Écocentre Côte-des-Neiges

Workers were letting only one car in at a time so you’d wait despite there being more than a dozen open spaces for refuse. I’ve been there in the past where it was much faster so they were being jerks about it this time. It took an hour for 10-12 cars to get through. They don’t care about recycling and people turned around d and left it took so long. Montréal is full of it when they ask us to recycle.

Excellent service and very organized.
Check in lady was very nice and helpful of where everything goes.
There’s a young guy who walks around helping people, whether you are not sure where it goes or possibly too heavy items.

I have been going there for the last twenty years. And twice a year. The staff at the reception are very helpful, always pleasant and polite. Same for the other staff: they help you if you forgot which container it is, they are always polite and friendly. I never in 20 years had a bad experience there. So thanks to all of you that work there!

Les employés ne sont pas courtoie. Te hurle presque dessus. Te crie de rester calme, lorsque tu l’es déjà et ne répondront pas à vos questions. Vraiment ils ont une drôle d’énergie. S’ils n’aiment pas leur travaillent, ils ne devraient pas le montrer autant au clients. Ont vient ici pour un service, et on fait la bonne chose de venir déposer nos choses ici en temps que bon samaritain. Mais à la place de livrer le service avec respect, certains employers sont vraiment irrespectueux et non professionnels.
Vraiment déçu, car certains employés sont formidables, gentil, serviable et d’autres sont vraiment insupportable.

Victims of their success. If you arrive in the afternoon weekdays, you may find a very long wait line. The first picture is Tuesday 2PM, the cars in the picture are only the end of the line, there are 15-20 more cars in line after the corner and it's not quick. All renovation workers come dump here, so plan accordingly. Plus, lots of people means the containers will get full so the center may refuse your waste. Different situation on Saturday, as you can see the barrier is empty, no wait line. Also pay attention to the days the center is closed - depends on the season. In winter, they are closed on Monday and Sunday

Le côté négatif c'est dur de rejoindre un membre du personnel au téléphone. Rendu sur place, j'ai pu donner mes ampoules fluocompactes sans que l'employé fasse des histoires avec des détails insignifiants. L'information que je veux donner aux gens c'est qu'il est mieux de se présenter sur place au lieu d'appeler au téléphone.
