We had a wonderful brunch here in our time in Montréal. Our server, Ranjan, was funny, friendly, and very attentive to our party of 6. Definitely recommend eating here!

Unfortunately I have to select one star if not I will give ZERO for the service. As a guest in the Ruby Foo's hotel I went this morning to ask for cup of water because my son forgot to bring his bottle and was thirsty just before leaving the hotel, but when I went and ask for cup of water the lady who may be the supervisor or Manager or maybe just a waitress told me go outside and buy a bottle which was rude and my little son told me she is not polite because she can just use the tap and not ask us to go buy like we don't know that we can. I didn't want to answer front of my son and we didn't want to eat there as well. Bad service which is the opposite of the hotel I found the room service lady a 10000 time nice and polite than this lady

Had a bad experience with food. Asked for a good meal but it was only some salad… egg and avocado. The eggs were not cooked so went again and ask for a better cooked one and got served the same kind of eggs again with running yolk. Still hungry cuz had to throw it all!

Eleni was amazing! We are here from Virginia Beach VA and had a lovely breakfast with family.

I eat a omelette and it was big and taste. Fast service but alittle to expensive for a breakfast but thats maybe what you shall eggspect with this kind of restaurant.

Usually, this place dosent have a SINGLE soul in there, not a single person. And still the food managed to come at a normal pace. So imagine what happened when all the sudden, for the first time since I’ve been going here that it’s jammed packed. I’ve never heard more than 2 voices in here, and all the sudden these past weekends I’ve heard millions. And as I said before, how when there wasn’t a single person and the food came at a normal pace, so imagine that when the restaurant was jammed packed for the first time since it’s opening day, they where not expecting this one in a trillion chance, they where not prepared. I enter, and even though there’s like 2 tables left, and nobody waiting they made me wait, saying how they don’t have a hostess. We finally get seated and after like 20 hours of waiting we’re like « screw this » and leave because we knew that if the food came at a normal pace with nobody there, it would take 40000 hours with more then 1 person in restaurant so we left.

Favourite breakfast place in Montreal hands down. The food is tasty and delicious. Nice and fresh. Your missing out if you dont come here. Owner is amazing. Waitresses are super friendly and polite. Love this place. We stay at this hotel because of the Eggspectation!

The service is great, staff is so warm and friendly! Had the chance to meet the manager Nick and Sia had us with the best treatment we could get!

Family friendly staff. I brought my toddler here multiple times and he was always well treated.

Food was great, not a bad price considering everything is up, and it was a nice looking spot. The service was the issue.

I got the sense that they were cleaning up post rush to reset and there was a high level of stress from the manager that was affecting all servers, even though the place was close to empty at this point.

Being seated was fast but getting served for everything else was extremely slow! To the point that I felt that I was being ignored.

I'd go to eggspectation again but not this location.

This is a favorite breakfast place for my family. The service is great and their omelettes are always a sure win. Parking is available which now in a busy city like Montreal is a great bonus.

I highly recommend ordering the chicken: very tasty and juicy, and a HUGE portion!

Brunch was amazing and the place is really pretty and cozy.
Ankara had us with the best treatment we could get, and also gave my grandparents a great first experience in a Montreal restaurant as they went after a long 11 hours trip from Brazil.

J'ai pris des oeufs bénédictines, c'est vraiment pas top, fade, papates (du congelés surement) trop salées, oeufs avec vinaigre.la serveuse très gentille m'a fait un petit rabais. Mais deçue, je pense pas y retourner

Eleni, our waitress was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and big portions for breakfast. I highly recommend.

Très bon restaurant relié a l'hôtel mais. Un peu trop dispendieux a mon goût.
Quand on. Est 2 personnes et que ça reviens à 25$ l'assiette chacun pour. Un déjeuner? 6$ un jus et 5$ un cappuccino. Ouff.

Do yourself a favour and never eat here. If you’re staying at the hotel just go to allo mon coco two minutes away. Hostess was extremely rude, waitress was lost caught her twice yelling at the buss boy who was the only one working properly.
Waitress didn’t bring water until she brought the bill. The food was terrible I ordered eggs bacon and pancakes. Eggs were extremely undercooked, pancakes were hard when advertised as fluffy and potatoes were hard.
I gave tip because I’m not an animal but I regret it completely. Never ever eat here you’re better off at McDonald’s.

My meal was fine, but it turned into a debacle when I tried to pay. Cash seems to work everywhere else but here. “Getting change from the manager” seemed to be more of a project than building the new Champlain Bridge.

Food was delicious and staff were all friendly and attentive. In addition to my meal (Mykonos Omellette), I ordered the Green Light juice and a cappuccino- both made with care and so good.

Poor experience (specifically at Ruby Foos location). Will never go back. Staff was pleasant but all went downhill shortly after we ordered. My husband and I made our choices. The food arrived fairly quickly. After the plate was set in front of us, the waitress asked my husband if he wanted toast (we found it odd that she would ask at this point as bread is normally served together with the meal). He said yes of course since he ordered his eggs sunny side up so as to dip the bread. Well, it took close to 10 minutes to get the toast. We complained that the eggs got cold in the meantime. Waitress and manager claimed they want to serve ‘hot bread’ and this is why they didn’t bring it with the meal. What? So we have hot bread but cold eggs! To make things worse, once the toast finally arrived, they only served 1 slice (for 2 eggs). We questioned that as well and the response was ‘we try not to waste the bread as many people only eat 1 slice. If you wanted another slice, all you have to do is ask’. So we should have waited another 10 minutes for the second slice? I was shocked! If their policy is different than every other restaurant in the city, then they should advise up front. It didn’t make any sense. Anyhow, we had the cold eggs and left. I think the least they could have done was compensate for ruining our breakfast. Also, no jam no peanut butter no butter nothing on the table as is standard in all breakfast places. Booooo

Very friendly service, nice food at same prices as other Eggspectation locations. We would eat here again. Nice that it is right here on the Ruby Foo’s complex

Cela fait 20 ans que je fréquente ce restaurant. Dimitra et les serveurs/ses nous accueillent toujours avec un sourire. J'ai été très surprise lorsque la nouvelle gérante nous interpelle pour nous dire que les choses ont changé et qu'elle ne voit pas pourquoi on n'attend pour être placé. Cela est loin d'être fait de manière aimable et polie. Je comprends mais nous sommes habitués a aller directement à un table. Mon fils voulait partir, je décide de rester, les aliments furent servis séparément et le yogourt avait surit/tourné Ne gachez pas votre temps, nous allons au restaurant pour passer du bon temps et avoir une repas convenable. Le temps d'attente exagéré et ceci avec peu de tables, dommage pour les serveuses qui nous servais depuis quelque temps.

Went for breakfast, the food was great the flavours were amazing. Ordered their famous lobster benedictine, the portion of the lobster is great but everything thing else the portions are very mediocre like the potato chips the fruits and the sauce. Also in my opinion the place needs more vibrancy to it than just the way it is.

Service is either a hit or miss, it depends on who's on duty. Sometimes they take my order quickly, and the food arrives promptly. Other times, however, it takes much longer than it needs to. Food is only satisfactory - it will satiate your hunger but it's insipid.

Eggspected more from a beautifully decorated resto. Very basic, and the potatoes that came with the eggs benedict were like McCain circle fries.

Je suis arrivé pour l'ouverture. Le restaurant était ouvert, mais personne pour faire le service. Donc, je suis parti.

This place is awful. I stay at this hotel for work 2-3 times a week. Typically don’t go for breakfast or any food to be honest at the hotel. My co-worker and I walk in, on a Sunday morning, and have to ask to be sat down. Once sat we get a glass of water brought to us by a hostess. Then sat there for 15 minutes with no menu or anyone asking us if we have been helped. Several servers walked by us. Finally I have to ask a server for a menu. He didn’t even realize how long we had been waiting. He had walked by us several times and knew we should of been helped, but pretended like he didn’t know. Very short with us, and not friendly. Order OJ, and a standard breakfast. Over priced and not good. There is a breakfast place less than 5 mins walk away MUCH cheaper and much better. I would suggest going there. I will never be back to this restaurant.

Nous sommes arrivés à 10h dimanche matin, nous avon attendu 45min pour commander, personne ne s’est occupés de nous pendant ce temps là. Pas de cartes de menus, pas de verres d’eau, pas de café. J’ai commencé à m’impatienter, j’ai demandé si on pouvait passer commande. Une dame est alors venue prendre la commande. Et encore 45 minutes pour être servis. Toujours pas d’eau, pas café. J’ai sollicité une nouvelle fois, la dame a l’air surprise qu’on veuille un café.
Ils sont clairement en sous effectifs. Avec 2 grosses tables d’une vingtaine de personne ce matin, ils sont débordés.
Les plat étaient bons sans plus.
A éviter si vous êtes pressés. Et on l’était ce matin là…

Service excellent very friendly and warm! Food really tasty, huge choice, big portions! Went there often in past. Will start going back again!

I had a Montreal Benny which came to my table allot quicker then I expected it, the hash browns or chips were soggy and borderline cold when I believe they should be hot and crispy, the smoked meat was used sparingly and it was dry as though it’s been sitting out in the elements all morning.the Benny itself had little to no hollandaise sauce and I had to ask for more after eating half of it already. The waiter was quite accommodating and aimed to please however for a $20 plate I was far from satisfied and I would not recommend this place for breakfast dining when there are so many better places within city limits.

Toujours un plaisir manger là-bas. Les plats sont très bien servis, délicieux et pas cher, les serveurs sont gentils et aimables. J'aime y aller les samedis et dimanches. Je vous recommande

Drove 20 min to get there, we sat and no one came to talk to us, empty table, no menu, waited for about 15 min until someone give us a menu, no one did, I had to grab on from the table beside me, another 15 min wait, no waiter, me and my miss just stood up and left.

The owner is probably reading it and even tho I understand the struggles due to the pandemic, that’s not the point here, your staff is not well trained and it needs to be redone.

Will not return.

Who is running this place? 20 people in the restaurant. We waited 35 minutes to get our coffee. Order was all messed up Still didn't get my toast and my Juice. When the waiter came back with our Breakfast it was cold. I asked him where's my Toast? He said its over there and I said well why isn't it over Here? 45 minutes later we got up and left. Still no Juice.

I ordered the green light juice and they had no idea how to make it, when it came it was chunky. I also had a pancake which was ok, but overall I wouldn’t go their again.

Brunch there is always a pleasure.
Usually I go with Benedictine eggs but today I tried one of their omelets.
Never disappointed at eggspectation

15 minutes waiting for someone to tell me whether they have a table or not. They simply ignored me there. On the same time I saw a lady waiting 15 minutes to pay her bill.
