions almost every day. Not once has he complained and he even offered to order me seats, send them to someone to reupholster them and then send them to me. Also, in the past I ordered an AMS front mount intercooler and injectors from them for my GTR and they could give me a better total price (cost of parts plus shipping) for the parts than AMS Performance did.

Overall they have a great staff, really good prices and are extremely helpful. I will be recommending them to all of my car friends.
