WATCH OUT! Despite there being no concept of auto renew (12 month fixed term contracts), I was auto renewed into a new contract without my permission.

The real issue is when I tried to resolve it, no one would call me back (despite me calling 3x and leaving my number for the owner/manager), there is basically 0 customer service available online, then when I finally got it cancelled I was effectively blamed for the issue. LAUGHABLE and honestly offensive as I did nothing wrong but am left cleaning up the mess. No apology, no nothing.

Btw the refund is coming via cheque, can expect it in a month

Je préfère y aller plutôt le matin vu qu’en PM y a beaucoup de monde mais sinon j’aime bien la salle.

I came into this econofitness branch (which is my usual one) on Easter Monday to workout but unfortunately left my card at home which led me to come across the misfortune of dealing with the extremely rude gym attendant to help me get in in who literally almost always behaves with the demeanour of someone smug and holier than thou, stares at her phone 99% of the time, never greets any customers and actually actively avoids them.
So basically when I gave her my name in English alphabets, she was confused and mistyped the name (which is okay), gave her the spelling in French, mistyped it again and starts giving me weird condescending looks like she finds it funny that I’m trying to say them to her in French. This lady is so smug and low quality and this isn’t the first she is like this. Please, just because this gym is cheap doesn’t mean we deserve extremely low quality people like this.

I'm coming from 20+ years working out in the most luxury fitness facilities in NYC, so my comments are relative to my previous experiences.

I have no idea how this compares to other gyms in MTL because this is the only place I've worked out since arriving 1 year ago.

Negatives: The gym smells, is often over crowded, the locker rooms suck. There doesn't really seem to be a culture of "letting people work in" in machines. And it's really a bodybuilding culture, lots of machines, not enough.functional equipment (foam pads, attachments, etc) and space to do functional movements.

Positives: Super cheap. Staff is friendly. Customers are friendly and polite. They got rid of the alarm that blares when people drop weights. Lots of machines, which are usually in working order. Huge windows with a decent view, nice lighting.

In the chain one of the premier locations, opening hours are conventional and not accessible during Stat holidays generally would be my only complaint however from the 6th floor the views of the plateau looking southwest in the morning are breath taking.this is the view in Montréal, morning cardio watching an amber sunrise gazing over the steeples, crosses and building art truly makes working out a spiritual experience, a few members I have found to be rude but that comes with higher end gyms.well done team

Souvent fermé alors qu’il devrait être ouvert. Aujourd’hui, il est 9h15, le gym devait ouvrir à 8h, aucun employé. Le gym est fermé. Impossible de rejoindre personne, car les numéros d’urgence laissé à l’immeuble datent de 2018 et ne sont plus à jour. C’est la 5e fois que ça m’arrive. Éviter à tout prix si vous venez tôt le matin.

This gym used to be fine now they accept an unlimited amount of members which makes it so we're constantly waiting!

Le gym est bien, tout comme les équipement. Il faut prendre l'abonnement platine ou extra pour avoir accès aux douches gratuitement.

Les indications ne sont pas si simple après être rentré dans l'immeuble. Il faut prendre l'ascauseur jusqu'au 6e étage (prendre le bloc de ascenseurs sur la droite dans le hall), après le bureau de la sécurité, tourner à droite en sortant et vous aller voir le gym sur la gauche.

Attention aux heures d'ouverture, pour les habitués de Buzzfit, disons que c'est limité!

En début de soirée, c'est parfois très occupé, surtout les lundis et mardis.

La mise-en-place d’une alarme lorsque les poids tombent au sol est d’un ridicule total et empêche de s’entraîner normalement. Le prétexte du « bruit » que les poids feraient lors de leurs chutes est totalement dérisoire étant donné que le building est en béton armé

The music is SO LOUD! I even have noises cancelling headphones and can still hear the music. Everyone has their own ear buds, it is so unnecessary!

The staff are kind, but give contradictory answers to this: “I don’t know how to turn the music. ” “Sorry but we are not allowed. ” Please fix this.

Small gym but decent size for an econofitness. Friendly staff which i liked, but very crowded during peak hours. The equipment isn't good as is the case for this chain of gyms. The lunk alarm is a joke. It's more distracting than the noise itself. Acceptable gym for the average joe, definitely inadequate for any serious bodybuilders worth their salt. You won't build a competitive physique at any econofitness. These are handy gyms for soccer moms and weekend warriors, nothing more.

Very good gym, I would so much love it to be open 24/7! The staff is nice, the people are polite and respect others, it's much crowded after 5pm but still reasonnable

Super gym avec un staff proactif! Je mets 4 étoiles parce que le wifi lague constamment c'est impossible d'écouter des podcasts!

J'essaie de joindre le service à la clientèle depuis près d'un mois et aucun retour de leur part. Bien que leur délais de réponse est normalement de 14 jours, celui-ci n'est pas du tout respecté.

Je ne peux donc pas mettre à jour mon compte comme je n'obtiens aucune réponse.

Un super gym à 2 pas du métro Rosemont, qui possède un grand nombre de machine et poids permettant de travailler le corps entier, ainsi que des espaces cardio et pour les cours en groupe. Mon seul bémol vient des abonnés qui n'ont pas tous la meilleure attitude: certains n'ont pas de serviettes, voire pas de tenue sportive adaptée, le nettoyage des machines leur est facultatif, ainsi que ranger les poids à leur place.

You get what you pay for. Tiny gym, lots of equipment but no room to do your own thing. Super crowded if you're on a 9-5 schedule. Treadmills are archaic. Not the best but good for those on a budget?

Pour un econofitness c’est vraiment une jolie place, les gens dans l’ensemble sont respectueux et agréables et le personnel tout autant. Et quand quelque chose est défectueux ça ne dure jamais trop longtemps.

Après avoir fait plusieurs gym autour de Montréal, Éconofitness Rosemont Saint-Denis Extra est parmi les meilleurs en terme de qualité-prix. L'équipe est top et le gérant est vraiment investi a bien s'occuper du gym. Je recommande à tout le monde.

Très beau gym avec une belle vue du Mont Royal. Bien entretenu, employés accueillants. Je recommande fortement.

Merci au gérant et au commis qui s'investissent et se donnent du mal pour que le gym soit propre (d'ailleurs, pour avoir fait plusieurs centre econofitness, c'est un des gyms les plus propres)! Belle équipe agréable. Sinon choix important de machines cardio et muscu, je recommande!

The gym is clean with good machines but the locker rooms really need to be expanded if possible as this gym is very popular and the tiny locker rooms are always crowded

Bonne salle, spacieuse et bien équipée. Belle vue sur le mont Royal. Accès un peu difficile à trouver, il faut prendre l'ascenseur jusqu'au sixième étage.

Le personnel est aimable, c'est propre et les clients sont respectueux. Une belle vue sur Montréal en plus.

If you're lucky enough to be able to go during the day, you'll have the possibility to use the barbells and plates.else, you'll spend more than half your time there qaiting to use machines - and forget about the barbells.

Great gym for students.if you’re looking for a cheap pretty clean place to workout look no further. Staff are respectful and despite it being a little crowded once in a while, the people there are respectful. Recommend

Gym is okay, you get what you pay for with the affordable price:
- half of the people do not wipe down their machine so prepare to do it for them
- some people often use multiple machines at once
- packed between 5-7pm during the week which is expected

Cheap yes, however it’s been two times in a few weeks that the employee does not show in the morning and that I waste my time coming here. Disappointed.

La vue et les grandes fenêtres sont vmt un + dans ce gym.le gérant a l’air tjrs investi et sa bonne humeur est contagieuse, certains commis full friendly, les sièges massants, ça m’aide à décompresser d’aller la bas!:)

J'apprécie la propreté quand je vais m'entraîner dans ce gym, l'emplacement, et surtout la bonne humeur de l'équipe à l'accueil, aussi bien le gérant qui est toujours à l'écoute, que les commis qui sont souriants. Je recommande.

Côté équipements assez variés, il y a un peu de tout.
Il manque peut-être quelques benchs de plus.

Assez bondé dans les heures de pointes, parfois difficiles de trouver une place ou il faut attendre un peu.
Par contre ça m’est arrivé de partager des équipements en alternance avec quelque-un.

La moyenne d’âge est assez basse.

Les miroirs sont bien placés, la vue à l’extérieur est agréable.

Vestiaire toujours propre.

Et à l’accueil ils sont toujours très sympathiques.

I have frequently seen a few members of staff walking around with their face masks not covering their nose. When I asked them to adjust their mask they ignored my request and gave me attitude about it. I have also seen these staff members ignore the fact that clients were walking around the gym without a mask, sometimes as much as 20-30% of the people in the gym at the time. It’s such a shame because there are some very friendly members of staff but it only takes a few disrespectful people to ruin the whole thing. I strongly do not recommend this gym.

L'hotesse m'a refusé l'accès alors que j'avais une réservation. Service désastreux je ne recommande pas.

Econofitness Rosemont. Vous devriez élargir vos horaires d'ouverture des 5: 30 AM, étant donné que il n'y a pas de gym ouvert 24h à la proximité. Merci.

Worst gym I've been to. Always super busy, people don't clean their machines. Had issues with my subscription as well and there was absolutely no customer service what's so ever to fix my issue. And there is no way to contact the gym by phone. They never answer and voicemail inbox is always full. I wanted a cheap subscription, I sure got cheap service.
