Lots of nice green grass. Benches. Large soccer nets, field in great shape. Some parking all around. Water fountain working again. Mini-library looks like a gingerbread house. Bathroom is in cabin.
Great place to go from nearby. There is also a book sharing equipment which people can share read books to others. The basketball/tennis site opens everyday.
Big park, huge. This can be a busy place, with limited parking, but side street parking is available. Bathrooms! Outdoor water fountain and waterbottle refill station. Many trees to shade, but only near building. Sandy kids play area with swings.
The soccer fields here are full of pot holes and is a giant hill. The park is badly maintained with much of the grass dying within the first month of summer.
My Childhood park (1980s early 1990s) I always remember climbing the big trees, playing hockey and skating on their rink in the winter, Beaver/cubs/Scouts in the community building, and playing soccer on the fields in the summer. I Love this Park and will always have great memories!
