Dunn's Famous Decarie

It was worth the visit, and the atmosphere was quite right for the moment. The staff were helpful, and it's comforting to be in a place where you can get good food. The bathroom is also quite good with a very nice smell. The restaurant Latkes (fried potato and onions, I believe) is so tasty and yummy. Every bite is worth the money.

We went for Smoke Meat. I didn't realize they only had old fashioned, which is not my favorite, but it was good.

I work down the street, I went in for a smoke meat. There were 2 waiters a woman and a man very young, There was an Uber driver waiting and they had 3 orders hanging in the kitchen. I waited a whole 10 minutes and I really mean10 minutes then she the girl comes and tells me there closed
So I tell her why when you saw me come in why didn’t you tell me it’s closed but you made wait like a fool when the kitchen was still preparing. She had such a impolite and dismissive attitude.
I’m a waitress too down the street, we at least don’t wait to tell people we’re closed after waiting like fools for 10 mins when they’re still serving Uber……. Left such a bad taste for the horrible service. Never again I’m giving Dunn’s the chance to treat me like that………she could have handled this differently by telling me they were closed when I came in.
Where I work her attitude and service would have been unacceptable
Never coming back. And anybody who asks me I’ll tell them to never go to Dunn’s Decarie

On l'a pris pour emporter. Ça reste quand même meilleur en restaurant quand c'est fraîchement cuit et assemblé.

Everytime I order via Uber eats or other delivery partners they always make mistakes on the food. And when you call them the girl
On the phone is rude and then.they tell you to call the delivery partner to get refunded. Worst customer service ever. I will never order here again.

Ordered hot chicken, where was the chicken? Fries were cut so small and no taste, wife had smoked meat, she said it was good, but very small sandwich, found it very expressive, don't think I'll be returning soon, service excellent

Love this place! Came a few days ago again and visit frequently. Tried their club roll (SO GOOD!), and of course the smoked meat sandwich. Delicious!
And the kids cheese pizza.soooooo cheesy and delicious

Love this place! Visited Montreal from Toronto for the first time and I am so glad to have decided to try their smoked meat sandwich.
So unbelievably delicious and juicy and tender.
It's a bit pricey for just a sandwich ($18) but definitely a MUST if you've never tried it at least once!

Smoked meat sandwich for $20 was good. However, the pasta for $21 was terrible. All they did was boil penne pasta, poured some whipping cream, cut some chicken, and called it alfredo pasta. This is not worth $21 at all. Save your money.

I got the small smoked sandwich and the fries was way too much to finish so not need to worry about the serving size. The meat is so tender and juicy, I asked for middle and it was a combination of lean meat and fat

It's a good place for a lleisurely gathering when they're not busy, but the service is hit-or-miss, sometimes very good, other times mediocre, depending on the server.

Very disappointed with the food I ordered today. No effort was put in the chicken alfredo. My child could literally make pasta better than this. Very very disappointed. No flavor whatsoever. Would never spend money on this pasta. Thank you for nothing Dunn's.

Bonnes portions. Si vous prenez le smoked meat ne le prenez pas gras. Vous allez en perdre la moitié même si vous aimez normalement une viande plus grasse.

One of the best burgers in town, Dunn's Famous Burger. The service is excellent. Be aware that you need to show your vaccine passport to enter. They have place dividers in-between tables to give you a sense of tranquility.

Everyone is well protected. Plexi glass everywhere. Out side terrace. Food is great. Service is always with a smile.

Very bad service rude and don't have what they advertise wasted an hour driving out of my way to get there they have zero cheese cake and I asked for Dunn's spaghetti and it came with penne don't waste your time on this location

My friend and i philo ordered the all dressed hamburger steak and to be honest it was disgusting. The waitress Pamela who was working that night gave us the order in bags and told us that we cant eat inside because we ordered take out. We paid and sat inside waiting for our food to come. That was very unprofessional behaviour.

My friend chief rizk and I were excited to try dunn’s for the first time. As we completed our order successfully, a waitress named PAMELA was very unprofessional and her fledgling behaviour lead to unhappy customers like us. I personally do not appreciate the incompetence! I hope the proprietors of the business will take action!

J’ai fait une commande pour apporter et choisit l’assiette de smoke meat…Supposer 1/2 livre de viande…Hmmmmmm avoir su j’aurais pris un simple sandwich car il a autant de viande dedans le sandwich que l’assiette…Et moitié prix…. Et il y avait vraiment pas 1/2 livre…J’ai eu 250 gr maximum…. La viande était vraiment trop grasse pour du mi maigre. Sur 250gr j’ai eu droit à 30gr de gras. Et une mini portion de frite.

L’assiette a 21$+tx+tips=27$ est carrément du vol.

Food was delicious and our waitress was super nice, not sure what her name was but was the young blonde girl working in the dinning room Friday June 11th around midnight, despite the restaurant having filled up and having to run around alot, she never lost her pleasant demeanor. Thank you for being there and making our first dinner in a restaurant after the passed year, even more enjoyable!

Best Montreal smoked meat anywhere! Service was excellent and the young man that served us (sorry, I forgot to write his name down) was excellent! Lots of parking as well and in Montreal that's a bonus!

Ordered 2 smokemeat sandwiches, was dry and discusting. Got home started eating, ended up in the garbage.

A regular customer since 1973. Came specially into the city because I had not had a Dunns smoked meat in about 4 years. So with covid it's take out only. What I got was a pile of grissol and fat between two slices of rye bread. Thank you another Montreal landmark gone to the dogs. I will never go bacj.

Its only takeaway currently but the smoke meat is to die for only downside it takes a bit of time to get your order

This Dunn’s location 7385 Blvd. Decarie is awesome! I was greeted/served by a wonderful young lady Beata. I was looked after quickly, the location was set up extremely well due to Covid-19. The food. Smoked Meat Poutine and a Large Smoked Meat on Rye was beyond amazing. Outstanding experience in every way and THANK YOU to the entire Dunn’s Decarie Team!

Got my food today payed $50.25 and had a huge surprise when I opened my order to eat it like that took 1 large plate and split it in to i was not happy. I will not suggest this place to anyone I know.

Loved the smoked meat fried rice and the service was fantastic.waiter didnt even mark anything down.and didnt forget nothing

It was not my first time at Dunn's Restaurant but it was my husband's first time.
We ordered entrees, spring rolls, egg rolls, chicken wings and our favorite drinks.
The service was impeccable, the food amazing as well. We were very satisfied so we will definitely be going back.

Le repas de viande fumée le pire que j'ai jamais mangé. La viande fumée était froide et très sèche à tel point qu'elle se défaisait en petits morceaux granuleux et les frites, bien que ce soit des frites maison, elles étaient froides.
Je suis allé à ce resto en pleine heure de pointe ce qui ne me laisse croire que les aliments sont toujours servis de cette façon alors pour moi, plus jamais ce restaurant.

Pretty awesome smoke meat. Plus their both seats has alot of room which is good for a 'plus' guy like myself.

Toujours rapide, même dans les heures plus achalandées. Les serveurs son ultra sympathiques et le smoked meat est immanquablement bon. Mon copain et moi adorons nous y rendre pour un snack de fin de soirée, l'assiette de smoked meat est parfaite pour partager à deux. 10/10

I have been trying to find a good smoke meat place so i tried dunns but truthfully i find their smoke meat to be inconsistent the first i went it wasn't too bad the second time i asked for medium fat & he put this big chunk of fat which was uneatable then i go back & told him that i wanted medium fat not just a chunk of fat & so he gave me medium which i found to be very dry & tasteless im not crazy about this place but im not going back

Ordered a jumbo smoked meat special (sandwich, fries, coleslaw and pickle) from the manager for takeout. I received a single sandwich and was charged $17.00 plus tax. When I asked about the rest of my order, he shrugged and said this is what you ordered. I was then informed that if I wanted to add fries, coleslaw and a pickle, it would be another $5.00

No attempt to fix things. Just a shrug and a smirk.

Misunderstandings do occur, but the arrogance and rudeness displayed by the manager was pretty surprising. The customer is always right?
Not here apparently. My wife and I have eaten here in the past, but I can assure the owners that this was the last time I will ever come to this restaurant.

Thinking about the sandwich I had a week ago making my mouth water as I write this.

The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff is polite and fast. The food is superb. I can highly recommend this place!

For only 25$, you can get a decent steak with a big plate of appetizers and a side diah which you can pick fron fries, mashed potatoes or salad. The food was delicious while the service was welcoming and friendly. They also have these mini desserts that are only 2$ each.

I stopped in to pick up a sandwich with sweet potato fries, also the carrot cake, the carrot cake was great, but I found it expensive $8.00, i mean it’s not fine dining. The sand which was good, it comes with coleslaw, they only gave me 3 forkfuls, (cheap) also I opted for the sweet potato fries, I counted them, they gave me 22 fries! It didn’t even fill a 1/4 of the box, and for an extra $3.00 well I found it skimpy.total bill $33.00 and change. I would really like a refund! This was not a $33.00 meal.
