The school has very good teachers. They take care of everything and are very responsible to us. Each small mistake we made, they will point out and let us to fix it. This is my first time in driving the Manuel vehicle. I was so stressful and the truck is not like the regular cars that is easy to control. We passed the exam in the first time. After the class, we are well prepared for driving on the road. No fear, no nervous anymore.

First of all I am very greatfull to have a teacher or master, who gave training for the truck Mr. Ferhet.
I am very thankful to him. He help me a lot to pass the exam.
He is the owner of the school and also a great teacher. He always gave me fatherly advice.taught me a lot of things.very generous, gentle and friendly.
Bytheway there was also two other teacher (Mr. Piro and Mr. Bill), gave me training. Very nice person.they share their experience with me.
And also the lady at the front desk she was very nice to us. When I went there with my friend to take admission I asked a lot of questions and she answered all of them very gently.
Over all, I would say its a best place to go there and they will never disappoint you insha allah. If you read this comment I recommend you to go there to take train for car, bus and truck.

My review is 10 years late but I saw Mr. Farhat today by coincidence and thanked him again for his services. His calm nature and demeanor is really why his school is far beyond the competition. Driving an 18 wheeler for the first time is a little nerve wrecking but Mr. Farhat believes in you and that boosts your confidence. I did my lessons full time and was ready for the test before the one month waiting period. Its a great industry and salaries have increased 30% recently due to the demand for drivers, you'll make the money back in less than a month. If your considering entering the trucking industry you will be disappointed at cheap schools who send you to the SAAQ when your not ready and you end up failing and get discouraged. Get a good first step-in the trucking field with people like Mr. Farhat who've been a driving instructor for 20+ years. His techniques and teaching methods are priceless.

Trans Canada was really a good school. They have the utmost respect, professionalism and experience to share with you. Their staff at their office was very warm and welcoming since day one. The theory sessions were very useful as I could apply what I was taught on the road. Huge thanks to Nargis, Abdul Rehman and Omar.

I had a fantastic experience at TransCanada driving school. I bought a book to study for theory exam and with that the school also provided UNLIMITED online sessions through a live feed during which you are able to ask questions and receive extended explanations. TransCanada school also prepared me well for my road test at the SAAQ. I mastered Circle Check with two different instructors both extremely professional and courteous and my experience on the road was delightful. In general I strongly recommend TransCanada driving school, they are professional, polite, and make you feel like part of their family.
Learn to drive with TransCanada, you will learn the proper way and pass your exam one shot…. I did!

Je suis très satisfait de ma formation à l’école Trans-Canada, c’est école très sérieuse. Les moniteurs sont très très sympas et patients (Monsieur Ferhat et bill et le 3ème j’ai oublié son prénom)

Et la dame à l’administration est tellement gentille et professionnelle.

Tellement de bien a dire de cette école, je la recommande les yeux fermés.

I passed my exam today at the SAAQ. I had two teachers— Farhat (owner) & Bill. Bill is an exceptionally great teacher, very laid back & helpful. Farhat has the tendency to grab the steering wheel while you’re driving. Which is not a very pleasant experience. I had signed up for 17 hours + extra time for exam included, or not, I was told a day before my exam that I haven’t paid the entire amount. I paid 2100$ initially and was told I took an extra class (I was not aware as they never asked me if I needed extra time) they also told me I will have to pay for the exam. Which totals to another 560$. I had a tight budget so I purposed Farhat if I can pay him the half now and the other half later to which he agreed and that was nice of him.

So during my lessons, I wasn’t thought how to do inspection (circle check). I had to self teach while watching videos. Albeit I do think it’s important to do circle check for every student before driving for a better learning.

On the the very day of the exam, at 12: 20pm - my exam was to start at 12: 40pm. Farhat discouraged me and told me I am not ready for the exam even though he gave me an extra class, I will still need more time. He told me this 20 minutes before the exam. I was extremely nervous but decided to do the exam anyways, as I felt comfortable with my driving and backing up. And was confident because Bill had told me I will be fine.

Moral of the review is, the owner cares very much about the money and will try to discourage you before the exam so you get nervous and fail. Failing means you have to take more classes, which means more money in his pocket.

If it wasn’t for Bill, I would give this place 1 star.

If you are like I was, you want to get your class 1 license, but you don’t want to give 5 months of your life to a full time school program, so you are looking for a school that will allow you to get your class 1 for a reasonable price, in a reasonable amount of time. After looking around in Montreal, this is the driving school I chose to go for.

I signed up for the class 1 course and paid $1,700 for 20 hours of training + $255 to rent the truck for the exam. I took the class strictly on the automatic so no shifting to learn because 20 hours of training is not a lot for a big truck. 20 hours was enough to get me ready for the class 1 exam with the help and expertise of Mr. Ferhet, Mr. Bill and Mr. Piro who were all great teachers.

I passed the exam on my first try. If you listen to Mr. Ferhet and you study your inspection and you are careful at the exam, there is no question you can get your class 1 license with 20 hours of training from this driving school.

A very warm and welcoming manager, Mme Nargis will give you a breakddown of the options you have for financing, hours, driving options, schedule, etc. I was interested in driving a manual truck in the beginning, but later switched to automatic because it was much easier for me (they let me try both). Mr. Farhat, the owner of the business and one of the instructors has a great team. I had an amazing experience with all the instructors there and they all know what they are doing. They are well behaved and respect you. The contrast from the previous school that I went (I won't name the school) is like going from 0 to a 100 real quick. I ended up taking around 40 hours of sessions which include inspection, driving in the city and the highway and 45 degree backing. All these parts are required to pass the test at the SAAQ and I passed on the first try in Laval. Mr Farhat will tell you when you are ready for the exam so you need to listen to him. I am very grateful to Mr. Farhat and his team for teaching me how to operate a class 1 vehicle.

Terrible experience in this school. I paid in advance for 2 hours truck driving practice, the instructor called the practice finish with 30 minutes earlier than the time I paid. I complained it to Farhat Khan, he said he could compensate me 30 minutes practice only if I buy another 2 hours practice from them. Ironically, he always said "I will make my students smile". Don't believe it. This school is a trap, they don't respect your requests, even if they promise to satisfy your requirements in the beginning, they won't do it. Think about it before you pay your money and spend your time on this school.

I had an incredible experience taking extra driving classes. With the help of Nargis, and the driving instructors, my driving journey for Class 5 has been smooth and organized. Very successful driving school, I definitely would recommend it to other candidates.

Personally, I had good experience with team at Trans Canada near Du College metro. Everyone is very supportive and provide guidance to get the road test passed.

I toke my classes from Star Driving, I failed my driving exam on first attempt. I went toke appointment at this driving institution, my driving teacher explained me my mistakes and he fought me how can I correct those mistakes, so I can pass my exam. I toke some extra classes and when my teacher told I am ready for the exam, I went to give my driving test and I passed it. I can’t thank enough my teacher and the whole staff for helping the whole process. The teacher are very polite and very knowledgeable. I am very impress with their work. They teaches you everything in very easy way. They put a lot of effort in their work. The best driving institution ever.

I went from Tecnic to here, and I never looked back. The people are kind and understanding, the teachers are actually helpful and care about your driving, and they give you classes relatively quickly. Shoutout to Omar, the GOAT. Avant de débuter votre inscription pour la formation Classe1 il faut vérifier l'état de véhicule pour votre cours de pratique pour travailler l'application de la technique du double embrayage pour transmission manuelle (avec Transcanada très bon camion).
Aurez-vous le même formateur du début à la fin (Il est difficile de recevoir une formation efficace si l'on change de formateur constamment) (avec Transcanada M. Farhat un formateur professionnel)
Les cours de pratique sont planifiés suivant vos disponibilités.
Avec Transcanada vous pouvez travailler différents trajectoires de marche arrière dans un terrain privé contrairement aux autres écoles qui ne possèdent pas un endroit pour pratiquer.
Toutes ces conditions m'ont aidé à réussir mon examen pratique Classe1 F M.
