Ecole de Conduite Omega Driving School

Completed phase 1 theory classes recently and found the school staff friendly and professional. Shout-out to my instructor Pierre who kept the 2 hour classes fun and interesting throughout the program. Looking forward to completing the rest of the program.

My instructor Jennifer was super helpful during my classes and was always giving me constructive criticism. She always made sure of our security before anything else.

The worst ever! Not qualified instructor! Horrible place to learn, very expensive, very misleading and wordy boring binder they offer and have! Greedy stuff.very bad experience!

My son just passed his driving test thanks to Omega Driving School! Really impressed with the Omega Driving School’s systems and lessons plan. We were lucky enough to have met Tomik, he was so pleasant, patient and knowledgeable about all things driving/cars/tips & tricks to park, etc. We were matched with a phenomenal instructor. The whole experience tremendously helped my son feel much more confident and competent as a driver thanks to Tomik’s guidance. As a parent of a young driver, and a driver myself, I 100% recommend learning with Omega Driving School!

Very professional, wonderful management and staff. I highly recommend Omega Driving School to every person out there who is willing to obtain their license. I've gained new driving strategies and techniques, driving with discipline that helps me to be a safe driver on the road in different traffic conditions. Tomik if you're seeing this, I owe my driver license to you. Tomik is very professional, kind, encouraging and knows how to make the driving experience stress free. He's a very honest and down to earth guy who just wants you to be safe when driving on the road. Everyone at Omega really worked together to help me gain my confidence as a driver. For someone who has insane road anxiety, my instructor was very patient with me throughout my lessons. Four years and 2 driving schools later, I finally passed my road test thanks to my instructor Jaques:)

Hands down the best driving school in Montreal! The instructors are very knowledgeable of Highway Code and very helpful! The administration is willing to schedule classes that work for your different needs whether it's school or work and everyone is very nice. I passed my theory and practical exam at the first asking! Couldn't have chosen a better school

My comment and the other 1 star comments represent the reality of this school / the experience you will have if you enroll at Omega. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND AVOID THIS SCHOOL. The lack of professionalism is OUTSTANDING. Driving teachers are always checking their phone during class which means that you are not fully safe with them. They will literally BULLY YOU for the smallest mistake especially Zineb, Franc and another middle aged man I forgot his name. You will never ever start your driving lesson on time because the teacher you are scheduled with will ALWAYS be late OR if you are with Franc for example, he will let you wait for him to finish smoking his cigarette. All the drivers certainly know how to drive but do they have what it takes to teach? DEFINITELY NOT. Besides, you will hardly be able to communicate with the school. If you go in person, you will most likely walk into an empty office and wait for an unknown amount of time because the guy secretary is getting Starbucks. Also, they very rarely pick up the phone so the best way to contact them is via email and even that, they will send you an email that is written in an unprofessional manner/ literally sounds like they are yelling at you. The theory teacher will put you on the spot infront of the class and humiliate you and the list goes on and on and on. I honestly feel like they were short staffed and hired anyone and everyone to give driving lessons.

! Just go somewhere else where you will be RESPECTED as a student.

You cannot choose english as language on the site. It this on purpose or just a mistake? Only online courses offered. Why not offer again face-to-face classes? Very limited. Pathetic.

It’s a good school to learn and refresh driving when compared to other schools in downtown. All the driving instructors are good and they know what to do. Special kudos to zainab and jade. Both were outstanding, very friendly. I passed my exam today morning on the first try

This driving school is a joke. Most of these reviews must be fake. I signed up due to proximity and convenience.you’re better off going to literally any other driving school, just don't go here.

The administration is very mediocre, unclear, and offer very inconsistent service.

The teacher was horrendous. Farouz had no control of the class. He is the wrong person to be teaching these classes. We spent more time taking attendance and arguing about people turning on cameras during the zoom sessions than covering material. Full on arguments with yelling and swearing between students and the teacher would not be a rare occasion. Name calling, students in the chat using homophobic slurs, and insulting each other like children. We wasted so much time on nonsense, that the 2-hour classes sometimes were only about 45-60 minutes of covering material. I did not learn one thing from these classes.
Farouz the teacher just reads off a PowerPoint presentation, word for word, the titles, the headers, the brackets, quotations etc. … He does not actually teach anything. He literally reads every single word on the slides. And when near the end of class and he had wasted too much time having arguments with the students he would just skip through slides to get to the end of his PowerPoint presentation. He would be better off emailing a copy of the PowerPoint slides to everyone and not even having a class. The teacher would go on and on with stories from his personal life that had nothing to do with driving.

2 of the in-car instructors were great.the rest were terrible. Some of the instructors were very stressful and not at all conducive to a productive learning environment in the car, constantly making inappropriate jokes about women that were walking down the street, distracting, and giving unclear instructions, yelling random things that they thought was funny. They were constantly cancelling driving appointments last minute with no reason. A few times you would show up for an appointment and no one was even there, and the door was locked, so you had to stand outside on the street waiting for someone to show up.

Overall, I would not recommend this institution. It’s an absolute circus. This is one of the least pleasurable interactions with a business that I have ever had in my life.

Avoid this school at all cost. DO NOT GO HERE!

This driving school was the best investment I could have made. I am a much more confident driver. I enjoyed every single driving class and I have learned so much from Franklin. I highly recommend this school if you are looking into getting your license. Everything was amazing and I got my license right after.

I want to give a huge thank you to this school not only for the end result but for making the journey an amazing one as well.
There is a great sense of ownership and passion at this school and it shows in the classroom, the instructors and the staff. They are very personable as well as patient and caring.
I have had a great year here and got to know some great people.
If your looking to find a school to learn, train or start your driving journey than I highly recommend Omega.
They really go the extra mile and to them you are not just a client your a guest in their home.
Lots of businesses could take notes from them on customer service!
In the classroom they take the time to explain everything beyond what the SAAQ requires and show practical examples.
In the cars the instructors are patient and have a wealth of knowledge to help you understand the roads as well as utilizing what you have learned in the classrooms.
They adapt the teaching to each student and cater to individual learning needs.
It was overall a great experience.

I booked one month before to get the time where I am available.
On Saturday I got a call asking me if it was possible to come 30 minutes before on Monday there was no problem since I was off.
Today for my tomorrow's class I just got a call they said

they had a car issue
and they canceled

my tomorrow's pratice.

I've already paid for 8 hours.

Canceling changing what was

scheduled one month before
makes me so worried.

Honestly bad quality and commuication they hire unprofessional drivers either their way to training students or their behiover, plus they reduce the driving lesson time constantly. Not recomanded. The money goes to trush, it cost almost $1000 to get high quality as we expected and supposed to be.

I dont normally leave reviews but was really impressed by the professionalism of the staff at this driving school even when i called them right after they opened after being closed for three months due to COVID_19 and told them i have a test scheduled in a couple of days and needed to pass cause i need a car for work they made sure they book me all the lessons i need at all the timings that i asked for.they are on top of their safety measures game the teachers are always cheerful and informative and the administrative staff are absolutely wonderful

This is the WORST driving school in Quebec. Very poor communication not reliable not professional they are very lazy and hate speaking on the phone. If you want something you got to go there and ask them in real life. Do not waste your money in this place because you will have a hard time obtaining you driver's license. Teachers only speak english and their english is not understandable. Please chose any other driving school than this one.

Passed my driving test on the first try! Driving for the first time in my thirties was intimidating, but the teacher was great. To the point and direct in his instructions, which is what you need in this situation, but also friendly! They can be hard to reach by phone (pandemic not helping I'm sure) so email is best. Five stars!

J'ai passé l'examen pour avoir l'attestation Mars dernier et dès que l'école recommence les cours en Juin, il m'appelle pour savoir est-ce que je continue les cours sans me donner aucune information sur mon attestation et comment je peux l'avoir. Depuis j'appelle presque chaque semaine sans réponse. L'école doit travailler sur la communication.

Very good service. I only took the rental of the vehicle + 2 hours of practice on the day of my exam and it was very useful because I was comfortable with the car and the examiner of the SAAQ made me take EXACTLY the same path I had practiced 1 hour earlier with Omega! I felt very confident, thank you!

One of the worst driving school ever. They do not prepare you for the examinations at all and make you pay everything at once.

Very calm and cool place to prepare yourself for the test, plus the receptionist has a cheerful spirit and will hepl you during the processus

Great Location, Great and Friendly Staff. Good Cars for road practice. Passed my driving test first try. Highly Recommend them to my friends and family. Just don't forget your textbook for theory classes.
